I joined Patricia White Agency 2004 and have enjoyed my journey with them over the past 19 years, I have met the most wonderful staff at our offices, who are professionally experienced in placing carers with clients. What made my experience great started with the kindness and support of their recruitment department staff, to my acceptance as one of their carers. I must mention that their standard of vetting was high. I needed to comply with all their requirement in terms of training and the provision of documentation. Where I was inadequate, they pointed out, where to get the necessary training. I can conveniently say they are one of the best. They know what they are looking for in a carer, and are one of the best care recruitment agencies. They pay a very good rate. I would recommend them any day to anyone who has the experience and is ready to work. Their clients are high-earned and first-class.

PW's is another level of care. No wonder they are the best agencies around. My personal experience as a "live in carer" has only been great. From their recruitment procedures, trainings, the best and most competitive rates, to the clients, placements, locations, family and agency involvement when needed, etc... Truly serious and professional agency.

Patricia White's hourly rate is very good and they always try to find a clients in your area.
The communication could be better. In a case of emergency you have to leave a message or send an email an you get a call back.

In what was a very difficult and stressful time for us as a family, having the support of Patricia White's made a huge difference. The team was knowledgeable and empathetic, and our carer, Glynnis, has been wonderful. It has been a hugely positive experience.

Avril and Gemma c/o Patricia Whites. What can I say, except excellent. Communication is second to none. Whenever I need help E.g I had shingles. Patricia Whites sorted out a replacement. At the end of the phone throughout. The company helped me through covid when travel was hard. I have nothing but praise in every department. I always know that the phone will be answered and my query dealt with. They have NEVER let me down. Excellent customer service. I worked with another Agency before. There is no going back. Highly recommended Patricia Whites and the lovely ladies in the office.

I have been a carer with Patricia Whites for over six years now. I have always been placed with great clients, some long term, some short term. Avril and Gemma in the office, not only take the client's needs into consideration when finding a suitable carer, but also take our needs into account as well. If I have any concerns the ladies are always a phone call away, I am always grateful for the support I receive.
The agency also arranges "carer get togethers" and it is nice to meet up with other carers, chat and relax for a few hours.

Patricia Whites is one of the best Agencies, if not the best, I worked for as a self-employed Care Worker. I have been working with them for two years and the experience has been amazing. If you are not picky, in your choice of placements, you will definitely have more than enough work to keep you busy.

I have also observed that my colleagues from Patricia Whites, whom I have met and worked with, are experienced and highly skilled Care Workers.

I worked with PW's for 6 months. I wasn't welcomed at all very unprofessional office manner and was not delt with. Staff member told lies also once issues were raised with HR. Bullied out of a job - very nasty. I wouldn't recommend them.

Through Patricia White's we were able to engage Ethel, who looked after our mother from May 2022 until she passed away in March 2023. We are so fortunate to have had Ethel with us for all this time. She provided lively, good humoured and immensely caring companionship to mum when she was in good health, ensuring that her days were filled with warmth, friendship and wonderful food! Ethel never stinted when mum’s health deteriorated, delivering the kindest, most compassionate care we could have wished for during mum’s illness and passing. She received the highest praise from all the medical and nursing teams involved in mum’s final care and always made time to nurture the rest of the family during a very difficult period. We shall miss her and highly recommend her to others.

We needed to find my mother a live-in carer to help her when she was discharged from a hospital stay. Patricia White's was recommended to us via a friend-of-a-friend. Avril from the agency was extremely helpful, she went through everything we needed to know and what our needs were, and sent through a shortlist of available carers, all at very short notice. The agency remained in touch with me and the carer to make sure everything was going ok, and found us an additional carer when we needed to extend the cover. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Patricia White's to anyone looking for a live-in carer for themselves or a loved one. I was reassured by the information and sensitive, professional service provided. We will definitely go through PW again if we need live-in care again in the future.

I have used Patricia White's before and they were helpful then, so when our private local carer broke her arm and was at the last minute unable to come (to give me some respite from looking after my disabled husband, when I wasn't well myself) I turned to them again. The results were wonderful. Beata was with us within a day or two, and has been a godsend. She works discreetly, does more than I would ask, is cheerful, courteous and competent. She has also been able to engage my husband in conversation, with intelligence and compassion, which has been good for him and takes some load off me. I recommend her highly.

The live in carers that Patricia White has supplied for my mother have always been excellent. They are friendly, professional and look after my mother really well. Particular kudos to Kerry who came for a few weeks and has been with us for nearly 3 years! She sometimes takes a holiday and all the temporary carers supplied by Patricia White have been great as well. Yes it’s not cheap but nursing homes aren’t cheap either and it enables my mother to have a great quality of life and gives the rest of us peace of mind.

Incredibly quick response two weeks ago when I was suddenly left without a live-in carer for my mother by another agency.
The carer from PW has been absolutely fantastic - she fitted in with my mother (plus dog and cat) so subtly and skilfully, without upsetting her in in any way. My mother herself had only just come back to her flat the day before and then had a new person living with her, but when I visited after a week, she was clearly very relaxed and happy. Her carer has gently pushed and encouraged her back towards independence and enabled her to see that she is progressing and will continue to do so. She says she is going to miss her carer a lot.

I am a repeat customer. Gemma, Avril and the team are always extremely helpful and are often able to find excellent carers at very short notice. Wumi was perfect for our needs this time. She was flexible and understanding of a changing situation, as well as being highly experienced and compassionate.

Maggie was a huge help during our 2 1/2 weeks in Italy. She pitched in with helping us as a family and also seemed to enjoy the house, beach et cetera and was most appreciative of having vegetarian food provided for her. She was very kind in caring for my husband who is not the easiest client. Altogether a positive experience for everyone.
