Had a lovely fish and chip meal on August 28th in the Potters Wheel in Swansea could not fault it.
Went in again on September 3rd and we’re going to have the same again. Unfortunately they had sold out so thought we would treat ourselves to signature steaks at £13.50 each.
Big mistake the chap that brought the order seemed as if he wanted to be anywhere but there.Had to ask for condiments then whilst he was getting that noticed we were missing the crispy onion rings. When he came with condiments I asked for the onion rings he looked very perplexed so showed him the menu. He went off and duly came back with the said onions.Next to the steak it was the worst sirloin I have ever tasted both cooked too much after a request for rare and a medium.
I could not chew it and ended up taking mine home and throwing in bin.If my partner ever needs his shoes resolving I will certainly know where to come.All in all it was a horrible experience and one I will not be repeating I just wish I had complained at the time

Stopped at Wetherspoons staple hill oak today, my aunt went in to buy 2 drinks whilst I sat at a table outside. I ordered food on the app and we had our drinks and food and didn’t go inside again whilst all the time my dog sat quietly next to me being a miniature schnauzer almost unseen, well until the manager came out and said so you know in the future dogs aren’t allowed out here!. I’ve been to far better pubs where dogs are allowed inside the pub, safe to say I’ll avoid any further visits to this Wetherspoon pub.

I had pint of Abbott and it was not nice I told the manager and she told me if I did not like the beer to go somewhere else

I went out to have a nice evening and relax with several friends.
About 2320pm they had gone and i had a whisky and pepsi left so sat outside and wanted a cig.
The woman on the door suddenly came up to me and said we have already told you that we are closing.
I said oh sorry i didnt know and her colleague on the door was extremely aggressive and said yes u did.
If the lady had said we are closing its time to go i would have happily finished what i had then and said thanks goodnight but i walked around to leave and the guy on the door smashed the drink out of my hand.
I said whats the problem i only came outside for a smoke with my drink?
He pushed me and i said don't push me ive done nothing wrong i only came out with my drink to have a cigarette and the lady said we will call the police.
I said OK call them but i dont know what i have done wrong?
The male bouncer pushhed me again.
I said di not push me ive done nothing wrong he replied what are you going to do about it?
He was extremely aggressive and very threatening i admit i told him you will push someone over and hurt them and lose your job if you are so aggressive!
He was clearly looking for a fight and the female bouncer was supporting it.
I really like the unicorn its a nice bar and good value but i couldnt go back after this i felt picked on and threatened fot nothing.
Its a shame we will have to go elsewhere

Never any brown sauce in the commercial rooms in bristol, when 1 manager is in he gives a bottle then wipes it over to use again, all other staff say they dont have any.
Lesson learnt now after 4 breakfasts this week. Ask first then go somewhere else, breakfast with no brown sauce, terrible.

Me and my partner visited The Cabot Bars Hotel in Weston-super-mare last week for a meal as we have for many years. Arrived and ordered using the app as is their preferred option at the moment. Dirty table with plates and glasses left from previous seating that we're never cleared. After half an hour wait and no sign of drinks we eventually managed to speak to a waitress who told us there was a 30-40 mins wait for drinks!!! And 50-60 mins wait for food. After an hour of sitting there with not even a drink my partner went inside. He was given our drinks which appeared to be sat waiting on the bar and while he was gone our food eventually arrived. A rare and medium rare steak that we're both at least well done and my white wine that was warm!! We would have complained but nobody came near us and we didn't have another hour to wait!!! If this had been my first visit I would make sure I never returned. Filled out a complaint to Wetherspoons but not heard anything back from them!

I visited Hudson bay wetherspoons in forest gate with my friend and daughter for her birthday.. I have to say it's our favourite place to eat as the service is amazing and the staff were helpful and friendly. Food was so nice and portions were just right.always love their breakfast too as good value for money and with the eat out to help out going on now our meals were very much value for money. Highly recommend this weatherspoons x

Just been to the The Benjamin Satchwell, Leaminton. Hot on the door about admission and walking around in the correct direction due to covid. Most of the tables were filthy, in the 1.5-2 hours I was in there never saw any tables wiped down. Looks like just they are just paying lip service to covid and keeping customers safe. Tried to pop outside to buy some antibac wipes from the shop next door. Told by the aggragate young man (jobs worth) on the door your not allowed. Good job I was wearing a mask as he might of seen me siliently mouth my reply!

My friend and I went out for a meal for our last time before university and we both seem quite young. I have been in many wetherspoons before and have never been treated the way I have today. I have always loved to go to wether spoons with my family and this is the first time I went without my parents. We went to An Ruadh Ghleann in rutherglen and most the staff were rude to us and continuously glared at us. It made us feel very uncomfortable. The staff avoided us knowing we had finished our meals and were waiting for dessert. We waited 20 minutes plus for them to come clear the table and bring our desserts. My friend then went to the bar and politely asked for our dessert- she was ignored by the group of bar staff and had to find another member of staff to ask. After asking for the second time no one came and we then had to ask again.

Another cold breakfast. Couldn't warm it up because of covid. Hardly any customer's but no offer of putting it right.

Shoddy tired dirty pubs. Canteen-like eating from dirty plates. If drinking from dirty glasses is your thing, fair enough. I rather pay a bit more unless I'm stuck for choice as I generally have some self respect.

Took 20 mins to receive my order- we only ordered two breakfastS and after 15 minutes we were told there was no hash browns so I asked for extra sausage which she said was fine. Drinks came 19 minutes after ordering.
Food comes out with chips, scrambled eggs and no bread and scraps of bacon. I said to them server we didn’t order it like this and she said that’s all they had wouldn’t listen to my issue and wouldn’t resolve.
Bacon was burnt scrambled eggs were so rubbery and tastleless they were inedible.

We have just been to the Moon and Bell in Loughborough for breakfast for the first time and I was very impressed. Downloaded the app and ordered food and drinks for 8 people (2tables of four) food came within 10mins ! Really tasty breakfast wrap and free refills of coffee. What's not not to love!

Went last night to the spinning mule in bolton always go and never been disappointed however last night was bad we ordered on the app at 6.55 as they recommend at 7.30 finally got our drinks when we asked why so long he said the bar was busy but people going up to the bar which they are saying you shouldn't do were getting served straight away finally got food at 7.45 feel as though when the guy was seating you at tables he should have been informed to tell people the wait will be about an hour as bar and kitchen are really busy the front of house staff we spoke to were really friendly but it wasn't fair on them as quite a few unhappy people which could have been avoided would go again but will make sure to ask ourselves how long we are realistically going to be waiting

We are staying at the the Admiral of the Humber Hotel.
Positives
1. Excellent room,it is large and all the facilities in the room are what you would expect in a 3 star hotel.
2. Staff very helpful
3. Breakfast was well cooked and presented with a smile

Negatives
1. Main lift was not working but an alternative lift was available in the bar area to access the hotel and roof garden.
2.The breakfast menu has been reduced so the eggs benadict, eggs with smoked salmon and a few other items removed

Summary
Will definitely stay here again

When we showed both I’d he asked us to leave as only 18 year olds can sit in the area

Went to Jdw-the brocket arms Wigan and had lunch with a friend. The meal was very average and nothing to write home about and the service was the same. The staff look miserable and need some cheering up. I later got a £75 ticket For parking An hour by accident after I had three hours paid for by me. The car park Euro car parks are a disgrace for charging Such large prices with no leniency. I paid for three hours and got stung. I would never go to the pub again After my Bad experience I will certainly never park their again either.

Visited the wetherspoons in byker and there was no eggs the bacon was cold as well as the beans overall a horrific experience
