I purchased a Pro package and they canceled it after 4 days

I purchased a Pro package for 280eur and after 4 days I opened the website and I had Free plan and no credits. I wrote to support 4 times and got no answer, why on earth they dont have a live chat support in 2026..

Support not resolving subscription downgrade request

I am writing this review because I have tried multiple support channels without getting my issue resolved.
My subscription was renewed as Premium+, but I only wanted to keep the regular Premium plan. My intention was never to cancel my service — only to downgrade from Premium+ to Premium and adjust billing accordingly.

I opened support tickets and contacted support, but instead of receiving assistance, additional cases were created while my original request remained unresolved.
I currently have multiple open tickets and still no proper resolution.
I would appreciate assistance from the support team regarding this issue.

Support refuses to disable 2FA - Locked out of my premium account for weeks

I've had a yearly subscription since the beginning of 2026. After the rebranding from Freepik to Magnific, I suddenly couldn't log in anymore. The reason: 2FA verification emails were consistently arriving 1–2 hours late, long after the code had already expired. I made approximately 50 login attempts over 2 weeks.

I contacted customer support and did everything they asked: I whitelisted the sender domain, the sending address, everything technically possible on my end. I documented all of it and sent it to support. Their response? They sent me the exact same instructions again. No acknowledgment of the information I provided, no escalation, just copy-paste templates on repeat.

The result: I am completely locked out of my premium account. I can't reset my password, I can't disable 2FA, because both require those same verification emails that never arrive in time.
For no reason, they refuse to disable the 2 FA from their side.

I am now in the process of getting a refund, because there is simply no other option. I've also seen similar reports from other users on Reddit, so this doesn't appear to be an isolated issue.

This is the worst customer support I have ever experienced. A platform that locks paying customers out of their accounts and then responds with useless templates is not a platform I can recommend to anyone.

Une pépite devenue ARNAQUE

Jusqu'à present j'utilisais Freepik en abonnement mensuel premium + sans aucun problème, maintenant qu'ils sont devenus "magnific" j'ai décidé de prendre l'abonnement annuel pour une raison evidente de cout, et qu'elle ne fut pas ma surprise de me rendre compte que nano banana pro 2K et vendu comme étant illimité, s'affiche egalement dans la plateforme comme etant illimité, mais me deleste de 75 credits minimum pour chaque génération d'image.
C'est de la publicité mensongère , c'est du vol pur et dur, et je suis actuellement en conversation avec eux pour régler ce litige,

my premium + subscription was renewed with missing credits. I contacted the support team, but no answers. I asked for a refound on paypal (of the missing credits only, about 10$), and then they suspended my account...

I paid for a plan in December, and my plan is showing FREE, i have a PREMIUM account, paid ANUAL!! Your support are not helping me and my team will take legal actions if this misunderstanding is not solved. I HAVE A PAID ANUAL PLAN AND MY PLAN IS SHOWING FREE!i will sure take this further if my problem and my account don´t show premium in short time. Fuckass support.

Ultimo año con Freepik, Adios

Llevo años utilizando Freepik, pero el cambio a Magnific de un dia para otro y sin aviso previo, ha sido muy a peor.
El buscador actual es mediocre tirando a malo, y se ha convertido en una herramienta que no sirve.
Sin duda mi experiencia despues de años va a terminarse con esta suscripción.
Pd: Un cambio así, deberia anunciarse y no cobrar igual las sucripciones, quitar servicios, y cobrar creditos de distinta forma a como lo has adquirido en su momento.

Was als Freepik positiv begann..

Was als Freepik begann, endet in Magnific.com.

Positiv zu bewerten ist die Weiterentwicklung, die neuen Modelle, Workflows und gute, einfache Bedienung und Übersichtlichkeit.

Das Konzept von unlimited Modellnutzung (bestimmter Bild und Videogeneratoren) ist der stärkste Vorteil der Seite.

Noch vor wenigen Wochen hätte ich 4 oder 5 Sterne vergeben.

Dann wurde aus Freepik Magnific und das Unheil nahm seinen Lauf. Performance am Boden, Bildgenerierungen um das 4 bis 6fache verlangsamt mit gleichzeitig steigenden Preisen.

Das ist für Projekte unzumutbar. Noch geiler der Service. Auf eMail gibt es nach Tagen die Antwort, dass man leider sehr viel zu tun habe, aber sollte das Problem noch bestehen, solle man bitte erneut eMail schreiben. WTF!?!

Fazit:
Sehr starker Beginn und dann radikaler Absturz.

This service engages in fraudulent financial practices. Initially, they offer a specific pricing plan that promises "unlimited" access to their services.
However, immediately after receiving payment, they abruptly alter the terms of this "unlimited" access—rendering it impossible to work effectively within the "unlimited" tier. They disable simultaneous generation capabilities, claiming that "your usage is too active." Furthermore, they make the "unlimited" generation process unbearably slow. Meanwhile, their support team offers nothing but excuses, all of which ultimately boil down to a single objective: pressuring you to purchase additional generation credits.

Never purchase services from this website. Never provide them with your bank card details (they constantly attempt to charge you amounts far exceeding what is contractually owed).

