Went above and beyond to sort an issue, which was not of their doing but was the fault of the courier who failed to deliver at the correct address. Would definitely order from this company again.

Missing part
Purchased an ironing board when opened it had one of the feet missing. Contacted customer services and they said they would send a replacement out… received it within a few days. Very happy with their quest to put things right.

I purchased a mnky ergo ironing board from aldi it was just over 2 years old and th board had started rusting I contacted them and after sending them proof of purchase and pictures of what was happening they sent me a new ironing board.

Minky Heated Throw
I have purchased 2 of the grey heated throws before Christmas and they are fantastic. I use mine while chilling on the sofa and my daughter uses hers on her bed at night and she has been sleeping much better. They have kept us very warm and cosy during the cold winter, brilliant quality and wouldn't be without them now. I hardly switch mine on as it is very thick and fleecy and I find it warm enough without plugging it in however worked brilliant a few weeks back when the temperatures dropped to -9.
Don’t value website customers
Uses a rubbish courier service that does not have a website that works let alone let you change delivery times or add preferences despite the claim that it does. The lack on investment in a decent delivery service shows Minky clearly do not value customers that have tried to do the decent thing and support local businesses. Never again and I will think twice about buying Minky products from any outlet in future.
FAULTY DESIGN - dual clothes line
FAULTY DESIGN.
The dual retractable clothes line sold by MINKY is a great idea in theory. HOWEVER there is a design fault on this product ( Minky customer services admit this is a common fault) After a few months the lugs for tightening the line break off. Even though they were gracious enough to replace one unit the second one they sent failed in the same way after a few months , they refused to assist on the latest failure NOT GOOD AT ALL MINKY .PEOPLE Do not buy this shoddy clothes line or you too will regret it.

I bought a Minky ironing board from Amazon unfortunately it was missing a ferrule from one of the legs, so I emailed Minky and the very helpful customer service sent me a replacement at no cost to me. I call that excellent customer service.
Avoid
Avoid - ordered BBQ and added a weather cover. Delivery date passed, no BBQ, one week later after a number of emails, XDP delivery turned up with a delivery of a 19KG package … the driver handed to me with one hand, as it WAS NOT 19kg, it was less than 0.5kg, a plastic bag with a BBQ cover in it. Both XDP and Minky (aka Vale Mill, aka, Fire Mountain BBQ, etc) marked ordered as completed & delivered on the web page links. Emails continued, 2 weeks later, still nothing. You cannot phone them without paying premium line rates!! Some internet work and I found a number and got through to Vale Mill production division (nice lady) who gave me a customer service number - which I called only to get recorded message, which told me that there was no one here, please send an email. Pathetic customer service. I then did some more sleuth work and found the Directors of the company and also a phone number for Sales Controller Robert Winstanley, (this app won’t allow me to post his email address and telephone number - look them up on internet). Directors are various members of the Fuchs family (Martin John Spencer Fuchs and Julian Fuchs) as well as Alan Stuart Donnelly. Perhaps this point of view will attract some attention, or perhaps my voice message to Robert Winstanley, or perhaps even my original email messages to the Customer Services agent!! Who knows!
No customer service
I ordered a lounger cushion on ebay. Informed it was despatched by Royal Mail. Tracking number turned out to be Hermes and they were still awaiting parcel 10 days later. No communication from seller so I cancelled order and got a refund via ebay. Not to be trusted!!
Service started well, now out of pocket with no response from Minky
I bought an ironing board new. On first use the iron stand melts. They ask for it to be returned for testing and agree to replace the board and the iron.
They collect the ironing board (after one failed attempt which I assume is the fault of the delivery company). Finally the board is collected but no sign of my replacement. With no sign if I will hear from them again (after days of no replies when previously service had been very good) I am now out of pocket and will need to replace iron and ironing board. Two weeks wait is far too long, especially if no explanation is given.

Outstanding Customer Service - can't speak enough of the response..... Bought a Minky Ironing board 18 months ago approximately £65 worth ( thinking you buy cheap, you buy twice - right? Last week something sheared off on the mechanism that keeps the legs in place, and I dropped a moaning email to the Guys at Minky. They requested pictures, details and also proof of purchase. Although I didn't have such proof I was able to provide approximate details of where and when I purchased. Within 24 hours confirmation that they'd replace it - received this morning.

Bought a Minky Classic Ironing Board and on delivery found several issues with it and when their MD intervened he stated that I had purchased a sub standard item from a non-Minky seller! Minky however honoured their guarantee. So beware when buying products, know who the seller is and that the item is genuine.

Received a message saying it had been dispatched on 14th June.
Enquired as to where it was after 10 days. Agreed a refund on 25th June
Finally received a refund 3 days later.
Shouldn’t have enticing offers if they can’t fulfil them. Equally shouldn’t offer 24 hour delivery if it isn’t possible.
Terrible customer communication. If they’d only managed my expectations it might have worked out better.
Very disappointed and certainly wouldn’t recommend.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Do not touch anything sold through these people with a barge pole. Below is a timeline outlining our experiences to date:
7th April: my wife orders a Fire Mountain Kamado BBQ
19th April: Kamado arrives, short of 4 castors. This is notified immediately.
20th April: I am contacted and advised that there are no spare castors in the UK and these would have to be sent from China (No UK spares? Alarm bells start ringing)
14th May: After 3 weeks of silence, I eventually receive two castors in the post. I notify them immediately using their online chat.
19th May: I'm told via email that the 2 remaining castors would be sent from their Manchester Warehouse, but they couldn't tell me when....
27th May: I receive an email saying that a parcel as delivered on 14th May - am I still short of 2 castors?
YES. I. AM.
You cannot speak directly to these people. I found a helpline, but all you ever get is a recorded message saying there is no-one available, and to try again later before it hangs up. You cannot leave a message.
I have found details of Vale Mill (Rochdale) on Companies House. I have emailed them again asking one of their Directors to give me a call but I am still waiting to hear from either Martin Fuchs, Julian Fuchs or Alan Donnelly.
A conversation with one of them would at least let me understand if they are nasty or just incompetent.
I'm not holding my breath....
