I have used Daniel footwear before and I’m always impressed by the great experience I have with them. Good communication, excellent delivery speed and good price point. On this occasion I was surprised to find that they were stocking my favourite Russell&Bromley trainers at a very affordable price so I snapped them up and I’m absolutely delighted with my purchase. Would definitely use Daniel again in the future.

Sent me a pair of “new shoes” which…
Sent me a pair of “new shoes” which appeared well worn/damaged. Sent a replacement pair that were again not great, some scuffs. I complained and to be fair they gave a discount of 20% but being in retail fashion myself I felt the quality control is very poor. First pair of shoes should never have got sent out. They were somewhat blasé about them which I find disappointing and would be hesitant to buy from them again.

I’m sorry to hear that your experience left you disappointed. While we were pleased we could offer a resolution you were happy to accept, I completely understand your comments regarding the condition of both pairs received.
As discussed previously, due to the nature of suede, some light brushing or handling marks can occur even with careful storage and checking. However, I do appreciate your point that the first pair in particular should not have reached you in that condition, and I apologise for the frustration and inconvenience this caused.
Your feedback regarding our quality control has been noted and will be passed on internally, as this is certainly not the standard of experience we aim to provide.
We do genuinely appreciate your custom and your honest comments, and I’m sorry this purchase did not reflect the level of service you would normally expect from us.

Birkenstocks were marked

I usually have no problem buying from this company and have bought a few times but on this occasion the Birkenstock Arizonas arrived marked on footbed and with what looks like white glue on one heel
Very annoyed as I bought to go on holiday and have now had to return them.
The process of returning was such a faff as well.
I contacted them with photos showing the marks and stating they had been returned.
A few days later I received a mail telling me how to return them! Hello? I told you they had been returned.
They offered me a replacement of the same pair. I have told them to either refund me or send me a different style Arizonas as I don’t want to risk the same pair being sent back to me!
I shall update as I am still waiting to hear from them.

I completely understand how disappointing this must have been, especially as the sandals were intended for your holiday.
I can confirm that your refund has been processed in full this morning, and depending on your bank, this should be back with you within 3–5 working days.
I’m also sorry for the confusion around the return communication — I appreciate how frustrating that must have been after you had already sent the item back. The advisor had interpretated the email as that you wanted to return, not that you had. We apologise for the confusion.
We do take your feedback seriously, and I’ll ensure this is passed on to the relevant teams to help improve both our quality checks and communication going forward.
If you do decide to shop with us again, we’d be more than happy to help you find an alternative pair to avoid a repeat of this experience.

Fly London Suede boots
I love my Fly London Suede boots! Tracking was great and yes I did have to pay Tariff fees, but not a problem. Boots delivered in quality time and in perfect condition. Will order again from this company. Thankyou. .
