We viewed a property through them and had an agreement in principle accepted, which they confirmed in an email while we awaited the sale of our own property. We understand that this was an agreement in principle, and if another offer came in that could proceed, the property could be sold.
We forwarded the email to our estate agent so they could inform potential buyers that we had this agreement.
Then one morning, while checking the property market, we noticed that this property had been sold subject to contract. We were disappointed that they hadn’t informed us of this, and we found out this way. We contacted the office, and they said someone would get back to us, but no one did. There seems to be a pattern there. They appear very friendly, but as soon as you’re not of used to them, their tone changes.
In reply to your reply, please see below. We have copies of the email that you sent confirming the offer would be acceptable provisionally. I have also contacted your office and can supply copies of the email although you should have them.
I have had another request to supply more information. I have as stated contacted your office and I will email you personally a copy of what you sent me. It appears that you are trying to just keep on asking for information to try and get this honest and genuine review removed.

I phoned this estate agents on Tuesday 11 April to ask about viewing a house for sale.
The woman asked for all of my personal details for their data base, they answered some of my questions about the house and I booked an appointment to view the house on Friday at 10:00am. The agents could see from my personal details that I didn't live in the area and I made it very clear that I was only going to be in Kidderminster for one day--Friday 14th-- to view properties.
On Friday morning I drove three hours from where I currently live to view this property at 10:00am. I waited until about 10:15am and when no agent turned up I phoned them to see why they were late.
They first said the appointment had been booked for another day, then they said my appointment had never been confirmed. How could the appointment have been booked on another day?I had only booked the appointment three days ago and I was clear I was only in the area on Friday 14th. Also, why had the appointment not been confirmed in the agent's diary? I had been very clear I was keenly interested in buying the house and was driving three hours to see it. If there was a question over the appointment then why had the agents not said anything at the time of booking or contacted me with queries afterward?
I was given no explanation as to why my appointment had not been booked and confirmed for Friday 14th at 10:00am. I asked if someone could meet me at the house today because I was there at the time of the call and I had driven a long way to view it. I was genuinely interested in making an offer on the house, but I won't do that without seeing the property. The agents said there was no way I could view the property today. They asked me if I could come back another day. They didn't seem to understand that I had taken off work and driven for three hours that morning. I was shocked that I was being asked to take off work again and drive all the way back out to Kidderminster because of the agent's mistake.
The house has been on the market for a while and I had wondered what was wrong with the house but now I realise it's not the house that's the problem it's the agent.
The owner probably has no idea that people are trying to view and buy their property but buyers are being prevented from viewing and buying because of the agent. I don't understand why the agent doesn't want to sell this house? They could have sold it today.
If you are trying to buy a house through this agent I would suggest you phone them daily after booking viewings just to make sure they will actually turn up to the viewing.
If you are trying to sell a house through this agent--good luck! Your house will probably take longer to sell due to the agents not scheduling viewings for people to see and buy your house.
21/06/2023 UPDATE: I phoned TWO agencies to book viewings at TWO different houses for Friday. I explained to both agencies that I was only in the area on Friday and had to book viewings that day only. When I phoned your agency, a booking was made for me for 10:00am on Friday at Stourbridge Road. When I turned up at 10:00am no one was there, after waiting I phoned and was told the booking had been made for another day. Now you're trying to say there was no booking scheduled at all and that I only called one agency for a booking at another house. I have phone records that can prove that I made calls to both of your agencies and booked TWO viewings at TWO separate houses.
After I phoned you on Friday to see why you hadn't turned up to our booked appointment, I was told the appointment had been book on another day and that no one could turn up on Friday but the appointment could be rescheduled for another day. I again explained that I was only in Kidderminster for Friday and couldn't drive all the way back up to Kidderminster on another day because YOU incorrectly booked the appointment.
Now you're inviting me to drive all the way back up to Kidderminster to listen to one phone call that I made to your other branch to book a viewing for another house. Why would I do that?
Looking at your confused response and complete inability to take responsibility for YOUR mistake, it seems apparent that mistakes will continue to happen at this agency. Good luck to anyone trying to view through you. Perhaps a course in scheduling and customer service would be useful for your staff going forward.

The way they have treated me is beyond disgusting despite being a vulnerable tenant. Problem after problem with my property and I have to fight them to get any repairs done. Lied to me about their rights and what they are able to do basically to fob me off.
