Numerous emails sent and none replied to. Farsical money grabbing website, the cheek of these people to charge money even though theres a shortage of childcare in Irland and people are on their knees trying to find someone. Very frustrating and waste of time.

We found an excellent nanny through Mindme. In fact there were 3 or 4 nannies that applied and were equally as qualified as the nanny we chose. Would recommend the service.

Avoid this “service” at all costs!
€25 had to be paid before I could read two applications for a job I had advertised. I replied to both and received no reply from either. Starting to wonder if these people are real or is it very much a case of false advertising! Don’t waste your money on this site.

POOR SERVICE, NOT WORTH A PENNY
Such a poor experience ! Firstly , I had to buy premium Subscription in order to see emails from candidates that replied to my ad, then it still didn’t work despite the payment and me emailing them about the issue. Then they double charged me ( I was eventually refunded the 2nd payment ) and promised free 2 weeks for when my subscription didn’t work. I was fed up and I thought I have already cancelled it but , I was charged again for a full month and was told I should had cancelled subscription before the particular billing day and email them to avail the 2 free weeks. Bottom line : asked them to delete the account.
MindMe: poor service, old adverts , and very expensive subscription that isn’t worth the service!
Do not recommend !

Our records show that you subscribed twice to our service on 2 separate dates. We informed you of this and refunded the double payment and cancelled this double subscription immediately. We advised that you had 1 active subscription. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. There was a delay in your account activation due to the 2 subscriptions created on consecutive days. We offered you two weeks free access to the site as a gesture of goodwill as you had no access for a short period of time. MindMe.ie takes customer service very seriously and has many thousands of satisfied clients. We appreciate your comments and continually review our procedures to make MindMe.ie as user friendly as possible

I paid for subscription because it said you get notified of jobs before they are posted, guess what?...NEVER got notified yet i see new jobs everytime i'd log in, been a member since 2019 even now not a single job i got from there, sometimes its jobs that were posted in 2020, why MindMe cant remove jobs once they filled is beyond me.

Hi, this is not what a carer subscription is for. As a carer, you can subscribe to have your profile brought to the top of Search in your area. You do not have to pay a subscription to get notified of jobs in your area. This is free. All you have to do is tick the box 'Receive Promotions by email' and 'New Mail Notification' to ensure you get notifications. We also recommend that you fill in your profile fully and use our Search function to look for jobs in you locality. We have thousands of carers registered with Mindme and postions are filled daily. Accounts that are not logged into after 3 months have their adverts turned off. We do remind all members to turn off their adverts when positions are filled.
MindMe.ie takes customer service very seriously and has many thousands of satisfied clients. Our support team are more than happy to assist you with any queries you may have. Just email the team at support@mindme.

Absolute joke
Absolute joke! Waste of money and totally frustrating. Have sent literally dozens of messages to potential “childminders” over the last three months and less than 10 have replied despite the messages being read! At least three of the responses were to saw they were no longer available but didn’t know how to change or remove their profile. The “featured” candidates are the worst for replying. Almost 3 months in with 3 months of subscription paid and I haven’t found one prospective childminder out of seemingly 100s in 10km radius of my home!

Lack of candidates in the country but poorly managed by mindme
I understand the lack of candidates in the market at the moment is exceptional, but the company (mindme) needs to update and modernise its website and approach. I contacted over 20 candidates and while some messages had been read and not replied to, most messages are not even read. This highlights the fact that these candidates are no longer available for work. Also alot of the candidates said they had found employment and are still on the site today. Replying and saying (we cannot monitor if candidates have already been hired etc is not good enough) a simple contact email sent to all applicants to say if they had found work would help with this. As I said, I understand this situation is very unusual with the lack of applicants and I understand the companies position but I think this could be monitored better.

We do email all carers with unopened mail and request that they respond to mail as soon as possible. If mail is not responded to, profiles are turned off.

Positions on Mindme are filled very quickly, We have thousands of carers registered and at this time of year it is very busy and a lot of roles are filled very quickly. The most successful adverts and those that fill positions quickest are the ones that contain a lot of information about the position offered and the times required etc. We also find that using the search function and contacting as many suitable carers in your area greatly enhances the success rate.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Thanks for your feedback, we do appreciate it.

