The house was clean and comfortably furnished, comfortable firm beds and a well organised, functioning and well equipped kitchen. There was a pool table, table football and other nice things to pass the time.

Located a little bit out of the centre, however in a nice quiet road with a huge Morrisons a few minutes away. I would definitely recommend this house for any large family staying in Cheltenham.

I've recently enjoyed a 10 days break at the above property located at Lower Oxford Street; the apartment was quite nice, with modern furniture and simple, inspirational kitchen design. The bathroom was a bit tiny, but functional. Satisfactory bedrooms space, with 2 beds. I would recommend this accomodation unreservedly.

Property itself was spacious, light and well located. Good facilities. But it was clear that guest comments over 3 or 4 years had not been addressed. TVs in bedrooms did not work, shower leaked into the living room below, slats on the bed were loose. As soon as we entered, we were met with an awful smell from fishing kit left in the entrance lobby. In the living room, the floor under the sofas had not been cleaned and there was food there. A pill was left on the bedroom floor. The cleaners addressed these issues on the afternoon of day 2.

Unsafe and Horrible Stay – My Holiday Was Completely Ruined

This was supposed to be a happy holiday for my mom ,me, my husband, my autistic daughter — her first proper break in a long time. Instead, it turned into a nightmare that broke her heart and left us feeling unsafe, stressed, and humiliated.

From the first day, the house was filthy. The carpets were so dirty that our feet turned black from just walking on them. The bedding was stained, the fan and oven were disgusting, and the bins outside were overflowing with trash, smelling horrible, with rubbish blowing in from other gardens. The “garden” wasn’t even usable.

The back garden door didn’t lock, which made me feel unsafe the entire time. The bath and shower drains were blocked, and water barely drained. The whole house was freezing cold and damaged — noisy stairs, broken flooring, and a constant sense that we were staying somewhere neglected and unsafe.

One morning, the electricity went off completely. They paid for the top-up, but I had to figure out on my own how to turn it back on, following confusing instructions. This meant I couldn’t fully charge my phone. Later, when I went out with my daughter to the park, my phone died. At the same time, the landlord was calling me nonstop, demanding I come back immediately to give the keys for a viewing. I had already said I didn’t want anyone entering the house during my holiday while our belongings were there. They didn’t respect that. They kept calling and asking for my location. When my phone died, they started calling my mum and my husband instead.

I have a cardio condition, and that day, rushing to get back to the house, lost outside with no battery and no way to use Google Maps, I started having chest pain. My little girl got scared and worried for me — and that moment is something I’ll never forget. What was supposed to be a joyful holiday turned into panic, stress, and fear.

We left early because we didn’t feel safe staying there. My daughter cried because she didn’t understand why her holiday was cut short. It broke her heart and mine too.

To make it even worse, I still haven’t received my full refund. I don’t understand how I had to pay even the amount they kept after everything we went through. This experience is something I can hardly put into words — it was exhausting, humiliating, and completely unacceptable.

No one should have to go through this. The property is unsafe, dirty, and nothing like what is shown in the listing. I would never recommend this property or this company to anyone.
