If you are considering renting at Luxer One
If you are considering renting at a property that uses LuxerOne and are being told it is a secure package solution, I would strongly encourage you to think twice. My experience showed that it was not truly secure. Someone was able to use a delivery carrier access code to enter the package room and steal packages. That means if a thief lives in the building, works for a delivery company, previously worked for one, or is connected to someone with access, your packages may be much more vulnerable than you are being led to believe.
What makes this even worse is that residents can end up taking the financial loss. Merchants are becoming more resistant to refunding stolen packages because of fraudulent claims, and banks may deny disputes if the seller provides a delivery photo, even when the package was stolen before the resident ever received it. In other words, a package can be stolen from a so-called secure room and the actual victim may still be left without their merchandise or their money back. In my opinion, LuxerOne creates the appearance of security without providing the level of protection residents expect.

LuxerOne presents itself as a secure but it is just an illusion
LuxerOne presents itself as a secure package solution, but my experience has shown otherwise. My package was stolen from the package room before I ever received it, and the response has been vague and frustrating. Although video footage was reviewed and it was confirmed that I was not the person who took the package, LuxerOne has still not clearly stated what information was provided beyond the video or whether any scan/app access data exists that could help identify who entered the room.
What is most concerning is that this system gives residents the impression that packages are protected, when in reality there appears to be little accountability if something is stolen. Access to the room does not feel meaningfully controlled, there is no clear compensation process for stolen packages, and communication has been unclear throughout. Residents should not be left chasing answers after trusting a service that is supposed to add security.

Convenient and safety
Packages are not stolen. A message is sent to me when delivery is done. But, if only Amazon drivers will follow my instructions and deliver to the lockers.
