The NFU and Loss adjusters handled the whole claim with understanding and thoughtfulness, with regular updates right through till the final settlement.

I have always found NFU to be professional and helpful. They aren't the cheapest, but I consider them one of the best, and that's why I used them.

I wanted to insure a new 5.0 ltr F-Type, and their underwriter stated they didn't cover 'racing cars'. I pointed out that they had insured my 5.0 ltr F-Pace SVR for the previous 4 years, which goes 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, but they weren't interested.

I also pointed out that SVR stands for 'Special Vehicle Racing', but their representative was at a loss.

In the end, I went elsewhere.

I have CANCELLED ALL my insurance policies with NFU. They expected me to drive with a broken car windscreen 22+ miles, 50 mins, to get it repaired, no repair available in my drive even though car windscreen covered my insurance. I am nearly 80. Also their policies are v v expensive. Date of breakage sometime in July I think, torn up all their 3 Policies.

I would 100% recommend the NFU. Alfred Bryant is absolutely brilliant. Always available to speak to! Outstanding service!

I filled out their online form to obtain a car insurance quote, but like other reviewers have reported, I didn’t receive a call back as promised so have now gone elsewhere. My first experience of NFU, and probably my last.

I was annoyed to lose my hearing aid. Poor design to risk coming off with woolly hats or spectacle cleaning.

At a very stressful time my claim was handled in a very professional manner. Loss adjusters kept in regular contact and handled all paperwork and payments very efficiently.

Unfortunately we had a building destroyed by fire. NFU settled the whole thing and its providers managed the re-building efficiently.

A customer for years! - Tried to get quotes for a new policy on a different property on behalf of my wife NOT buy the policy - just get the quote to compare options and reduce wife's admin burden as she works during the week and was refused to be quoted - even if telling them I wanted the quote - was then refused again. I reiterate I was obtaining proceed NOT taking the policy or signing any declarations VERY DISAPPONTED pathetic blocks on efficiency

My car insurance was due for renewal and i normally use the compare sites but since NFU are not on these sites i thought i would find out what they would charge for cover so I filled in their online form, i received an automated email back to advise that someone would be in contact with me, i waited a few days but they never contacted me so i went with another company in the end.

When I collected the Courtesy Car I was told that it was covered on MY Insurance Policy and when I checked my NFU Certificate I was shocked to learn that it was ONLY on 3rd party Insurance, I confirmed it at the Lancaster Branch and on enquiring I was told I could have extended the cover beforehand to Fully Comprehensive at an additional fee, but the Registration Number of the Courtesy Car would be required beforehand, which is not easy. If I'd known that I’d have asked for them to collect it. So, had I written it off I’d have to pay for it. I’m not sure many people realise that. Consequently I limited the use of the Courtesy Car and kept it in my Garage to minimise the risk until I returned when my car was complete. The reason I was shocked was when I borrow a Courtesy Car from the Service Department of Pye Motors the SAME Company that is covered on THEIR Insurance Policy.

After the upset of the break in,as soonas I cotacted my local branch every thing just got into gear and any questions answered quickly and dealt with efficiently.
