Our platform is designed as a social app for the endurance community, which is why you’ll sometimes see suggestions to follow others. These are not random — they’re based on people who share mutual friends with you or who are in the same groups, so you can connect with like-minded participants.

Alongside the social features, the app also helps you find and book upcoming events, and manage your own bookings directly in your calendar. If you prefer, you can also access all of these features by logging into your account on our website.

I’m really sorry to hear about your frustrations when trying to secure your place for the Cambridge Half Marathon. I completely understand how disappointing it must have felt to get to the payment stage and then miss out.

Although it may have looked like the site crashed, the reason you weren’t able to continue was because tickets sold out during your booking process, not due to the website crashing. This year’s demand was unprecedented, and the event sold out in record time.

I know that doesn’t make the experience any less frustrating and we will certainly take your feedback on board for future launches.

I’m really sorry to hear about your frustrations when trying to register for the Cambridge Half Marathon. I appreciate how disappointing it must have been to get all the way through the process and then see an error at payment.

The message you received can be confusing and it appears when tickets sell out during the booking process, which unfortunately means the system won’t let you continue. This wasn’t due to a system error or the site being unable to cope, but rather because demand for the event was unprecedented as it sold out in record time.

We only have one email address, support@letsdothis.com, and you can also get in touch via our Help Centre. From what you’ve described, it looks like your first messages may have gone to the event organiser rather than our team, which is why it took a few attempts to connect with us.

I’ll make sure your comments are passed on, as we’re always looking at ways to make our contact options easier to find and use.

The information required on the booking form is determined by each individual event organiser, as these details are essential for them to run their event. Unfortunately, this means we’re unable to change what is requested.

However, if you’re logged into Let’s Do This, your basic details—such as name, email address, and postal address—are automatically saved and pre-filled in the booking form to save you time.

We’re also working on expanding the information saved in your account so that only event-specific details will need to be entered with each new booking. We hope this will make the process smoother in the near future.
