Order and delivery all ok, however, the fire pit had 2 gas leaks, one on the regulator and the other on the gas control valve. Filled in contact form on website and then emailed. No response from either, also, you cannot call them. I eventually had the faulty items replaced by a gas engineer at my own cost.
Zero customer service. AVOID

Can I just say that I recently ordered some dampguard refills which arrived broken. I contacted the company and have been extremely impressed with the speed and quality of their response. Which was way above and beyond what I requested, and indeed their obligations. So thank you very much indeed and I will be looking to purchase again very soon

Ordered 2 Wicker Chairs after searching for a specific size. When these arrived they were no-were near the stated size! I would have thought that this contravenes the TRADE DESCRIPTION ACT.

It took hours of effort from four people to erect it. Most of the fittings did not
My son, who eventually managed to finish what had become a mammoth task. The bar across the back of the seats, had been cut too long, which threw everything else out. DO NOT BUY FRO THESE TRICKSTERS

Useless. My order was placed 15th June and has been around the houses with their courier of choice XDP. It's been out for delivery, then back to the depot, then out for delivery.... It then went back to the depot where it sat for 4 days. Then delivered. Only... not to me it hasn't!
You get no response from Minky (5 days and counting). There is no phone number that I can see on their website. XDP say on the answer phone they don't talk to individuals, and I emailed them 8 days ago and had no response.
So to summarise. Order placed 15th June, 11 days later who knows where it is.
Avoid at all costs and buy from other retailers, who use reputable delivery companies and respond to support queries. Using Covid-19 as an excuse at this late stage is a bit poor; most delivery companies are operating normally and most items arrive in 2-3 days just fine.
I'm now struggling to try and get a refund.

Do not buy anything off these my patio heater came without a remote and 3 weeks later it’s still unresolved. The customer service is woeful and despite requests to speak to someone in charge my requests have been denied. I have written evidence of this and would never consider buying anything off these. Please do not buy from this company

I was initially impressed with the Fire Mountain website and the speed of response, especially since my BBQ arrived quickly during lockdown. I did have delivery issues with the courier, but I can live with the odd hiccup.
When I opened the BBQ and as I unpacked the components, there was a small metal chunk which after some checking, was identified as being the corner of one of the grill.
I contacted Fire Mountain and there customer service messaging was positive and that the Parts Team would send out a replacement grill. From then on the messaging has been at times friendly and courteous, but After 4 weeks of chasing, I’m now no longer receiving replies. I have had no choice but to use the original grill which - no surprise - is going rusty where it’s broken.
Companies like Vale Mill (trading as Fire Mountain for this range) are so so short sighted. I had initially been raving about the build quality and cooking aspects of the BBQ and a friend asked for the supplier details. I gave the model and supplier. He has now bought his nice new BBQ, but a different one ... I managed to get to him in time with my words of caution.
Fire Mountain (Vale Mill), please take your customers seriously and do the right thing by them. They’ll then do the right thing by you!

Ordered bbq on 12th April. Piping and gas cap arrived 4 weeks later .... Still waiting for bbq. Nearly £200 taken for rubber pipe! I think not! Unable to contact customer services at all via phone or email.
Will be writing to trading standards and watchdog as it appears to have happened to a few people.

Ordered a garden parasol given delivery slot. They delivery came whilst I was out and they never left it in my safe place but took it back then gave another slot and never turned up. I tried to get in touch through Amazon but they didn't reply so I cancelled the order for a refund . I purchased another elsewhere and 10 minutes later received a message from xd saying that my order had been collected for delivery. Amazon has cancelled it and requested the refund. This company is really crap.

Refund requested from Paypal (glad I used them rather than paying direct). Worst service I have ever received in over 15 years of buying online. Wish I had read the previous reviews - certainly wouldn't advise anyone to use them in future.

Ordered and payed for a gas BBQ from these clowns via eBay, fast and free delivery!!!
They use XDP for shipping. My first delivery day was a no show, as were the following 4 promised delivery dates. Customer service was slow and unhelpful, as if they didn’t read my messages. 3 weeks later a small package arrived with a meter of gas pipe. £230 for a meter of rubber pipe, didn’t seem a good deal to me!?
Requests for the BBQ or a refund yielded nothing, until I involved eBay, which then produced the refund.
after thousands of online purchases from all over the world, Vale Mill and XDP combined were by far my worst ever experience.
