Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Booked the meet and greet service for my elderly parents who were visiting Manchester airport for the first time.
1. No meet and greet whatsoever. The chauffeur kept on waiting in the parking and made my parents wait at the exit. When he arrived he kept on rushing them saying "I'll have to pay for parking".
2. Highly unprofessional chauffeur, extremely rude. Tried to scam my dad by saying you'll have to pay extra to me since you are late- although they weren't late.
3. Didn't help with the luggage at all and when he did on dropping them off, broke our completely new suitcase.
4. Disappointing customer service. Emailed them straight away about the horrible experience and for them to take action- no response( forwarded to relevant team- still waiting for that team after 10 days!)
My local town service is so much better! Never booking with them again- false claims of meet and greet!
Reply: It's even worse having a company not even admitting to their driver's mistakes. The website clearly mentions that the chauffeur will hold a name plate in the arrivals hall. He requested to wait at Starbucks in the arrivals hall but never made it there, no name plate! It was the driver who was abusive and rude to my parents, threatened to charge extra, mishandled our suitcase and broke it! I am glad, at least, someone responded here, since I have been waiting for an email reply for two weeks now!

As a responsible professional taxi firm, we shared the driver details with the arriving passengers (we believe your parents) via whatsapp 12 hours before landing. Before they had taken off at the departure airport. We shared this info with them for their comfort and assurances so they can contact the driver directly after landing and stay in touch with him.
The driver has been in touch with them constantly after touchdown and kept him updated with their progress through immigrtation and luggage reclaim / customs.
He did inform them the exact pickup procedure . Our driver was with them in arrivals hall as soon as they updated that they have collected their luggage.
Like any professional workplace, we take abuse to our staff very seriuosly and there is no place whatsoever for such behaviour to our staff.
We alwasy strive to create a safe environment for our drivers where they feel comfortable to work in .
The arriving passengers were very abusive to our driver even though they themselves have been constantly in touch with him and he was at the pickup location before the pickup slot you had booked online.
Driver has the right to refuse service if he feels threatned or receive abusive treatment from the passengers etc.
It was very professional of him that he ignore what expletives were said to him by the passengers and continued to fulfill his job right upto the destination.
In a workplace, there can never be a valid reason for anyone to be verbally abusive to anyone. We all do our jobs and we would like to do that in a safe environment. I am sure you do that too.
After meeting the passengers, they decided to have a 10-15 minute smoke break outside and asked the driver to wait until they have finished smoking.
There are strict parking restrictions and charges at the airport and drivers do try their best to enter and exit the car park before any penalties are given to them.
All drivers are professinoally trained and they carry out dozens of transfers per day in a professional envionment. Its their job. howevever abusive behaviour in work environment has no place.
We would prefer that you book with your local supplier next time as they might be able to put up with uncalled abusive behaviour.
In our workplace, respect is paramount which our driver extended to the arriving passengers but didnt receive it back.
Expensive uber-booking service
I booked an executive transfer. They sent me an uber and charged me £20 more than the uber fee.

Please check your confirmaton email which was sent to you soon after the online booking was made and it clearly mentioned ''standard car'' in the booking.

Came in today grabbed a black cab from outside. The driver drove too fast felt at risk. He went over speed limit. Had my grandson in.
Paid him he drove off with change. Went past our house all way down the street. While metre was running. I took cases from car went back for my change he sped off. Robbery.

Great service
Both pick up and collection were great, the cars were very clean and the drivers were great. On time (even a little early after monitoring our flight). I would highly recommend.
I have reduced this from 5 stars simply because of the lack of communication from the company before each pick up. I want to know that everything is in hand, that the driver is booked and confirmed 2-3 days before my booking. Not 6 _9 hours before, when I'm in another country with limited Internet access (or on a 23 hour trip back from Australia). This lack of communication was a let down for me. Everything did go exactly as I had booked, I just like knowing everything is in hand early.

Great driver
just wanted to offer some positive feedback back for your driver Imran. He arrived a few minutes early and was really helpful and courteous, he dropped us at the airport and after he left we realised we was missing a case. I called him to ask if it was in the van but he said it wasn’t we then realised we had left it at home. We asked if he was free to take us back home which he did and got us back to the airport as well & in time so we could still make the flight.
He made what was and could’ve been a very traumatic experience a lot easier.

What a nightmare. Parked up and they Turned up and wanted more money. Refused to look at booking on email. Walked off as we refused to pay more. So we got annoyed and they wouldn't listen. Rang up and they just hung up on me repeatedly 3 times. Had no choice as we're late and couldn't get another place to park car. They swore at me and said I don't work for you. Had to beg and pay extra or miss my holiday. Terrified of what could happen to our car over the week.

You must have intended to leave this review for PARK AND RIDE company. Great for booking with an infant car seat
Very clear communication from the outset. The driver, Amir was such a lovely and professional person who had made my entire journey felt less stressful. It is stressful as it is travelling with a 5mo but being picked up from door to door helped tremendously. He was super helpful with the suitcases as well.

Avoid, avoid avoid. Paid £109 for taxi transfer on January 5th, at 9
30am, for flight landing at 8.35am.Manchester airport was closed due to snow. Obviously our plane could not land and we were diverted to Gatwick.Company claim they dispatched a driver, and I was a no show, and didn't give them 12hrs notice of cancellation. I was in the air 12hours before, unaware of problems in Manchester. On landing i contacted company and was asked to pay again if i wanted to book a taxi home. Company advertises it tracks flights etc, obviously not or they would have been aware Manchester airport was closed. Ended up using an Uber taxi, much cheaper and much more reliable.

Taxi bookings are taken on a slot basis. Resources I.e. driver and vehicles are reserved based on your landing time. Your flight was diverted from Manchester Airport after your place circled around a few times.
We exchanged driver details with you as well in advance to show that driver has been allocated in advance.
As per our terms and conditions, we can only pick you up from Manchester airport where we are based.
We couldn't pick you up from Gatwick Airport for the same fare.
Operator did give you a revised fare based on the new mileage bit it was declined by yourself.

Excellent communication from time of…
Excellent communication from time of booking to pickup. Meet and greet at airport was a nice touch and removed any issues with trying to locate the taxi outside of the terminal building. Vehicle was spotlessly clean inside suggesting that this company takes pride in the service they offer. Journey was very comfortable and driving standard was high. Overall an excellent service at a fair price.

Travelled back from Manchester Airport…
Travelled back from Manchester Airport to Sheffield over the Snake Pass around midnight on a Sunday night. Our journey has to be one of the most pleasant we’ve ever had. Our driver, Muhammad took my son’s nosebleed and travel sickness in his stride and we arrived home safely and relaxed. We will definitely be using this service again
