Efficient service always
I have been a Medicash member for over 20+ years and I have always received an efficient service whenever i have had made a claim. During that time Medicash have moved with times to the benefit of its membership. I would recommend Medicash every time

Great Benefit, perfect for Small Businesses
I brought Medicash into our small business and it’s been a brilliant benefit. Everyone has commented how nice it is to be able to expense dental, optical and alternative therapies.
The process for making a claim are easy and the app is a brilliant and easy to use. Our team have always been paid within 7 working days without delay.

They will always try to decline a claim
The app is easy to use but I find Medicash frustrating to deal with. They will initially decline around 80% of claims (in my experience) by asking for additional, obscure, information that is not on the list of required info they give you when you make the claim.
I feel as the claims are often low value this is a deliberate tactic reduce their expenditure as they bank on some people giving up.
For example, I recently claimed for a contribution towards a health screen. I submitted an invoice that provided all the information they said they needed. They then declined it because they wanted proof I actually attended the appointment. Jokers!
I personally wouldn't use them but get it free as an employee benefit so have no choice. Eventually they will pay out but an irritating customer experience.

Highly automated slick reimbursement.
Medicash is provided to employees of David Lloyd free (albeit as a taxable Benefit-in-Kind). I’ve claimed for a suite of dental, optician plus chiropractic bills and the approval plus payment reimbursement is very slick, so I’m very happy with their efficiency - which is quite unusual these days!

Claim not paid with no chance to appeal
I am very disappointed that some private blood tests I had were not covered. I recently had a biopsy at the hospital that my GP referred me to. The results were clear and it was determined that it was hormonal so was referred back to the GP. My symptoms were and are still ongoing, the GP was not helping so I was recommended to attend a private clinic for hormone tests. The results were abnormal and my GP has since repeated them and the results are even worse than before. Yet you refused to pay for the private tests when I clearly have an ongoing issue for which I am seeking advice from my GP. The clinic is run by medical professionals that also work in the NHS.
