Don't waste your time! I've emailed several times only to be responded (each time with an automated "fill this lengthy form out with all your personal information"; which I have done but had zero response several months later. Interestingly the property I emailed about, months ago, is still on the market: I wonder how much folk are paying for this poor letting service with their houses waiting for a tenant?

Bridgnorth office)We were ideal buyers, cash and with nothing to sell. However incredibly disappointed in dealing with Nock Deighton in contrast to other estate agents . They are extremely hard to contact, rarely returned calls and we felt manipulated and ignored. If we hadn't have really wanted the house we would have walked away. Our experience means will definitely not ever be using this company by choice

I contacted this company via email, twice about three weeks ago; regarding a property in Buildwas. My emails, were ignored. One day about 10 days ago, I was contacted by a staff member to arrange a viewing, with a thinly veilled apology. I was told by the staff member that they would contact the vendor and get back to me with a confirmation. Ten days passed and I was contacted by the staff member, who said they had managed to contact the vendor today. I want to know where was the phone call, in the past 10 days, to keep me updated. If you are buying or selling with this company, you need to watch out that they are playing with a straight bat.

Would like to say thank you to Nockdeighton for a job well done. But a special thanks to the after sales team, Matthew James who went above and beyond to ensure our sale went through. When our sale went belly up Matthew was 100% behind us. Matthew is professional, made us laugh, has a wicked sense of humour. Matthew is a real asset to the company.

Kidderminster branch - House was overvalued and sales patter was convincing about how my house would sell within the week. Having paid £280 for photos I expected these to be of a high standard. House went on in January 23. Not a single viewing or enquiry. Unable to find house on website using search function. I had to chase a couple of times to get things changed re: photos that were put up on moving site. Photos poor quality and included something I specifically asked to be blurred out. Pictures changed on one site but not the other. Abandoned by the agent. Had a couple of phone calls in all that time suggesting I drop price, which I did. Then next call was to drop price again a couple of weeks later. I asked to have photos taken again, or my money back for those. Was told they did not think there was anything wrong with photos and basically I was defensively told they would understand if I wanted to go elsewhere. I have not been ringing and pestering but have been polite and patient. They did not have any sales strategy or advice for me apart from drop price even though no price related feedback as no viewings. Really poor service. I do not feel like they marketed my house properly at all. Refused to refund the money for photos and refused to remedy poor quality. I would avoid.

After a painful experience with another Estate Agent in trying to help sell my fathers property, with no offers after 8 months, we instructed Andy Dawson from Nock Deighton, Shrewsbury to handle the sale. I found him to be extremely professional and kept me posted on a very regular basis off how things were progressing. His approach and marketing of my fathers property was outstanding and after little over a month we received an offer which we have accepted. Andy has been a breath of fresh air in the dealings we have experienced trying to sell my fathers house. I cannot thank him enough for all his help and advice. Fingers crossed all goes through very soon. Thanks Andy.

It is a pity you cannot award no stars to a company whose moral compass does not register any emotive or moral grounds when it comes to being a buyer who offers an asking price on a property but yet has to wait for this company to then chase (yes call and e mail viewers) asking them and then extending a deadline, to give these other viewers more time to put in an offer on a property that was not subject to final or best offers. The lack of transparency and honesty is questionable. We were waiting for days for an answer to our asking price offer whilst the other viewers were given time and more time to source finances upon which when the offer from the other party was secured having been given in excess of a week and then extended once more to 'just one more night' in which to source the money (not sure which bank is open overnight for mortgage advice?) and surprisingly then secured the property. I will not go in anymore detail other than I consider myself to be an honest, trustworthy and transparent individual who wrongly assumes that maybe everyone in this world might be too.

