Our dog needed Achilles stabilization surgery to avoid a detachment, and our local vet recommended MVS. At MVS, Ben and his team took exceptional care of both our furry friend and us. They provided thorough and considerate explanations and treated our pet with genuine compassion. Post-surgery, their continuous follow-up support was reassuring and accommodating. They also handled the insurance process directly, ensuring everything was swiftly resolved without any hassle. Though I hope you never find yourself in this situation, should your pet require care at MVS, you can be assured that they will be treated with the same love and attention as their own pets. Their service is absolutely faultless.

We brought our little dog Morris here with a very deformed left leg.
Had an initial assessment then onto MRIs and he's now 2 months post surgery.
As a family we are astounded at the level of care and expertise we were given. Nothing is too much trouble for this team of kind hearted, knowledgeable staff. Being a jack Russel we know Morris wasn't the easiest of patients but the staff fell in love with him and treated him like 1 of their own.
He was kept in overnight, given plenty of updates about his care (we felt completely included throughout) I did call quite a bit with various questions or concerns and I was met with nothing but a friendly response and sound advice.
Our little boy now walks so much better! Everything is in alignment and his new little gait is perfect.
Steve (the surgeon) was so friendly and approchable and went into great detail about the procedure, we were just in awe of their work.
We've been so worried about the risks of leaving his leg for later in life but looking at him already we know surgery was the best thing for him, his shoulder no longer juts out, his paw stays flat on the floor (and apart from being a little bored with the recovery restrictions) all in all he's happier in himself.
Thank you to such an amazing bunch of people from Steve, the nurses, reception staff and all involved in Morris' care we really can't thank you enough ❤️

From the very first consultation, the team were professional, friendly and clear in explaining everything. They kept me informed every step of the way, from the pre-operation checks right through to aftercare and follow-up advice.

The operation went smoothly and the aftercare has been excellent. It has been reassuring to know that any questions or concerns are answered quickly and in a way that is easy to understand. The level of communication and genuine care for Pickle’s wellbeing has been outstanding.

Manchester Veterinary Specialists have been exceptional. After a well-known veterinary chain performed leg surgery on my dachshund incorrectly, I was left deeply concerned and unsure where to turn. Thankfully, I found MVS, and the level of care I received from the very beginning was exceptional.

Ben, the surgeon was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and clearly an expert in their field. They took the time to explain the revision procedure in detail, answered all my questions with patience, and made me feel confident that my dog was in the best hands.

The revision surgery was a complete success. My dog has been significantly better since — more mobile, more comfortable, and genuinely happier in himself. The difference has been amazing to see.

Our cockapoo bayley was referred to MVS for surgery, I can not thank Anna & the team enough , Anna was amazing from start to finish , she throughly went through the process of surgery and aftercare with complete empathy and completely explained every step in detail , the staff were all amazing keeping us updated especially Adam, Charlotte & Lisa and you could tell they genuinely cared , absolute first class service

When our dog required achilles stabilisation surgery to prevent a detached achilles, we were referred by our local vet to MVS. There, we were in the care of Ben and his team who couldn't have done more - not just for our pooch but also for us. He and his team explained everything carefully and thoughtfully, and showed genuine care. Following the surgery the follow up support was constant, reassuring and nothing was too much trouble. They dealt directly with our insurer so everything was settled quickly and without issue.

I hope you never need to, but if you find yourself taking your pet to MVS please rest easy knowing they love and look after your pets like their own. Cannot fault any aspect of their service.

disgraceful, they are owned by CVS LTD, Greedy owners and clearly care more about money than the welfare of their patients and clients

I had money was taken from my wages that I had worked hard to earn with no explanation. I have been harassed by DWF Law for over 12 months now over an invoice vet bill with MVS(cvs) which I was told was settled with money from my wages, had been used to cover this. I am now being told this was not the case and the money was taken from my wages without any communication between myself and CVS for a supposed overpayment which I have never been made aware of.

I just want to grieve for my beloved and dearly missed pet and I have found this entire ordeal quite distressing, I am very disappointed as CVS is supposed to be a great company to work for but after the way I was disgracefully treated as an employee along with this terrible ordeal, I feel that is a misleading statement.

I cannot gather the words to describe how broken hearted and unhappy I am and feel that this matter has not been handled in an empathetic and professional manner, nor has my wellbeing been considered.

MVS vets have been amazing. The service is very professional from start to finish. They were so good with our little dog who had to undergo bi lateral Tplo surgery. Everything was explained clearly and professionally and in a way you could understand. The surgeon even rang me twice with updates on her surgery. The after care was also very good again the nurses rang with updates and information.Not forgetting the friendly receptionist s.Excellent vets .Thank you for looking after our dog so well.

Cannot say enough good things about the MVS team. Our springer puppy Kali has had a difficult first year, with three HIF operations and cancer. She is now on the first week of her rehab following 12 weeks of tough restrictions to hopefully provide a lasting solution. Throughout the multiple issues Kali has had, Steve and Stacey have been wonderful. Caring, understanding, supportive but also tough when necessary (telling us in no uncertain words what Kali was allowed to do even though she and we were desperate for her freedom!). Kali has had the best care from Steve, Stacey, Ben and he whole team. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a second opinion or who is referred by their vet
