Had a skip delivered to my elderly mothers house and she said that the “boys” who delivered the skip were great , placing the skip where required.
The whole experience with this company went exactly as planned , all staff had been most helpful from start to finish.
Would highly recommend.

Very disappointing experience with Pink Skip. We were given a rusty, old skip and then hit with an additional £210 charge based on T&Cs buried in tiny size-4 font behind a click-through on their website.

When the skip was due to be collected, the driver who arrived had very limited English and refused to take it. I was then phoned by an English-speaking member of staff and told the skip would not be collected unless I paid the additional £210 charge.

The whole experience felt unnecessarily opaque and poor value. I would not use Pink Skip again and would strongly advise others to check the small print carefully before booking.

Skip removed mid-hire without my authorisation — poor resolution

I hired a skip from P.B. Donoghue and during an active hire period it was collected without any authorisation from me, the account holder. The company acted on a phone call from a third party (not me) and removed the skip without first verifying authority with the named person on the contract. I had previously told them it was not ready for collection.

As a direct result I've been left unable to complete my works and now face roughly £500 to arrange a replacement skip elsewhere — despite having spent close to £1,000 with them recently.

From 13 February onwards I made repeated calls and emails trying to resolve this. I was told each time that someone would get back to me and consistently had to chase. After more than ten days, the only remedy offered was £10 off a future hire, with the company stating the matter is closed and that it won't involve itself in a "dispute between landowners." But the contract was between the company and me — removing the skip was their decision, not a private dispute.

I offered several reasonable compromises (a replacement skip, even a smaller one, or reimbursement of my costs) and all were declined. Disappointing handling of a straightforward contractual issue. I would not recommend them on this experience.

We ordered a skip and exactly what we ordered we received at the exact time of delivery agree, The pick up was also perfect, A big shout for Jacob in the office and to the delivery and pick up team

PBD tipper truck driver attempted to run me off the road. He was travelling at 60mph in a 50mph zone, then took the 3rd exit off a around-about while he was in the left hand lane, he didn't indicate and pushed my vehicle onto the kerb of the round-about. I pretty much had to perform an emergency brake as he took both lanes to travel around the round-about. After I beeped him he lowered his window and gave me the finger. MR23 PBD @ 7:25am. Wonderful way to start the day.

We had booked 2 skips with PB Donoghue for garden waste removal mostly and another for some house and garage clearout. The girls in the booking office were very friendly and informative. The address is a narrow private road, so wasn't sure how the skip would be dropped off without any issues...the driver did an excellent job he managed to turn on the narrow road and drop off the skip on the drive exactly the space we needed it. Great service- the driver was good at his job, quick and professional.

What a top class excellent company, flexible and really helpful. The star "Karly" on the phone at the helm went over and above to be extra helpful....I achieved what I needed to and pink skips made it hassle free.

This is the go to skip hire company, honestly!

Would have been 5 stars because until day of collection service had been exemplary. But they turned up a day before agreed date which I had discussed just the day before and tried to charge me an extra £12 for a mattress which I'd already paid for and then had to provide proof. So I'm left with waste still and feel like I've wasted my money and I'm going to be even more out of pocket because now I need another skip. No gestures of goodwill from company for adding to my chores. It's very sad because they'd done everything well but their professionalism let them down at the very last minute because of their "schedule" which means they needed the skip back early which is very poor administration.
