In 2021 I completed construction of two houses to the passivhaus standard. I installed 250l Mixergy tanks in both houses that are heated using the internal immersion heater. I benefit from off-peak electricity at 7p/kW from 23.30 - 05.30 through Octopus Intelligent Go and each tank draws just under 3kW for about three hours costing less than 70p. The tank is easy to programme through the app to set the electricity tariff and I can always see how much hot water is in the tank both on the app and on the visual display attached to the tank. When I go on holiday I switch off the tank from the app and have observed that it takes several days to cool highlighting how well it is insulated. Mixergy were very responsive throughout the design/orderning process and when one of the third-party supplied pressure vessels was noisy this was replaced without argument.

We installed a Mixergy tank as part of a major overhaul of the heating, new boiler and installing PV’s.
At first I was struggling but that was because an internet glitch, but since then super happy with it.
Knowing our kids will soon leave, it made sense to have a tank right for the house size but being able to heat just 50% or less once they are no longer here is so much more efficient.
Not cheap but you get what you pay for and we should be building for the long term.

I love the fact there is always hot water on tap and it takes minutes to heat up. It is great for the environment as you only heat up what you need. Have had the system for 3 years now

The system delivers all the heating and hot water we need. Coupled with the solar panels keeps the cost down to a minimum. As it's an all electric system we had the gas meter removed so saving on the standing charges.

The tank itself when working is great. However the customer service when reporting the tank not heating has been abysmal, and that’s being polite. Tank been out of action since Saturday 20th of February and unable to contact Mixergy over the weekend. Spoke to customer services three times during the week and am now going into the second weekend still with no hot water. There has been absolutely no desire or attempt to call me back to offer a resolution or support. Quite shocking really. Have faith in the product but no faith whatsoever in the customer service. Really poor.

Absolutely amazing service from Rob in the Technical Team. He really put himself out and went above and beyond to resolve an installation issue for me. He’s a great asset to the team. Thanks again.

Been appalling from the minute I moved in to my new home. Tried to speak to the builders about the hot water not heating up and when it does I only get 20%.

*** UPDATE***

I spoke to one of the engineers today and they came out same day within a matter of hours and sorted the issue. It took him less than 10 minutes. Abbas also showed me a few tricks with the tank to make sure I always have hot water too in case of an emergency.

Im giving two stars as when the tank works its great. Customer service alone would be one. Our tank has failed. Only source of hot water two young children in the house. Reported fault Thursday, Friday no further to help and closed over the weekend. Very dissapointed customer with a compeltely non functioning 1 month old expensive tank. They are apparently too understaffed to help!

Whilst it was a little disappointing that our iHP X cylinder broke down after just over a year's use, requiring a new control board, the repair experience was excellent. From phone support given on Boxing Day to Danny attending and fixing the boiler a couple of weeks later (we had some hot water all along via the immersion element), it was a very good service experience

Kaz was really helpful sorting my hot water tank out which wasn't connected to WiFi, even when it was connected still had issues but he managed to sort it out from his end.. everything is good now 👍

After extensive work done on my property, including a new mixergy water tank, 5 months later it ran into issues.
After initial contact via a video call to run me through some tips to try it was then decided to sent a representative from the company, Daniel arrived with me after 4.5 drive,having driven from England, I live in Wales.
He and the company then ran very extensive tests,and replaced the main heating component, as the error was showing for that,some parts of the motherboard,were also changed,then we were finally up and running,with hot water 💧 that is until the next day. I ran into the same issue not running the schedule efficiently, with hot water,so yet again Daniel come back and after many tests it was determined that it was the fault of a solar power cable attached that was giving the tank false data.
So the actual mixergy tank had no issues it was an outside element.
Could not fault Daniels customer care,he and the company went above and beyond, to fix the issue. Travelling hundreds of miles for parts etc.

Had the tank for about 4 years. Only real problem was the tank wouldn't reliably stay connected to the Internet because Mixergy used a Powerline type system. On their advice I bought a Nano mini router and this solved the problems. Best thing is how fast it heats up water plus reduced bills.

Had a Mixergy tank for over four years with no issues very economical and easy to manage

This system works perfectly for our home an efficient effective solution to your needs we simply check water levels via the app boast if needed however as it’s learned how and at what times we use hot water we rarely need to do anything
The once we needed assistance they were quick to respond solving the problem with ease back up and running within hours

We have been running our mixergy cylinder with a heat pump and solar panels for around 3 years now. We have a 300 litre cylinder together with an Eddi solar diverter diverting power to the immersion heater when less than 3.5kW is surplus, and operating the heat pump when that is exceeded.
The great thing about the mixergy cylinder with solar power is that, even when only 10% hot water is available, the water at the tap is hot. In our previous setup with a conventional cylinder the water would have been barely warm at this point.
When the heat pump is used the efficiency is high, so our expenditure on hot water is minimal.
Technical support, when needed for teething problems, many caused by us, has been superb. Problems have been quickly and courteously solved, and when, on one occasion, a part was needed it was shipped quickly without a quibble.
An excellent product from a helpful company.

Fantastic kit keeping our home warm since 2 weeks ago. The 200+ litre tank is connected to a heat pump so has allowed us to eliminate our boiler - so no direct CO2 emissions from our home anymore, which is a great sustainable achievement for our family of 4. On top of the heating, we have got rid of header tanks in the attic so now we have more storage space than before. The Mixergy tank givers us better pressure for our showers than those tanks. All starts for tech ology!

The team was super helpful, helping us decide what was right, guiding our installer and super available either on the phone or visiting the site.

regarding my Mixergy plus care plan and ask if someone could please contact me and advise why the annual subscription was not taken in March as had happened in previous years and which I paid on 8th November to make sure that we are covered
heard nothing back after 24 hours so contacted them again with an assured that someone would come back to me. Again no attempt made to contact me

I just wanted to know why payment was not take in March as I did not cancel if it was an automatic renewal of receive a reminder to pay in March.
If I would have had an issue with my tank out of contract what would the consequences have been.
Was the tank remotely serviced and checked in March

I need answers to these questions

but still to date no clarified regarding our situation with them unknown, And they still have failed to respond to my request for a call baclk

The impression given is that they dont really care about their customers once the have sold you the system and customer aftercare is non existent
