I have shopping at Newegg since back in the days of Tiger Direct. They are my go to place. Great prices and great customer service.

Buying direct from Newegg, I've always gotten quality products that match the listing. On the rare occasion a product was defective, Newegg's return policy was reasonable and easy to work with.

Just been using Newegg since it was first around. Stuck to it out of loyalty. Always been a great place for my computer parts.

Sold me a $500 piece of electronics which was delivered to the wrong address, and told me they were closing my claim unless I proved I had not received it. No assistance offered or insurance option on their shipping. Absolute worst experience I have had as far as customer service.

I've been purchasing PC components from Newegg for over 15 years, and never a problem.The other items I have purchased have worked great as well.

Newegg's ordering process is transparent and delivery is always timely. Prices are reasonable as compared to others.

When you dial Newegg's customer service number, someone always picks up quickly. Same for its online chat service.

It took a while but, it resolved my return issue with a laptop that did not live up to its stated specs. I was quickly refunded and purchased another laptop that one of the reps recommended to me. It had all the features I was looking for and for even a cheaper price.

I've been buying hardware from newegg off and on for the past 20+ years. I've NEVER had a bad experience buying from them. Shipping is always fast, they constantly offer 'package deals' which generally include either free or discounted item(s). My last order included a Ryzen 9 5900XT, and I got a free MSI AIO CPU cooler with it. That alone was worth $70.

The only reason they have such a low rating anywhere is the fact that just like ebay and other sites allow 3rd parties to sell on their platform.

Newegg makes it simple to filter results to only show what NEWEGG sells and fulfills.

When you buy from 3rd parties --anywhere online-- you take the risk of either not getting anything at all, or the wrong items altogether.

I have always been happy with Newegg the past 15 years or so I’ve been buying components. I see there have been issues with some but I have not had problems. I’ve built maybe 10 systems with their parts Hope they continue as they are

I’ve always trusted Newegg with all of my large computer projects and I realize they sell much more than just computer components.

Computer came properly protected. The only disappointment was that the description was missing one detail, but that didn't affect my use of the computer.

I used to think Newegg was a great company, but in my experience they have gone completely downhill. I came back here to see if things had improved, and honestly, it seems like they have gotten even worse. Back in 2019, I bought an RTX 2080 Ti along with all the parts for what was supposed to be a high end gaming PC. I spent around $3,000 on that system, and I ended up having problems with defective parts. The computer gave me problems for almost a year before it eventually became unusable. Today I have two completely new high end PCs, and pretty much all of the parts from that old build have either been sold or thrown away. What makes this even more frustrating is that I had been a longtime Newegg customer. Over the years, I have spent around $40,000 with them on PC parts and electronics. I was not somebody who made one purchase, had a bad experience, and immediately complained. I gave this company a lot of business. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend Newegg to anyone building a new PC. I regret spending as much money with them as I did. If you are shopping for PC parts, I would recommend looking at places like Micro Center or Best Buy instead. I simply do not trust Newegg the way I once did, and I do not believe they operate with the same level of customer care that they used to.

All my purchases this year (2026) have been shipped on time and received as advertised. Some prices are a bit high compared to Amazon as Amazon has the same item at Newegg's price and some times lower. However I much more prefer Newegg's way of listing products, it's much easier on Newegg to find what you're looking for than Amazon.

I hate that there isn't a zero star option. I ordered all of the parts for a new PC and when they all finally arrived, I started assembling them only to find that the NEW 5070 that I ordered was an asus 660 from 2012 and a MOTOROLA charger! I sent it back with a picture of what was in there and theydenied the return saying the same thing that I told them! After fighting for weeks with different customer service members they denied me time after time! Finally I escalated to a supervisor who told me the best option was to do a challenge back, which I did, and they contested it accusing ME of the fraud! Then I followed the next advice and tried asus themselves and they said it was supposed to be newegg refunding too! After all the runaround finally an employee said they would check the serial numbers for any history of returns and then he never reached out again! And in the middle of all this, they kept asking if I FILMED MYSELF UNBOXING IT. So after the runaround, the delivery company being blamed, ME being blamed, and ASUS being blamed, instead of refunding me my 800+ dollars, they refused accountability and stopped trying to help at all! I read online that they're doing this frequently now! So now everyone I talk to about gaming and computers will hear this cautionary tale and I will make it my MISSION to cost them more money than they STOLE from me!

I will never purchase from this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I've been doing business with Newegg for 20 years. They always have the best selection, good prices, easiest to find parts on the internet. Delivery has been very prompt. Returns were handled quickly and fairly.
