John Pye Autions "Bids on own Lots" to prevent you winning goods at bargain fees.

Example:
10 items for sale exactly same, they will make bids on last day to prevent sale below RRP -10%. Then after winning their own bids they will move all items from one LOCATION to another using same photo and re-list for another sale. And exactly same thing happens again until they get the price they want.
So when you see exactly the same picture re-advertising at another location. You know that it is impossible to buy that item from them unless you pay more than it is worth.

1. Check what price item is worth.
2. Don't use delivery service, Cheaper to collect yourshelf.
3.The Lot price plus delivery charges, maybe cheaper to buy New with Insurance Guarantee from somewhere you can get your money back or replacement if it does not work.
4. All the items listed on these JPA sites are damaged in some way, parts missing, can't buy matching items, include items you dont want in lots.

Purchased a cordless hoover that I received today- clearly been used and several parts missing including the battery so it’s unusable -pointless purchase

Bid for a Thrustmaster yolk for my sons xbox airplane simulator, it did seem like I was bidding against AI. I won then bid £270 when it arrived it didn’t work. Gave it to a friend to have a look at and all the internals had the wires pulled out and damaged. Asked for a refund they said no as I should have inspected it before purchase! Even if I had of I wouldn’t have been able to see the inside. Stay away from anything electrical!

Purchased a working food processor. Arrived and didn't work.
Refused to refund or accept return.
These people are scumbag cowboys. Can't believe this shit goes on.

The phots on there auction lists are very misleading. If you complain to them, you’ll get fobbed off

I won an auction for a Vax Air Stretch Pet Max. It only took a few days to arrive. On arrival I turned it on to hoover the front room, the brunches rotated and worked correctly, but no suction. I checked everything over top to bottom....definitely no blockages or damaged pipes. The main motor for the suction is completely useless. so ive waisted over £65 for a large door wedge, unless I pay out for the new motor.

Service is really poor.
Won and paid for an item on 1st Jan 2024, but are still waiting for it to be delivered. I have contacted them 6 times and each time they keep cutting the call.

Seems they like to block you and not even explain why they have blocked you

This company uses shill bidding non stop . I told them this many times and if u was wrong then I told them to sue me . Still waiting .
If you just look at the items that are half decent they won't let them go without staff bidding on them.
Last year I won a telescope as a present for my nephew . It was never delivered I was told it went missing . 2 weeks later it was back up for Auction . They won't let items go if they think you got a good deal .

Poor customer relation in dealing with won item and at the of two weeks told they couldn't locate the item after series of calls. Gamble for your money

I had an extremely frustrating experience with this website and would not recommend anyone to shop here. After trying to make a purchase, I was blocked without any clear reason and was forbidden from buying items from the site. When I asked for an explanation regarding this decision, I was met with an evasive and accusatory response. I was insinuated to have created multiple accounts, which is not true. Instead of providing clarification, the customer service team told me they were not obligated to give me further explanations and refused to resolve the issue.

This attitude of irresponsibility and lack of respect for the customer made me completely lose trust in this site. I do not recommend this online store, especially if you are looking for quality service and a fair shopping experience.

Really disappointed with John pye I have been buying items for a very long time recently I have received things that’s are not working. Shoes that aren’t the same shoe s the staff especially in chesterfield are extremely rude I haven’t received a refund in my items which is really disappointing

Having paid a considerable amount for a high end treadmill and paid their delivery fee, John Pye simply never delivered it! After a month I kept trying to get an answer to where my item was. The response was 'we aim to get it to you within 14 days of the sale'. This was a month after the sale and they kept on starting the same thing. No help what so ever has been offered.

John Pyes contract essentially states the timescale for delivery is unlimited. Worst business I've ever used. No customer service and no accountability. They will pocket your money and wash their hands off they're legal obligations.

Had problems in the past, but jenny from the Notts site was really good and lovely to talk to, I'm her for her , but the site it self I've had nothing but problems

Be very very aware they sell fake and copy goods

Get value for money if you want to receive broken items!

Smashed glass lampshades, broken table tops!

Plus don't always assume that you will even receive the goods you have paid for, but if you enjoy waiting for your money to be refunded this is certainly the place for you!

John Pye Auctions company operated by few Crimnal minded calprits who own this company, their Names can be found on John Pye Auctions "Company`s House website" who are operating from James Shipstone House, Radford Road, Nottingham. NG7 7EA. I dealt twice with this company and both time they cheated with me, 1st time on 11 Apr 23 company sent me the half of my ordered product, even I complained but no action taken by them, 2nd time I ordered on 27 Jun 24 but when i received it was not turning on at all, when they sold there was not a single word was written it is faulty or not. It was a terrible experience with them and I will suggest everyone be careful dealing with them. All affected people can submit the complaint against these criminals, report their website on NCSC website, and spread the word everywhere about these Robbers.

After 10s of electrical goods bought its usually on about 10% that actually work !.. and now ... I bought 6 identical items from one auction (all paid same day) and only 5 get sent ! THIEVES

Three times or more previous occasions I bought viewing pics and then when items arrive the boxes have 'faulty' written on all of them .. but no sign of any of this on the pictures !!

I called to complain and told about my experiences .. they told me 'don't expect anything to work' as they are mostly 'returns'. m a d

First and last time. Bought an Instax Mini camera, and it's broken. The lens is stuck and there was no mention of it being broken anywhere.