Hi Leonhard, MindMe.ie is a subscription service which allows you to gain access to our extensive database of Caregivers. You can create an advert for free to evaluate if your Caregiver position attracts candidates. If your advert attracts candidates and you would like to view mail, you need to subscribe. When you find a caregiver you would like to explore further, you use the Mindme.ie secure private messaging system. This allows you to ask questions and to request more information. There are different membership plans which can be availed of and which can be cancelled at any time.

Very Frustrating
Very Frustrating. You pay a subscription to access details of the best carers in the area that are listed as ‘available’ for the times you need - but out of 6 carers I contacted, exactly 6 were NOT available. Some said “I have not used that system in years” ???? But the mindme folks say they delete old profiles. That is simply not true in my experience.
I have some sympathy for the company insofar as they can’t regulate every carers availability but then they should not charge me - the customer - for providing completely useless and outdated information. If you are going to take peoples money, provide a bloody service for it!

Before you subscribe to a subscription, you can register and set up an advert for free. You can search our database for carers in your area to see if there are suitable candidates for your needs. Carers can apply for the position you are offering too. It is only when you wish to make contact with prospective carers that you need to subscribe. All subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
We also do remove inactive accounts periodically and do also ask members to remove profiles if they are no longer needed.

Having cancelled my subscription with MindMe back in August I was a littke perplexed as to why I was still getting charged for the last 2 months. I emailed their support service and got a prompt reply from Emily. Having confirmed my email address and mobile number she confirmed my subscription had in fact been cancelled and promised to help me get to the bottom of why I was till being charged. It turns out somehowI had registered my email twice but with a small mistake that was identifying me as 2 separate people ( possibly through logging in via Facebook ). Emily got to the bottom of this for me very quickly and explained what happened. I was feeling quite frustrated that I had been charged but she kindly offered me a courtesy refund. I was very grateful for this and she cancelled the duplicate account. She actually made my day. Thank you very much for acting so promptly and efficently and giving me a good user experience with the site you deserve a payrise :-)

A lot of outdated adverts
A lot of outdated adverts. Below is a copy of a msg sent through contact page of their site, the only way of contacting them.
I am very disturbed by the fact there is no membership cancellation information on your website, no telephone contact number and no direct email address, neither is there any way to renew a subscription manually.
Together these points suggest a cavalier service with a money grabbing attitude.
Please take note. My subscription is cancelled. I require you to confirm in writing to me by return to the above email address, that all of my payment details have been deleted from all your computer and data storage facilities including any backed up or retained information. Failure to do so will result in a complaint being lodged with the commission of data protection. UPDATE... THE REPLY BELOW IS UNTRUE

Old adverts make up bulk of jobs.
I have emailed this company on numerous occasions in regards to adverts that are out of date. 2 years out of date and a huge amount over 2 months old.
It has the potential to be good.

Poor Customer Service
Poor Customer Service, outdated childminders profiles, and most importantly you're being ripped off at any opportunity.
Had several issues with their 'AUTORENEWAL' policy and was charged even when unsubscribed from their precious services.
I strongly suggest to DELETE your account details or call your bank, as I was noticing my account credited by them out of nowhere, well after I cancelled my subscription (3 months later)
DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Hi Alicija, we are sorry to heat that you are not happy with the service we provided and the support you received from our team. When a subscription payment that was due fails, this means the amount due to be paid was uncollectable or declined from or by the individual's Bank. The payments system makes at least two further attempts for that month to take the payment from the Bank account. The system continues to attempt to claim the payment due until the payment is made.

My review on childminders on this site is not good.
I was let down with the first minder that I got, she texted me at 6.30am to say she was sick and couldn`t make it that morning, it was her first morning. I had to drop my child to my mothers house and was late for work. The second minder I got let me down twice in a few weeks, again I had to bring my child to my mothers and was late for work again.

We do encourage all our users to obtain as much information at interview as they can and try to get to know the prospective carer as best they can and to check references by phone. Unfortunately on rare occasions the arrangement between carer and care provider doesn't work out. Mindme is a gem of a find on the net!! Our creche was closed, So we needed to urgently find a childminder to look after the boys the process was simple and quick.