Absolutely disgraceful service from the Telford office! We collected the keys to a rental property and on arrival at the house we found it in a pitiful state! When we viewed the house it needed attention to heavily stained carpets, lifting lino, the cooker didn't work and a good clean as there were dead flies in the shower and the toilets were disgraceful, the viewing took place approximately 5 weeks prior so plenty of time to put things in a liveable condition. When we arrived at the house on moving day it was still in the exact same state!! We had to go through rigorous vetting checks, interview, pay an abundance of fees some none refundable, despite voluntarily paying 6 months rent in advance. By the time we had taken pictures of the state of the property and tried to call them the office had closed (Friday), no-one was reachable. We have 2 small children, we had to put all our stuff in to family garages and stay elsewhere. We tried to call the office Saturday morning understandably angry and upset only to be told there was no one that could help until Monday morning and that if we'd have turned up on time to collect the keys then (we were half an hour late and notified them that we'd be late they said this was fine) things would've been different, basically saying it was our fault that the property was like that and that we'll have to wait until Monday!! The customer service is abismle to say the least. They only want to speak with you when they're asking for money. The maintenance team don't work weekends and are uncontactable at the weekend, and the person in authority was on holiday with no cover in place.

ND rental management in Bridgnorth has always been very professional and well organised by Ann. Over the years that we've been using ND Ann is a constant, reliable and capable part of the team .
During COVID she kept us well informed on what was happening whilst the office was closed.
Make sure that the other members of the ND team do what they are supposed to but Ann will be there to keep them focussed ..!!

Why is Nock Deighton advertising as 5 star review when the review is 3 star, should not be allowed, avoid Ludlow office poor service for buyers and sellers.

Disappointing service. Look elsewhere there must be better out there!
To be honest I expected better, we were pressured to make a decision in a very short time on two offers with £1k between them. ND had told us during the process that they wouldn't allow anyone to bid that couldn't prove funding.
We accepted the higher offer and three months later they withdrew citing an inability to afford the property even if we dropped it by £50k!
We eventually found another buyer for a similar price however ND's promise of having someone to progress the sale is nowhere to be seen. Numerous phone calls as teh sale drags on, the buyer has no chain we have no chain. All we get is next week!

All of our requests for maintenance at our rental property have been handled with great efficiency.

I have recently sold (Subject to Contract) a 4 bedroomed terraced house in Kidderminster through Nock Deighton's Kidderminster office. We had very efficient service from Ryan and Caroline and would recommend them to any prospective vendor.

If you want your house selling by a team that don’t know what they are doing, then this is the team for you.
The valuation went well to be fair but then when an offer came in there so called experts just call you and ask what you want to do. They couldn’t negotiate free ice for eskimos.
Then comes the paper work. Wow. Total incompetence. It’s like they have a three second memory cause once that piece of paper or email passes there desk it’s forgotten. And it’s all lead by a director that shouldn’t be in charge of a dolls house never mind the sale of your home.
Years ago with the original directors I agree they were a top class service but now they have all retired and the new power trip double act have taken over it’s no better than a common internet based agent.
Best of all they’re about double the price of a decent estate agent that treats you like a person and doesn’t look down there nose at you. Seriously, save your money and use one of them. All the houses end up on right move anyway and I assure you you’ll get half the service for double the price with this rabble.

Shocking service. We used this company as tenants and I've never come across a service of staff to be so rude and incompetent in my life. You get passed around because nobody wants to deal with your query because your calling as a tenant and not actually making them any money. Completely money driven and only care about where their next letting or sale is coming from, couldnt care less about tenants well being or quality of service. If I could give any advice I would say steer clear if you plan to rent through these guys. Also if you happen to have to break your contract for personal reasons they are of no help at all, they charge you a hefty reletting fee (yes this is in the contract) but then give you absolutely no correspondence or updates from there on, just leave you in the dark as if moving isnt stressful enough. Randomly call to say someone is coming to view the property with little to no notice. Have people show up to show around the property that havent a clue what they are doing. Leave the door open because they dont have a key and no regard to personal property as we were still paying for the house and living there. Particularly natasha who I found extremely arrogant who was supposed to be "property management" and couldnt have been further from it. Her emails "endeavour to get back in a day" which sometimes took two weeks which delayed the whole process of moving out and finding someone to move in yet she took no blame for this, didnt even get as much as an apology. Just overall rude and really not a good service or experience with them at all. (And the funny thing is the one time they did actually call or contact was to give them a good google review - laughable)

A property was sold to us empty with no upward chain. After 4 months and expensive searches and professional valuations, which were disputed by your valuer the property was put into a upward chain which lost us our buyer. The property was then immediately re-marketed at an higher price.
