Customer service is appalling

Customer service is appalling. Been waiting over 12 days for a refund, They take payment quick enough, but don't refund .They recieved my returns on the 29th January and I am still waiting for my refund. I do not recommend buying their shoes or boots online.

Unacceptable delay

Had to return order due to fault. Used Evri service as instructed. Although I sent proof of posting to Moda, they would not initiate a refund until the item reached the warehouse. Nearly two months later the refund has not yet reached my account.

Faulty boots sent to me, terrible customer service. Returned boots nearly 3 weeks ago and still awaiting a refund. Be careful about buying from this company.

Faulty boots and poor customer service

Purchase boots which arrived faulty. I have sent an email but had no response and tried phoning customer services. Advised the wait wax 3 mins after 15mins waiting they cut me off. First time ordering from this company very poor customer service I won’t be ordering from them again.

No answer from customer services

NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, A SCAM!!
I purchased some shoes online. Faulty and already used items sent in tattered used boxes! No response from them at all. No postage to return the goods either. Reporting them to Trading Standards; the business should be shut down. Terrible. You have been warned, do not buy from this company.
Still no refund, all items returned and return confirmation from EVRI. Moda in Pelle never reply to emails. I've raised a case with Trading Standards to investigate this company; fraudulent, needs to be shutdown! Date today 22/02/2026 still nothing to date. Scam! Several emails sent! Ticket number (286206). Raised issue with Resolver as well as Trading Standards.

No refund after waiting a month

No refund after waiting a month. No response from customer services to my emails. Website says refunds in 10 days, but I returned these on 5 Jan and still no money back. (I used the returns postal platform and have proof of receipt back at the companies depot) Tried to send a message in messenger only for an auto message telling me to email, which I have done.I am getting very concerned and am about to contact my card company to report this.
I see this company went into administration a month ago 🤦‍♀️

Disappointed & Angry

Same as everyone else! Returned shoes at my own expense and despite emails and calls....nothing!!! No refund and although several calls and in a queue, then cut off or lines closed before 3pm. Wish I'd read reviews...never again

Company won't refund

Shoes were uncomfortable and arrived in a tatty box - they had clearly been sent out and returned a few times. So I returned them - at my cost. I have since emailed customer services three times with the proof of delivery back to themselves and they have not replied so I am still waiting for a refund. Looking at other reviews I can see this is standard practice. What with the original cost of delivery, and the cost of a tracked return; this has been an expensive lesson - avoid this company!!

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service. Returned item as requested. Despite two emails which the company have not had the decency to respond to and a further phone call - i am still waiting for refund. (Which is outside their agreed timeframe) Never ever will i buy from this company again

Still waiting for a refund

Getting very concerned I still haven’t received a refund after returning shoes back on 5 January, as you state to allow 10 days for a refund.(the return was tracked and I have proof of return). I have tried to contact your customer service by email, but no reply. I have tried to contact via messenger but this gets bounced back.

Customer service

Moda in Pelle e-mailed to inform me that my local store had closed which I was upset about as it was a lovely store with friendly, helpful staff and beautiful stock. I had a gift voucher which I couldn't use online so I e-mailed customer services. Beatriz replied and converted my voucher into an e credit and I was then able to use it online. Excellent customer service.

Shoes OK

Shoes OK - unique design, only worn a couple of times so can't comment on quality. The boxes they arrived in weren't in great condition. Scuffed and one even had tape removal marks which took some of the paper off.
Terrible returns process - not only is the cost on the customer, delivery delays even within the required period result in you being bounced back between courier and the company.

I was going to buy a few more pairs but will now look elsewhere. The difficult returns process may be worth it for the price - to some, but not me.

I thought I had found a fantastic bargain but no

I thought I had found a fantastic bargain but actually it was just a real rip-off

The boots for advertised is worth over 110 pounds a pair so I ordered two pairs of different types

The description on the website made it very much sound like they were made of leather and there was absolutely no listing for what the real material was

When the boots turned up they were synthetic

Quite nice certainly not over 100 pounds per pair worth

The cost of returning makes it completely impossible for me to want to do that

But I guess you get what you pay for don't believe the hype the sales are a rip off don't bother

It's also impossible to review the items on the website so I can't actually warn other purchasers of the item to be careful

Edit: I have had no response through the Moda customer service email help ticket number 282518

Moda have reached out here on trust pilot and asked for the reference above

Yet again there is no way to contact them directly so I'm hoping they read this edit

Shocking customer service

I ordered 2 pairs of boots online, 1 I love and the other I wanted to return!
I went to the Belfast store to return, however it was closed down but yet on the website it still shown as trading.
I called customer services and was advised I needed to return via the post. I retuned and you revived back on January 20th.
I contacted customer services via email who advised you had not received back.
I asked you to track the return and refund.
Your customer service is non existent, you have stopped replying to any emails and phone lines are not working to call you.
How can i get a resolution? The communication is shocking from Moda in pelle and so behind the times for 2026!

Rubbish communication and returns

Nice shoes- but this this time they didn’t fit so I returned them- they have got my parcel the day after I sent it, as it was tracked mail, and 10 days in I have heard nothing despite e-mailing them to chase.
Not good enough - at least an email -like many companies do, to say they had received it and my refund is in progress
Won’t order on line from this company again now I know communication and returns are below standard

Finally got refund but took way too long and you took too long to reply to review. After this experience I won’t risk ordering again -over 3 weeks for a refund from receipt of my return, with no communication-it’s not worth it

I am extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed. I received my suede boots and discovered that both boots were moldy throughout straight out of the box. This is completely unacceptable — not only are they unwearable, but it raises serious concerns about storage conditions and quality control.

For a brand like Moda by Pelle, this was shocking. I expected far better quality and care, especially for suede footwear. Opening a brand-new order to find mold on both boots is honestly unacceptable.

I would not recommend purchasing unless quality control and storage issues are addressed.
