I bought a beautiful red and white dress for a wedding. I got to wear it two times and the elastic in the sleeves completely went (the dress was not washed only dry cleaned twice). Awful quality and there is absolutely no reason a dress would lose its elastic like that except for the quality being so bad it can’t be worn more than twice.

I have been begging for a return label for 5 days. I am going on hols for 3 weeks so will be outside of return time - they are simply ignoring me and you cannot get hold of a human to help. Absolutely shocking will never buy direct again

Awful customer service! Ordered three items and returned two over three weeks ago and still haven’t received a refund - can’t get in contact with anyone to resolve even though Royal Mail tracking shows the return was delivered to them on 1st September - have now had to raise an dispute with PayPal as thankfully paid through them - avoid at all costs if you want to return anything!

Like others have experienced, they have not refunded my delivery charge, which they are obliged to do under UK distance selling laws. They have also charged me £4 for a returns fee so there is no reason to keep this charge. I will not order anything from them again.

I had a problem with my package missing after delivery and Elizabeth helped me so much and made sure everything went smoothly. I really rate the experience I got and always get when Im in the stores too!

Nobody's Child CONNING Customers
I bought a jacket online from Nobody’s Child, advertised at £159.00 with free shipping. But once their “generous” 20% discount was applied, a £5.00 shipping charge appeared, turning that 20% into just 16.07%—a little trick they don’t mention. I wrote to their head office a week ago and, unsurprisingly, received no reply thus far. Things got worse when I had to return the jacket for being too large. Instead of refunding the £132.20 I paid, they kept the £5.00 delivery fee and charged a £4.00 “handling fee” for returns, leaving me with £123.20. Thankfully, I always use a credit card, so if anything shady happens, I can go through my bank. With an average rating of 3.2*, it’s no surprise—there’s no phone number, and their email support is a joke in 2026. Their clothes may look nice, but poor customer practices and service make them not worth the trouble. With so many options out there, I won’t be buying from this company

Do not order from this company unless you are 100% sure you want the product.
I ordered some dresses for a funeral, most were terrible quality so I returned them through the correct return process . The tracking label says the dresses arrived with NC on 3rd September. I had to pay for the return . I have still not had a refund and have not had a response to a single email since the 3rd and the phone number refers you to the email.
Terrible service and they still owe me more than £200 !!

This company needs investigating asap on how they handle returns. I’m missing £30 from my refund amount, no explanation, no commutation, no one to speak to!
Disgusting company. I would only buy their clothes from M&S from now on.
I emailed 4 weeks ago and haven’t received any response apart from an automated AI robot

I returned goods but never received a refund, because I produced the essential documents as proof of postage ect this was very promptly dealt with... Very good service.

I received the dress I ordered on 7th Sept , it was too small so I started the returns process.
As it’s a sale item I only have 14days from receipt to return.
When I tried to create the label I was told the order is not recognised. I got on to the customer service and since then have had no solution.
I have emailed about 6 or 7 times since and I just get an automated response saying my request has been updated!
I live in Ireland so need to act quickly to get this return completed but am being met with a brick wall….
I looked it up and according to the info given it seems it’s an issue with Irish orders!
Never again !!

I had a few issues to sort out and Meg was absolutely amazing. Really personal and helpful and resolved all of my questions with ease.

I bought an orange linen blend halter neck dress from nobody’s child.
I’m very disappointed that is frayed after 2 washes. I’ve tried emailing the company along side with receipt & photos of the product, an email bounced back saying they have blocked my email !

Unsolicited mail to my work address and when I complained they just sent an AI response saying, not our problem, here is the company who sold us your details

Where is my refund I’m going through PayPal to get it back absolutely diabolical

Although I was not a good match for the dresses I ordered, I would give 10+ stars to Rory in Customer service, who helped me so patiently with the international return, when the error was embarrassingly mine. It took a few emails to sort this out and he always responded in a timely and professional manner. I can't thank him enough for helping me out and giving me a good impression of Nobody's Child.

Very impressed by not only the beautiful range of carefully curated clothes, but also the customer service when I had an issue which was quickly and helpfully resolved by Violeta. Highly recommend this company.
