Taxi did not show up
I pre-booked online a taxi from Lynx Taxis to pick me up from Macclesfield railway station. The taxi did not arrive and, half an hour after the scheduled time I had booked the taxi for, I called up and was told there were no taxi drivers in Macclesfield that they could send to me. What is the point of me pre-booking a taxi if one is not going to show up for the time and location I booked it for? I cancelled my booking and booked a taxi with another operator which arrived only a few minutes later and took me to my destination.

I've never saw a taxi company that takes money from you account when you sign up. £1.01 was taken from my account for no service. That amount should be deducted from your first booking. I won't recommend signing up with them.

Saturday the 6th took a taxi up to gawsworth hall, asked the driver would I need to book for my return journey at 10pm, he said it wouldn’t be a problem.
Concert finished and I called cab for myself and 2 friends to return and was told 20 minutes. After half hour I called back and was told another 20 mins. After further half hour rang back and was told it was on the way. We were 3 women in the pitch black so after another half hour I called back and was told another 20 mins. I explained we were 3 women no street lights and needed to know it was on the way. The call handler put the phone down on me so we were left stranded. Totally unacceptable, I would not recommend as too unreliable. Very disappointing service. I advise NOT to use.
Disappointing service
I booked a minibus for myself and friends last night, on the way back the driver tried to argue that the agreed £59 return with 2x drop offs should be £70. After calling base and them listening to the booking recordings, I reiterated and paid the agreed price.
After this, the driver Shahid became insulting towards us, shouting and calling us “middle class scum” and “elderly”. He then refused to move from our road in an attempt to be intimidating. We will never be using Lynx taxis again and thankfully it did not ruin a great evening we had.

5 star service from booking to pick up
I recently used Lynx for a ride and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The driver arrived promptly, and the ride was smooth and comfortable. The fare was reasonable and the overall service was excellent. I would definitely recommend them for anyone in need of reliable transportation.

Never had a problem with Lynx, they have always been very reliable for us. Also brilliant for pre booked airport transfers. I would recommend.

Absolutely awful service over one hour delay
Absolutely awful service. Taxi over 1 hour late meaning I missed the drinks reception and starter of a Christmas event I was attending. I had pre booked a return taxi at 9am that morning, so you expect to be scheduled in. The return trip was 45 minutes late and in the end we had to get an Uber. The customer service was totally unacceptable and at no point did anyone apologise - I got cut off on several occasions. Do not use this company they will let you down

Booked taxi for 7.00. Turned 40 mins late, booked return at 12.00. Eventually told them to forget it a hour later. Left us standing in minus temperatures. Appalling service and told us lies while we were waiting.

This company are trying to promote themselves in macclesfield, do not fall for it as they are un-reliable. You can never get through to a human. Today i booked a taxi an hour in advance on the app, after 20 minutes of waiting still no dispatch. At this point im late for work, booked with a busy rival company and a taxi was with me within 5 minutes (i live close to the town centre). My mum also tried to book with them a few weeks ago and nothing ever arrived. Again no explanation or apology, disgusting service avoid them at all costs.

Booked a cab for my daughter arriving with Ryanair tonight at 11 PM. No cab waiting and no contact with company although they had sent a booking confirmation and reference number and asked for flight number.
Avoid like the plague. Completely rotten service. If I could score with a negative I would.

Taxi was booked for late Monday evening, booked some time ago.
Upon arrival at Manchester Airport my wife called letting LT know she was ready to be picked up. The advice on where the meet point was well wdministered. Very considerate driver and delivery successfully made.

I booked a taxi for the airport, managed to book the wrong address.
Received confirmation taxi on its way and realised, contacted Lynx at 4.30am, im now running late. I explained to the chap my mistake, he cancelled my booking and had another taxi with me within five mins.
The reason I didn't book the taxi in advance in the first place was due to the bad reviews I'd seen, my experience with lynx has always been good.
Contacted the office again as the payment for the cancelled taxi went out of my account, staff were lovely and I received my refund.
Worst Taxi company I’ve ever used anywhere in the world
I’ve left 1 star as 0 stars isn’t possible. Today once again, dreadful service. It was 25 mins late. My son will now get to work late because of these cowboys. The last time it was an hour. I didn’t bother calling today, no point they simply deny , laugh at you and hang up. The last time was enough. When I called to find out where the taxi was they lied, I called back, they hung up, called back they hung up, called back they hung up etc etc. Lost track as to how many times they hung up. Eventually spoke to me, told them my son would be disciplined at work, she laughed and again hung up. Called back spoke to a man, he lied, said he’d heard the call and the revolting woman hadn’t laughed or hung up. I believe he was either the owner or whoever is in charge. Drivers are nice, not their fault. I never use them anymore due to the last fiasco but there wasn’t another option today. Oh they advertise that they are in Macclesfield. Another lie, they’re not, they’re in Hazel Grove. Liars and worst service I’ve ever had from a taxi company anywhere in the world. The best at being the worst. They clearly don’t care either so writing this is probably a giant waste of time. 🤷♀️
All sorts of things wrong with Lynx
The price you get on the app is not exact. It's approximate, so be prepared to pay more than you're quoted. Sometimes a lot more.
Also, their drivers have an extremely annoying habit of turning up fifteen minutes early, banging on your door and asking you to hurry up. This has happened on multiple occasions and they need to learn not to send taxis early or late, but ON TIME!
I am autistic and we don't like to be put under pressure, especially when we're trying to get ready and we don't want to leave anything behind. But Lynx don't take the customer's needs into consideration as long as the money keeps rolling in...
The final straw came yesterday when I called them to make a complaint about the driver once again turning up extra early and driving at 50mph through 30 zones. I was afraid for my life during the journey as the driver was not driving the vehicle with the safety, due care and attention he should be. I was told that they don't accept complaints by phone and to email in, where I'm sure it would be safely deposited in the trash without being read.
Consequently I've deleted the app and won't be using them again if they're not prepared to listen to their customers. Also, they need to tell their drivers to calm down, stop being so reckless and to arrive on time, instead of very early or very late.
