I reported a fault with my 4 year old appliance.
I reported a fault with my 4 year old appliance and within 4 days they removed the defective item and replaced with a brand new one and plumed it in free of charge.
All this happened after just one phone call to them, absolutely brilliant.
The delivery men and plumbers were exceptional on the day.
Sun-Amp thank you, absolutely amazing service.
Fits under the stairs and just works
My SunAmp Thermino 300 xPlus is great. It fits neatly under the stairs and means that we didn't need to give up a corner of our bathroom to an old fashioned hot water cylinder. It never feels hot (so isn't losing heat like a lot of hot water cylinders seem to) but always provides plenty of hot water for the taps and showers.
I was surprised at first that there was no app for the device, but then realised that there's literally nothing you need to manage. The heat pump has a schedule for hot water heating (in the middle of the night when it's cheapest) and so long as that's set, I just forget about it.
NO ONE ANSWERS, THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR TECHNICAL SUPPORT
A fourth total failure of the units!!!,
but in the previous one only two weeks ago, they only sent some parts, nobody showed up or took responsibility -our maintenance person replaced them and they worked again for a few more days, but then both units failed completely again. First one failed and we notified them, we did everything possible to get an engineer to come and fix it until just 4 days later the other one failed.
Catastrophe, all reservations were canceled and the guests were already checked in. The hotel was closed for 4 days with enormous financial losses and still no certainty that an engineer will take action; because this company definitely "doesn't have technical service personnel.
" Don't buy their heat pumps, nobody takes responsibility for them and on top of that, they've been failing one after another since their installation just two years ago".
Shocking customer service after catastrophic failure of battery
I have a 5 yr boiler, clearly still under warranty. this leaked not only water but the contents of the battery all over my ceiling. the wooden struts are covered in salt, there is a significant damage. We had to cut a large whole in the ceiling due to it bowing. It failed so catastrophically we had to have it remove the boiler to prevent further damage even after it was isolated. I have rung several times to try to get someone out with no reply, messages taken and assurances given for a call back. I will be getting the damage sorted out and sueing them. My whole ceiling needs replacing, I have no hot water and we are coming up to winter and christmas...........shocking customer service. I wont be allowing a replacement to be fitted
Repair replacement
We have a sunamp boiler ,for many years it has been working great, ideal for our needs very happy with it.
The other week it failed and leaked, still in 10 year warranty, phone on Monday morning no hassle ,engineers call later that day 2 days later new boiler installed and working . Any damage compensated fully within 3 days. Excellent customer service. Happy customer
My Sunamp 300 has sodium leakage and not working, but…
I bought a sunamp 300 heat battery and installed in May 2023. The machine was running for just 2 years and then stopped working on 9 June 2025 with the problem of solidum leakage. It is promised a 10 years warranty but the authorised dealer that I bought from went into liquatation in 2024, just a year after my purchase.
The failure of the machine causing no hot water for the house, children and elderly were suffered. I contacted the manufacturer Sunamp and they made swift replied and have arranged an engineer to come and replace the faulty machine in 3 days and hot water has been restored and resumed. We are highly appreciated for Sunamp arrangement and the quick response to address the issue. I hope the new machine can run longer that the faulty one. Thanks a lot.
The jury is still out on the Sunamp at…
The jury is still out on the Sunamp at my house. The hot water is great but it seems to charge itself at random and as soon as even a small amount of hot water is used. I'm going to get a timer to see if that helps, but I certainly don't think I'll get the 20 showers some people have mentioned. If anyone has any advice I'd be grateful - I'm not convinced it doesn't lose heat in cold weather.
Update - now have a timer installed. My daughter had a shower today when the battery was fully charged: next thing I know it's down to nothing. Yes I have a boost button but I thought it was meant to store a whole load of heat?

I have only just had an air source heat pump installed with the sunamp heat battery. My problem is that the hot water is just tepid - I measure it at a constant 38-39 degrees. The installers have done everything they could with the central control, with no result. If I want a reasonable bath temperature I have to boil 5 or 6 full kettles to top up the temperature. I'm hoping for someone at Sunamp to sort this out, but it has been almost ten days since I reported the problem and so far no result.
Great product
We’ve had our Sunamp now for a few months and we are over the moon with it. We had poor pressure before and couldn’t have a bath. Now we have no issues with pressure and loads of hot water. We’ve found our bills have come down too. We used their recommend installer ‘Paris Plumbing’ and he was great throughout the process. We recommend both the product and Paris.
Great company
I’ve been working along side Sunamp now for a few years as an engineer/installer. It’s a great product and a game changer in the plumbing industry. Our customers have loved the simplicity and performance compared to previous gravity systems. As a company, they support installers too, so I’ve been confident in tackling complex installations. Highly recommended as a customer and installer!
Awful after sales service
As some have written here, indicating a systemic issue, the afer sales service and communication is weak to non existent.
4 full days with a failed unit, and we are still to hear from the "contractor" to whom sunamp passes the buck, and who seem, by our experience and others, to have no incentives to resolve the issues.
I worked in business improvement, and there are clear signs of failing processes, leaving customers without the service they purchased.
I would recommend avoiding Sunamp, whose product seems subject to failure.
Find another supplier.

PLEASE BE AWARE- if you have a problem with your Sunamp, they will not send anybody out to help even tho it’s under warranty - PLEASE note they don’t tell you this before the purchase - shocking customer service
Shocking service so far. Poor communication. Product is under warranty however they’re not willing to send anybody out to help to resolve the problem.
They are making this really hard despite me explaining I haven’t had HOT WATER FOR 2 days and I have a newborn coming out of hospital today!

Just amazing, this is truly a five star device
Just recently replaced an old boiler tank with a heat battery and its truly amazing, we can actually fill a whole deep bath now and have enough battery left to use for other things! This tech is truly the future, and I can't get over how amazing it is. Only feedback is that the user manual needs a complete overhaul, I spent the initial night worried it wasn't working right because I was expecting more blinking lights (they came on after a full charge) and the noises initially were a little disconcerting on its first charge and nothing was mentioned in the manual. But one very happy customer, totally worth the money.

Bought a 210e Thermino in June it saved…
Bought a 210e Thermino in June it saved me £500 in oil over the summer months heating all my DHW from a new PV system. Very simple installation one pipe in, one pipe out, simple electrical connection and controlled by a £37 timer, we charge it it with 4.5kwh a day now in autumn with 16.5p offpeak electricity. Piping hot water all day .
Really pleased with our Sunamp Thermino…
Really pleased with our Sunamp Thermino hot water system. We have 2 Thermino 150s, linked to our PV/battery system using Eddi controller. The Therminos are compact and neat, and sit in a corner of our plant room. Any "spare"electricity from the solar array goes to the Therminos, and our experience after 2 months is that we always have enough hot water, even after a couple of days of grey skies.

Yes I will say it's not cheap but if You are looking for greener hot water or a maintenance free hot water solution then this is the best
Just a small expansion bottle and a mixer but this is such a small tidy solution it's a no brainer

Sunamp PV Battery
We lived in a rented house that had a Sunamp PV battery installed with solar panels too. This is a really good product and helped us reduce energy bills throughout the year! Sunamp customer service are very helpful, whenever I had a query about the product they would always reply with a detailed answer. I would highly recommend sunamp and would look to use them in the future!

The size of the unit makes it even easier to fit into a small space and it’s really simple to install. We are currently removing an unvented cylinder on an ASHP installation to replace with a SUNAMP to boost the efficiency of the system -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
