We were very disappointed with the service. Back in May the firm confirmed they had the correct document for our remortgage, but only a week before completion they told us it wasn’t the right one and that they suddenly needed something different. This caused unnecessary stress.
Communication throughout was impersonal and confusing — we were never given a single case handler, and different people replied each time with inconsistent information. Many responses felt like copy‑paste templates rather than clear answers, and the language used was difficult to understand for people who are not solicitors. Overall, the process felt disorganised and poorly managed.

Smooth service and accessible case handler
Appreciated being able to track the progress of my sale through Hoowla and receiving updates through daily digest emails. My case handler, Ali Mahmood, was excellent with his customer service as he updated the portal regularly and was easy to get hold of through email and phone calls. He was very proactive and understanding.

Was quite happy
There wasn’t really much problem. It was quite good at keeping us in contact every day letting us know where we stand but the frustrating part was the buyer of my property that was making everything just take long but I was very happy with my solicitors

Unprofessional
Unhelpful, conflicting advise from different people, legally incorrect advise & tried to overcharge by 50% for a service they did not do.
Failures resulted in a 2 month today.
Cannot speak to anyone, just a generic email address. No communication between departments.
Not cheaper either, in future I will use a more reliable and professional solicitor.

The closure of the housing loan took over 12 months due to the incompetence of the lawyers, for which I was later burdened with additional costs. Unprofessional
