Dismal: askd for vegan sausage sandwich, but was just that. A sausage in unpalatable, un-nutritious, white bread, (with no onions and/or garlic). Thereafter. Asked for a half doz hash browns. But... Se mere

Great food and service
Extremely rude staff
We had a very poor experience with a staff who was very rude to us despite it being another staff member making a mistake. They took the drinks off our table without giving us a chance to buy food. They were the ones bringing the extra drinks to our table (after we had already bought food and eaten it) and Jacob was very rude to say it was our fault even though it was their staff that made a huge mistake. He refunded us only part of the bill despite it being their fault and made it out like he was already doing more than was needed.
We are extremely unhappy with this service and demand a full refund of this bill i have taken a photo and our bill with the original food on it.
The staff and service is abominable
The staff and service is abominable. especially that big fat female one at the bulwell wethersoon's. She interrogates everyone like a US cop, her manners are nonexistent and refuse to even answer questions or serve coffee unless you order something first and it is not even lockdown yet! She claims this place will close down thursday and it would be a public service if it never reopened!
Sorry JD Weatherspoons your food has…
Sorry JD Weatherspoons your food has really gone done hill the last few months. We have ate at Weatherspoons many times. But the last three occasions have been so poor. Today curry club. Food cold. Naan bread inedible. Popadoms cold and swimming in cooking oil. Don’t think will will give it any more tries hoping for things to improve.
Just admit when wrong....please
Nothing wrong with the food just the attitude of the waitress. Ordered vegetarian breakfast and it came with no spread for the toast, when queried she responded with there's no vegetarian spread so you have nothing.....nothing was mentioned when she gave us our food......so I politely pointed out that lurpak is ok and it would have only been not wanted if we were having the vegan breakfast. She came back with lurpak and napkins etc and just dumped them on the table without a word!! When we looked at the menu it states lurpak with regular and vegetarian breakfast and vegan spread with vegan breakfast. Just no need for attitude.....we weren't rude and she was wrong!
Louth lincs Tues 27th oct 11am ish table 29.
Mechanical Elephant in Margate
Occasionally go into the Mechanical Elephant in the mornings, basically because I like the walk down the seafront.
Bearing in mind the current situation with the virus which has made working in hospitality very problematic, it never ceases to amaze me how cheerful efficient and professional the staff in this pub are, especially after some of the indignities heaped on them by the likes of Tim Martin and his ilk.
If it were up to me I would give them all permanent contracts and an immediate pay rise
Our visit to the Regal in cambridge
Visited wetherspoons, The Regal in cambridge on saturday 24th october with 3 others. Their was very little social distancing. A lot of the tables were only about a metre apart, there was people walking about with no masks and on mobile phones. Very poor food quality. No butter with jacket potatoes and cold food. Also on our arrival watched someone being pushed out of the pub for standing up, yes that's all he did at his table. He was being shoved out the doors by 3 doorman, they were pushing him into the glass of the doors and then one of them pushed him into the road. Arrogant door staff. Bullies. We use Downham market wetherspoons usually which cant be faulted , its fantastic. We will never visit the Regal again. Awful service food and door staff, there was no hand sanitizer in the gents toilet or at the first entrance of the pub
The Bear, Maidenhead
Just had the most awful experience at The Bear in Maidenhead this evening. My daughter drove and we parked on the street, opposite, a little way down from the pub around 7pm. As the car in front had parked badly, it left us with a much smaller space to park in, otherwise we’d encroach into the vacant disabled bay behind us. Having got out to guide her as close as possible to the car in front, I was suddenly confronted by an angry man telling me that we had just hit the car in front. I told him we had not. He then told me that we couldn’t park it there as we hadn’t left enough space between us and the car in front. I pointed out that the car in front had about four foot of space between the front of it and the next car because it was so badly parked. I asked him if it was his and, if it was, could he park it in the marked bay. He became abusive and I told him that if it wasn’t his, and as we had not hit it, perhaps he should go back to whatever it was he was doing before he started wrongly accusing my daughter.
When we got to the front door of The Bear, there he was, standing in front of us blocking our way, as the duty doorman for the pub. I politely asked if he’d like my details for the track and trace. He immediately told us there were no tables. I said, as there was no booking system, that we’d wait. He told me again, more aggressively this time, that there were no tables and we’d have to come back tomorrow. I asked if this was to do with the confrontation we’d just had over the parking and asked to speak to the manager. He told me I was not speaking to the manger and that we were to leave. I refused (there was now a queue behind us).
He went back just inside the door and spoke to a female member of staff at length, before they then both came back out and told us that there weren’t any tables. I said that, as it was very early, we’d wait and suggested to her that this was perhaps more about the bouncer aggressively, and wrongly, accusing my daughter of hitting a car further down the street. I asked if she was the manager. She refused to say and they both went back inside.
Another member of staff arrived and asked if we had registered for the track and trace; we said we hadn’t as we’d been told there were no tables. He got on his radio and asked if there was a table free. He then said it wouldn’t be too long. My daughter registered and told him about the incident with the bouncer. He then disappeared back inside and then reappeared with the bouncer, who aggressively told my daughter to back away from the door. We did. He then told us more firmly to back away again. I said we had done as he’d asked and my daughter politely pointed out that we were well inside the box marked on the floor.
At this point, the guy that told us it wouldn’t be too long to get a table, then said that I’d raised my voice and we wouldn’t be getting in. I said I had not and asked to speak to the manager - he said he was the manager (James) and we were to leave and not come back. So, we left, with my daughter in tears at not only being refused entry, which was hugely embarrassing for her, but also at having wrongly been accused by some thuggish bouncer of hitting another car some way away from the pub. Why he’d left his post to confront us on a public road a distance away from the pub is baffling. As a long-serving member of the armed forces, I have never been treated in such an appalling manner. We clearly wont be going back.

