I used this service for two months for a college class because this was the only authorized service to use.

MacInCloud was hands-down the worst user experience I have ever encountered. I cannot think of a single remotely positive thing to say about this service.

I had a problem with connecting, crashing, or freezing in the online portal every single time I used it.

The support for the site is also either non-existent or will take at least 3-4 days to even send an email to begin asking you what your problem is.

STAY AWAY!!!

I had a great customer service experience. The product experience was great as well. This is my go-to!

This is a great service for iOS development. The managed server comes pre-installed with all the common development tools and frameworks, like Android Studio and react-native. However, I needed a beta version of Xcode installed and the front page said you need to contact administrators to install software, but it didn't mention you can't install beta versions on the managed plan.

Complaints solved fast by Customer Support via Ticket System. I am happy with results.

I've been using MacInCloud for over a year. I needed it for an annoying Mac-only program. The system is easy and cheap ($1 per hour) which you can top-up every 30 hours.

All fine and good... Until you top-up and they set up a SEPARATE server. This means the programs you have on the original server no longer work (and my program is limited to one device at a time!).

I asked them REPEATEDLY to switch the top-up amount from the second server to the original one and... They completely ignored me. I asked for a refund... No response.

I'm looking for a different service now and I STRONGLY suggest you do the same.

I honestly did not expect a cloud version of MAC to be this good. I will be using their services regularly. The process which they have in their website is very seamless and you get your Mac as soon as you pay. Other services manually provision a server for you and it takes time. But these guys have it all automated. You get some rdp files and you can open them and enter your credentials and then enjoy using your Mac. PS: it's not just command line, you get the full Mac desktop remotely.

My laptop hit the out of support date and I really needed a fast way to test and deploy an app for an old client. This was a very affordable option. Getting set up was quick and effortless. The remote session was fairly smooth. Certain settings do not save between sessions like my team's provision so I had to log in to my apple ID each time I launched xcode in a new session but this was not a big deal.

The Mac worked perfectly for our requirement of connecting our local Visual Studio, and debugging a Xamarin iOS app.
MacinCloud support engineers provided excellent assistance during set up.

Simply perfect. A great low cost alternative for an otherwise very expensive ecosystem. Used it mainly for software development purposes, served me well for many years. Definitely recommended!

In search of a Mac to do some troubleshooting for a customer, I tried calling various places but nobody could help until I found MacinCloud! I am not really a Mac guy (Linux / Windows, normally) but they provided exactly what I needed at a great price and support and saved the day, I would highly recommend them.

Cheap 24h trial - and the only company that I could find that has 1h slots for doing small amounts of work, such as signing certificates/profiles and submitting apps to App Store. It was a good speed and I did not have any connection issues. They have a range of installed programs including Xcode. (Please keep the 1h pay as you go prices low and I'll continue to use it)

This is a really nice service for doing mac development on Windows. I'm not using it because I got an actual mac but in the future when the money's not so tight I'll probably sign up again so I can do development stuff on Windows.

I signed up for PAYG plan and used it for about 2 hours. I made sure I logged off every time. Next day it shows I've used 23 hours out of 30. Nonsense. So I'm downloading my work from there to use a different company. If they think I will just top up after being ripped off they can think again. Am tempted to try a chargeback on my card for these crooks.

I tried out their monthly server plans for < 10 hrs. I cancelled very early on as the experience was laggy and very frustrating even though I have a 150mbps ethernet connection. They charged me for the full month even after contacting them for a refund since i used less than 10 hrs of server time.

MacinCloud customer service rocks! I'm a PC user who wanted to test the Vellum software, and I'm so glad I gave MacinCloud a shot rather than just ruling myself out as a Vellum user before I even tried it. Any time I have had an issue, MiC's support team always replies within a day, sometimes even the same day, and they're always knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them!!

The service I've received from the team is always spectacular. Program updates happen quickly, and any queries I've had (which have been few and far between) have been answered promptly and efficiently. Thoroughly recommend MacinCloud.

I subscribe the PAY-AS-YOU-GO plan. but first time login is already stuck at "waiting for session" screen. I keep waiting for at least 30 minutes and I cannot properly log off from there, so all I can do is just close it. So the hour usage counter is still counting on and on and that are ALL THE WASTE. because I can't even use it, I cannot go in desktop but stuck at "waiting for session" forever yet I cannot log off. until I raise ticket to request reboot after 2 days. So quota is finised at that time. SO it seems like everything is passive and manual operated, you all should keep spamming support request ticket to force them do something before it gets too late.

They do exactly what their name implies. They provide you a virtual Mac. The service is easy to use, they provide good customer support, and it works well. I don't know if it does everything a "Macspert" (Mac Expert, LOL) would want but I am a software developer and needed a Mac for testing and learning since I spent most of my career in the Windows and Linux worlds. It did everything I needed it to do and was very reasonably priced. When I ran into a little issue they were very quick to help me out !

I have been a pc user for decades so Apple is a whole new world and a bit confusing to me. What I've found in custumer service is willing thorough help promptly in a day or two. They, like Andrew, are patient, professional, and friendly and solve my problem everytime. I am much impressed at the consistent high level of customer service I receive thru MacinCloud.com.
