Shocking service from start to finish.

This company supplies the windows for new-build homes, and replacing one defective window has somehow dragged on for over four months. Not because it’s complicated but because the company appears completely incapable of organising a simple appointment.

They require you to take a full day off work to wait for a service engineer. You do exactly that, and then they call to cancel, if they call at all. Most of the time you’re left sitting at home wasting a day for a visit that was never going to happen.

Even the explanations don’t match. You’re told by phone the glass is broken and needs replacing, then later the office claims the replacement hasn’t arrived, wasn’t ordered, or doesn’t exist depending on who you speak to. It’s impossible to get a straight answer because nobody there seems to know what’s going on.

This has cost me multiple days off work for a problem that should have been solved quickly. The issue isn’t the window, it’s the complete lack of organisation and accountability.

If you enjoy waiting around for appointments that only exist on a booking system and chasing people who contradict each other every week, this company will be perfect for you. Otherwise, avoid entirely.

Warranty claim and the whole experience was great, from reporting the problem, to getting it fixed. Great service and feel very satisfied with Munster team.

Barry was extremely helpful. He was prompt professional and thorough in his approach. He identified the issue with our door and was able to rectify the problem there and then. This appears to have solved the problem so far.
Unfortunately the initial contact was a little negative with very little understanding of the difference between the warranty and our consumer rights. This was resolved however, following several e mails.

Bought a new build that uses Munster to fit windows, I would not use this company myself for a few reasons.
1. French doors not even, they attended to fix, struggled to see that they was not even then asked me if it actually caused me any issues, like not being even was a problem.
2. They did not take the protective film off when fitted.
3. Don't get fitted if you wanted good sound proofing - you can hear everything outside.

The company accepts requests in advance and where possible will arrange a date and time for visit from a Senior Technician. Customer Services and Workmanship. Barry Harrington is very experienced, professional and honest in his dealings, remarkable work. Thank you Barry!

If you want poor quality windows and doors fitted in your property you've found the right place. Our new build developer in Wales use this company to supply and fit to all their properties and all I can say is one star is one too many! Double glazing you'd swear were left open with how clear you can hear the traffic and people outside your window. The quality is poor, from cracked glass to blown sealed units with condensation between the panes, small bead media being left in between the panes when manufactured to external windowsills being cut over 30mm to short and fitted then making up he shortfall with white mastic and trying to shape it to the windowsill and being an acceptable standard..... And wouldn't replace them. The developer only said they'd change them as a gesture of goodwill after firstly agreeing to have cover boards fitted to hide the abysmal workmanship! I can only assume from other reviews that this is a common thing and the developers must be having a good deal from Munster. If your buying a new build property check if its this company who fitted the windows and get a snagging survey/inspection carried out before moving in! Poor is an understatement!

Nothing was too difficult for Gregg who changed the misty glass in two bedrooms of our apartment. He also fixed a leaking Juliet balcony door and loosened a tight handle of the door. A very willing and approachable young man who we highly recommend.

I am a very satisfied customer, Katie was very helpful and efficient with my door issue, she kept me informed at all times. The fitter Gyunay was also very friendly and left the area very clean. It’s also very good to know we have a product that will be supported in the future. Thank you Munster.

I had a small problem to sort out with 2 of my 3 new windows. I made an appointment with Munster Joinery and their fitter, Adam txt me 30 mins before he arrived to confirm that he was coming. He arrived right on time. He was very friendly and professional and sorted the problem out within 10 minutes. He even attended to my other window, which was not showing signs of a problem, as a precaution. Great service - over and above!

Horrific company. Avoid at all costs. Windows and doors incorrectly fitted. Paid upfront. Refuse to fix or even answer calls and texts. Would give zero stars if possible. Cowboys. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent product and first class service from design through to installation.

I was really impressed by the technician who attended. Friendly attitude, considerate and more importantly, fixed the problem very quickly.

Jordan arrived promptly and quickly and efficiently replaced the window in question for us. He was polite and extremely helpful, an asset to your company!

Great customer service, product and installation.

A really positive experience with Artur the engineer’s service.

We bought a house with bifold doors and sash windows. The bifold doors were not working very well and one of the windows was jamming.

The company organised a service appointment that was convenient for us. A really knowledgeable engineer, Artur could not have been more helpful.

We didn’t think the bifold doors would ever open properly. They were stiff. The lock didn’t line up, the insulation had some issues etc.

Artur got to work and systematically went through everything. He cleaned and lined up the doors and lock properly. Same systematic process with the window.

It’s been a week and everything is working really well so far. We love our bifold doors now. Such excellent after-care service.

I would recommend this company based on the look and feel of their products and their after-care service.
