SCAM. dont waste your time and money

Edit, no I will not change my review score. I DIDNT receive any lights AT ALL. Further more I’ll keep it up and keep advising people, forums, groups and anyone I can to stay clear of this SCAM! The date I ordered I clearly stated in another review that you had taken down, so why would I change my score?. Until I receive a set of mk4 escort headlights that I paid for, nothing will change.

Be warned do not use this Company as you will never get any products you order, MORETTE has now closed down the HSBC bank account in Milton Keynes & has a new bank account with the Metro Bank PLC that also is in Milton Keynes.

MORETTE also has a new Company called MORETTE PLASTICS LTD Company number 11048162 opened in November 2017. LATEST NEWS: - MORETTE PLASTICS LTD are now subject to a compulsory strike-off notice posted in the London Gazette dated 29/01/2019.

Due to the fact that MORETTE.COM have complained to TRUSTPILOT that my review was violating its User Guildlines please be aware that this review has had sections removed, if you have been affected by MORETTE (I.E. sent money but received no products as I have experienced) then please use TRUSTPILOT as a platform to make other people aware of your experience with this Company.

November 2018 update, please note that - MORETTE are back & at a new address which is In Mills Way, Amesbury, Salisbury, looks like our money they has received without supplying any product has allowed them to set up in a new location, BE WARNED Don’t get caught like a lot of us have DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY IN ADVANCE YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ORDER.

If MORETTE decide to honour my order & supply the Headlamps I ordered plus paid cash for upfront via bank transfer then of course I would be very glad to review this situation again without them having to complain via TRUSTPILOT, Message to MORETTE - JUST SUPPLY THE PRODUCTS YOU HAVE BEEN PAID FOR IT,S AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

07/03/2019 update, as you can see contact was made to me on January 28th 2019, have since been in contact with MORETTE to confirm my purchase also as you can see from a reply from MORETTE, as it went passed the 7 days dispatch date advised I contacted them again on February 11th 2019 & was promised dispatch at the end of that week as “had to remake some plastics” still no headlamps as yet as we roll into March 2019.

Update 17/06/2019 MORETTE have in the last two days informed Trustpilot that my order Is completed, this update is to assure all the people that have read my review & Trustpilot that I have not as this date received my one & only order placed with MORETTE, hopefully Trustpilot can obtain proof of delivery, this I know will be impossible as I have not received my headlamps.

My experience was similar to others described here: the owner of Morette responded quickly to my first contact with a quote and payment instructions, I sent the money, and his acknowledgement of receiving the money was the last prompt communication I ever got from him. He was happy and quick to accept my money for two morette kits, but from then on it was just an endless stream of broken promises, claiming he was going to send out the kits "next week" or "next Tuesday", mixed with stories about how the parts were in a different warehouse in another country, he would be travelling there next Wednesday and put the kit together, he couldn't send it because his uncle just died, because his brother just got in a car crash, because he had important meetings with Ford, because his wife doesn't know he's still running Morette and wants him to close the business, etc. Credit where it's due, his explanations were very imaginative and vivid at times, but eventually he just stopped responding at all.

I stayed up late and made a few phone calls to his bank and his local police department and was informed by both that there is an effective nationwide fraud reporting system in the UK called ActionFraud (do a Google search for ActionFraud UK and it'll be the first hit). It took me about five minutes to file a report; it's an easy online interview that automatically categorizes the fraud correctly. I provided full information including the amount of money and the date it was sent, the bank details, the recipient's name, etc. I got a confirmation email the next day with my case number, stating that all reports are read and reviewed and forwarded to the appropriate authorities for action. That was a few weeks ago, and last night I got another email saying my report is under review by the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau and once that's complete it'll be sent to a police force and/or law enforcement agency for further action.

I included the link for this thread in my report. The police officer I spoke to, who pointed me at the ActionFraud reporting site, said if I'm aware of others who have also found themselves similarly situated by Morette, to encourage them to also make reports.