De hace un par de meses bajaron…

De hace un par de meses bajaron muchisimo la velocidad de las generaciones ilimitadas y muchas incluso dando error, no porque tiene problemas el servidor ya que si lo pasas a modo creditos si lo genera. Te obligan a consumirte los creditos aunque pagaste por cosas ilimitadas. A todos nos dan esas respuestas de chatgpt genericas que no resuelven realmente nada, como claramente nos pasa a todos y como probablemente me comenten a mi.

Extremely disappointed with Magnific billing issue — attempted to charge me 3X–6X more than my actual plan

I’ve been a Premium Plus user for a while, and my current subscription is around 10,350 PKR/month (~37 USD). Everything was working completely fine back when it was still under Freepik.

But today I got a call from my bank saying that Magnific attempted TWO different charges on my card:

First attempt: around 66,000 PKR (~235 USD)
Second attempt: around 42,000 PKR (~150 USD)

Both transactions were declined because I didn’t have enough balance in my account.

Honestly, this is extremely concerning and disappointing. My actual monthly plan is nowhere near those amounts, so why is the system trying to charge me 3X–6X more than my subscription?

And the scary part is: if I had enough money in my account, those payments might have gone through without me even realizing it at first. I would have seriously regretted that.

I don’t know if this is a billing bug, payment system issue, or something else after the transition from Freepik to Magnific, but this really damaged my trust in the platform.

Has this happened to anyone else recently?

We moved to the annual plan this…

We moved to the annual plan this afternoon. In the evening, we suddenly got an email saying that the subscription had ended and we were locked out. They put us on the free plan, and we moved from the Pro monthly plan to the Pro annual plan, which is their highest paid plan.

Now that we are on the free plan, we do not have premium support, so we are stuck here at work, waiting for them to get back to us by email.

Unusable Platform — Cancelling Until Fixed

Ever since the company was acquired by Magnific, production has slowed down dramatically. Before, even when the unlimited limit was reached, up to 6 videos could run simultaneously in the queue. Now it constantly throws errors and arbitrarily limits you to 2 at a time. To make it worse, it occasionally displays messages saying Kling is overloaded and suggests using other tools which is absurd. They raised prices while degrading the service. The platform is in a terrible state right now, practically unusable. The site crashes throughout the day, slows to a crawl, and sometimes tabs become completely unresponsive. For these reasons I am cancelling my subscription and looking for alternatives.

I don't care about your bot response. Fix the system. What I used to finish in 1 hour now takes an entire day.

Seit Magnific, sehr stark nachgelassen

Ich war mit freepik sehr zufrieden. Seitdem magnific es übernommen hat, sehr schlecht. Ich habe mit banana 2 in 4K extrem gute Bilder gemacht. Jetzt sieht banana 2 in 4k grottenschlecht aus, schlechter als in 2K und ist dennoch teurer. Banana pro in 4k sieht auch schlechter aus wie in 2K. Einfach nur unbrauchbar. Ich habe den Support drei Mal angeschrieben, keine Reaktion. Kündigung geht heute noch raus.

Una estafa

Más allá de que los modelos fallen, porque la IA siempre falla, es que falle la herramienta, se consumen los créditos aun cuando la herramienta ha fallado. He usado la herramienta una semana con cuenta premium y ya no tengo créditos, no porque los gasté, sino porque da error la generación y los créditos se consumen. He creado ya 3 tickets y no tengo respuesta. Ahora que no tengo créditos, debería poder usar los modelos "ilimitados", pero no. No puedo usar la herramienta hasta "mejorar el plan" y pagar mas de 200 euros. Es una estafa.

Avoid at any costs

This thing is becoming a legitimate scam. There is nothing 'magnific' about this platform. You pay the subscription but you don't know what you are buying, they are not transparent at all. When asking how many fast gens there are for Premium+, this is the answer that I got: Speed on Unlimited varies with demand and how much volume is going through your account. It still works, generations just take longer when usage is high. Credits are full speed any time and your plan includes them, that’s the fastest way to work when you need it consistent. DM us your email support if you want us to take a look.
I am pretty sure this is against the EU law, but I will have a proper look into this and will report then.

Lately, a slow gen for on image was about 10 minutes on average for NB2.

The support is almost non existent, with a reply 48-72 hours after you make the enquiry.

L’outil devient de plus en plus mauvais …

L’outil devient de plus en plus mauvais depuis le rachat : outil qui bug, abonnements qui ne cessent d’augmenter, ils prétendent que les options sont illimitées, mais en réalité vous avez une limite de génération rapide capée à 1000 par mois.

Une fois cette limite passée, vous attendez entre 10 min et 30 min pour une seule génération d’image.

Un bon outil qui devient mauvais avec le temps, et les outils IA les plus intéressants qui étaient dans l’abonnement Plus commencent à être uniquement disponibles dans leur option Pro à 2 484 € / an.

I have payed for a anual subscription…

I have payed for a anual subscription plan at 23th of March 2026, I have used the plan for a few days and at 29th of March my account got switched back to free without any reason. I have tried to reach the support multiple times but not a single word for a week already. I am really furstrated of this situation as I was counting on the servrice for my work and it's not just I lost the benefits of my subscription but also I lost days of the plan it's self.
