Took my cat to amity yesterday at short notice as he had injured his front leg. Treatment options explained fully with costings.
Been registered nearly a year with this practice and on their essential plan. It is fabulous value at £26 per month for unlimited consultations, annual vaccinations and routine flea/worming treatments. Peace of mind to know I can access efficient, professional and cost effective service locally. Thank you to all staff at amity I can't recommend your services enough. 😊

We have been taking our Pekingese dogs to Amity for a few years now and every time we go we are so thankful that we found them!
Teddy, our 14-year old boy, used to hate going to the vets.
He would bark continuously, and very loudly, when he knew he was going. He would not stop barking until we left.
He was very distressed during every visit, which was also distressing for us.
We also felt like the vets were very clinical and not approachable at all.

The difference at Amity is the polar opposite.
When we call, there is a familiar voice at the end of the phone from a helpful assistant that knows who we (and our dogs) are.
They do their best to fit us in, even at short notice.

We took Teddy to Amity yesterday with concerns about his eye. He is already on medication for his back legs (which are showing improvement).
Ordinarily, this would make Teddy particularly grumpy and hard to deal with.
However, our visit was completely stress-free.
Teddy was calm and relaxed on the way and during his visit.
He let the vet administer eye drops and inspect his eyes.
No barking, no grumbling and no snapping!

This is what we have come to expect now at Amity.
What once was a big ordeal for us and our pets, is now a genuinely pleasant experience.
Dr. Lennon is very approachable and caring towards our pets and also ourselves.
He explains the conditions very clearly, giving us options as to how our dogs could best be treated.
We can ask as many questions as we like, and never feel rushed during a consultation.

We have the essential membership package (£26/month), so our consultation was free, all we paid for was the medication.

We are confident that we are getting the best care possible.
Pet care is never cheap, but we feel like we are getting amazing value.

Hi i have a Staffie Cross Female dog, and she turned 17 on the 13th January 2026. she is registered to Amity Vet in Brunnel Road, Newrton Abbot.
recently i had to take Tilly to see Lennon because she was having problems, Tilly is now wearing Dog Nappies she did not like them at first, but is now gradually getting used to them. i am more than happy with Amity Vets and have found Lenno and team to be very caring, and i would like to say that i would never go to any other Vet. i would like to advise anyone who has a pet and care for thier pets .
if you need a vwet why not contact Amity Vets in Newton Abbot, they do a good package when it comes to flea, worming claw trimming, as well as examininations, they charge twenty five pounds this covers all i have put in here and can save you a lot of money over the year, when you concider prices charged by other sellers. i have been registered at Amity for some time now and cant think of a nicer place to take any pet.

We only trust Amity as our vet for our pug, as they are very caring. A couple of months ago, they diagnosed a cancer lump on his back leg and sought to create a treatment plan (including surgery). As a family we were for all the right reasons blown away by what a brilliant treatment and aftercare (with testing if spread or not)… the area with the surgery was very awkward, the result though was a demonstration of the skill and care. Even his recovery now is excellent. We are so thankful towards all the staff at Amity, as a team including handling the insurance claim - made the whole experience very special and caring, during an upsetting time in our lives learning our dog had cancer. Thank you Amity - as you contributed to him being cancer free even to this date

I am so pleased I’ve moved my old boy over to this Vet’s. The initial consultation for £95 was so in depth, he checked everything. Everything was explained clearly to me and I was asked what I wanted! Highly recommend. Dr. Lennon was great - all the staff were.

Recently took 2 of my cats in for their health checks prior to registration
completion. They are very nervous and was a battle getting them into their carriers for the short journey but on arrival was greeted by their amazing team who went over and above with kindness and consideration for my cats. Was offered a quiet safe place for the cats to come out of their carriers and roam around to adjust to the setting and settle down. They accommodated the child I had with me with some activity sheets and snacks and also gave her a lovely goody bag to take home with her
The vet was very good and thorough with the check up and very informative throughout. The health checks were £90.00 each which I thought was good value. Would highly recommend the practice, it’s a whole new level in pet care

These vets are amazing wouldn't trust anyone else with my baby great dane and their customer service is second to none

Our dog had to have major surgery owing to a blockage in her intestine. It was a worrying time for us.
Thanks to the care and skills of Dr Lennon and his team our dog made an excellent recovery. During the time that our dog was unwell Amity staff also did everything possible to help me by submitting the insurance claim on my behalf and by talking through concerns with me at the weekend by phone when the practice was closed. Something I have never experienced with other vets.

We swapped to Amity as we wanted a vet practice that was more personal and empathetic, where it felt like the staff cared for our pet (and us). I chose Amity because this seemed to be their ethos from the information on the website . Wow did they deliver! I was almost in tears as we left because of how positive the experience with our first dog had been- she had become vet covid during covid due to an extremely prolonged time when we weren't allowed in with her at another practice, within a few minutes of being in the room with Dr Lennon she had settled and wasn't in the slightest bit stressed. We felt informed and cared for by every member of the Team we met- Maddy even walked us out to the car . I have no hesitation in recommending Amity and, in fact have done so to family and friends. If you're thinking of changing do it!

If you love your cat as much as I do then Amity vets is definitely with out a doubt is the place for you to take your little family member whatever it maybe.
We've used them numerous times, surgery, check ups, advise (even out of hours), and for medicine for my cat. Each and every person at Amity vets are amazing, so friendly, caring, professional, calm and know what they are doing. Yourl be sure to learn something useful when you go as well.
We are now proud family members with the full membership at only £25 a month and it's worth it.

After Henri went walkabout and is returned, we need to restart her antibiotics. Although it costs £100 every 9 days, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat her. We trust Dr Laura, it was immediately obvious that she knows what she’s doing

Excellent service, very knowledgeable.

Our Horsefield tortoise Henri woke up with her eyes swollen closed and was obviously very sick.
Amity made us aware that the cost of a consultation would be £180, but they could see us the same day.

Reptile vet Laura was very thorough and obviously very knowledgeable about tortoises, which isn’t very common, there are other vets locally that will see our tortoise, but they couldn’t see our tortoise the same day. We did speak with one other practice who said they could treat a tortoise, but it was quickly apparent that they weren’t specialists.

Henri is now on a month long course of antibiotics and doing very well.