Couldn’t run a bath never mind a pub. Complain about mistreatment and get barred!!!!
The Henglers Circus in Sauchiehall Street Glasgow is run by children. My big toe knows more about the Licensed Trade than the collective “management” in this place. Having been treated disgracefully and then complained to Head Office, we were officially barred from the establishment which is beyond belief. So, if you like to be disrespected and abused by kids who are supposed to be managers, this is the place for you. If however you then decide that you won’t tolerate that behaviour a d decide to complain, save yourself the effort and find another pub as Head Office will tell you that you are no longer welcome in the establishment which is astonishing. If that were my business, I’d be investigating what actually happened as there are countless bad reviews stating similar stories about staff mistreating customers and the customers then being barred because they complained. How can they be right? Best not put yourself through it, go elsewhere.

Visited Cornfield Garage Eastbourne last Saturday. Pub was not busy by Wetherspoons standards. Waited 20 mins for drinks. No warning of wait or apology. Reported situation to Wetherspoons who sent a response that gave the impression they were not interested. No more visits to Wetherspoons.
Liberty pub - Tower Hill - Thank You I would like to thank the lovely staff…
I would like to thank the lovely staff at The Liberty Wetherspoons in Tower Hill. This was my first time in a W'Spoons since lockdown. I was greeted by a lovely young girl who explained to me how to 'covid check in' on the NHS app. The seating was all clearly distanced and sectioned off. When I had problems ordering with my Monzo card the same girl ordered for me (I was able to order the next set of drinks fine on my Barclays card). The waiting and bar staff were also very good, helping me with the 'hot drinks system'. Lovely polite and friendly staff, a well run pub. Thank you, not easy to find since Covid.
Wetherspoons Ashby in self destruct mode
I need to share my experience of the Shoulder of Mutton in Ashby de la Zouch recently since the new Covid-19 rules were implemented. Customers are not welcomed on entry, instead they are challenged by staff who present conflicting interpretations of the rules. Staff avoid providing table service and insist on customers ordering via "the app". The Cloud wifi usually says internet unavailable so cannot connect to the app. New management needed.
Rudeness at Weatherspoons childwall 5 ways
Weatherspoons childwall 5 ways.
I attended weatherspoons today with my work associate and my 18yr old son.
I ordered food and 2 glasses of beer for me and my son.
The beer was served and we was enjoying our conversation.
A young “duty manager” who refused to provide his name when asked and was clearly “wet behind the ears” decided to challenge my sons age to drink, (I think this is because he was clearly jealous that he was driving a Bentley).
We did not have ID so he snatched the beer away and refused to provide a refund. I then requested it back as I was going to drink it.
The young duty manager was so unprofessional, I was perplexed as to why he felt the need to be incredibly rude to a party of men who was minding their own business.
I will certainly be sharing this experience with others.
Intimidating and rudeness is not what you expect.
I strongly recommend Weatherspoons not to give out managerial roles to children.

king King James Cheshunt. Not amused at the service
Visited king James cheshunt, stayed for 5 hours. The food was great. The waiting time for a drink was absurd . I had 5 beers and I spent 75 minutes obtaining them. The average time was 24 minutes the worst was 31. I tried cash to find I was in a queue and it still took 12 minutes. When I spoke to the manager, apparently there was
Not the hours available to employ staff! This is not good enough, when you think what the company is worth. This is a joke or is that what JD thinks of us!
Clock Gate Greenwich
Really bad experience from start to finish. But the worst was our food. I ordered steak and my partner ordered fish and chips. We had to ask where it was as had been waiting a long time. Go find out and then food arrives. Steak has no garnish and asked for it but never arrived. In fact they were rude. Its obvious the food had been left somewhere because it was cold. Had enough and left.😣😣😣😣
Unpleasant and unwelcoming
Unpleasant and unwelcoming ! From the waitress that does not say hello, does not have a straw for kids, but they have kids meals, to waiting 40 min for our order to arrive and another 30 min for the desert to the attitude of a displeased people that show frustrations every time they answer a question! Not coming here any more !!!
Curry Night
Took some of the family to the Postal Order Worcester tonight, for curry night! Wonderful! Had a lovely time! Thank you! REGARDS, Keith!
Very disappointed/discussted with The…
Very disappointed/discussted with The Powder Monkey in Exmouth, 2nd week running dirty glass (lipstick mark on glass) was told the glasses get sterilised. First time this happened the drink was replaced with a big apology. I thought to myself that mistakes do happen an this would be something they would learn from an not happen again especially during this pandemic, absolutely disgusted to find lipstick mark on my glass the week after.. This should never happen ever, who wants to drink from a glass with someone else's lipstick on 🤮
