I went in at 8.30 and the place was empty, so no excuses for bad service.
I went to get my tea and there was no milk - I had to ask for milk twice.
I then waited 25 minutes for a small breakfast (in an empty pub!) before having to go to the bar to ask where it was - it came soon after but was cold so had obv been sitting on the side in the kitchen.
The guy who was delivering cups/food etc wasn't very polite, or even happy.
All in all a very bad experience and I won't be returning!

i am 18 years of age and went with a parent to the bar who purchased an alcoholic drink in which he then brought back to our table. The bar staff then approached us and said they saw me ‘take a sip’ so we’re clearly paying close attention and asked to see ID. I told them my provisional hasn’t arrived yet but I had photographic evidence of my application forms that I sent out in order to apply for the license in the first place which they didn’t even bother looking at and immediately took the drink away instead of letting my dad keep it for himself. Absolutely appalling considering way younger looking people manage to get served however my dad can’t let me have a drink of his.

For the last 6 weeks there has been no heating in the Foley arms hotel Malvern. It's freezing cold,and there are two tiny fires that are meant to heat the whole building. The radiators are stone cold. We have made countless enquiries/ complaints to management who say they are "waiting for a call out" for heating to be fixed. I have made countless complaints to customer services but nothing has been resolved. I can only think that they really don't care at all about customers'welfare.

Some staff really are good and professional. Such a shame that they also employ useless to**ers who couldn't give a damn.
The food doesn't come out of a kitchen cold I just stands around until one of the sloppy wasters can spare time to pick it up.
I've given the place plenty of chances to prove me wrong, but enough is enough! As Wetherspoons go 'This a very poor example'

Apart from the price and re fillable coffe I don't have anything good to say about their breakfasts. Every wetherspoons we have been in serve their breakfast luke warm. Food is ment to be hot. The plates they serve it on are cold also. I find I have to rush to eat it as it goes cold really quickly.

The standards of JD Weatherspoons in The Old Chapel Darwen are shocking and staff / managemnt not even interested.

Cant even read sticker for table number and both tables rock like see-saws while trying to eat. Drinks spilt in front of server while showing her the disgraceful conditions of furniture.

Refused a drink, after being told I'd "had too much". I asked for a concrete reason, but was not given one. A bit "wild west" in the way the place is operated (Black Horse, Northfield); no checks and balances, just egotistical managers doing whatever pleases them at any given moment. Some staff are thoroughly professional, but the existing hierarchy seems to place them below less worthy individuals, which is a real shame.

No sausages, no hot choclate, table doesnt exist on app, wont add selected items to app, no point

Unfortunately I had to press for a star to write my review or there would have been no stars , my son and I went in with my 2 year old granddaughter I wanted fish snd chips there was none my son ordered a pasta dish for my granddaughter it came half way through us eating what we had only to find that it had been heat up in microwave, I returned it and asked for a fresh one , 10 mins later it came only to be scalding hot , glad Sienna didn’t start eating it or she would have burnt her mouth , we didn’t have a spare hour to let it cool so I asked for the money back , we left and went on our way back to the car when my son remembered that he gad also ordered himself a pudding and Sienna an ice cream so needless to say after the pasta carry on we wernt even offered the ice cream which she could have ate while we finished out food oh and by the way the only reason we went there was because all the other eating places round about were too busy and we hungry this was in the omni centre at the top of leith walk in Edinburgh so I won’t be back that is for sure

Regular here just wanted simple sausage butty when it arrived half toasted bread and dry not a lot to ask but not done right try eating dry bread. Very disappointed

How about this for a visit yesterday - I would like fish and chips - sorry we don't have those - I would like Burger and chips sorry we don't have any of those as we don't have baps - What do you have? Anything that doesn't contain milk or dairy - What? How about one of your nine guest beers? Sorry 8 of those are not available. So why are you open? I am guessing it was just so people could have a sit down rest-break from shopping and maybe, just maybe a glass of water. (But don't be so sure because I didn't ask for one of those. Shocking Pub with Terrible Service and Staff that excel in NOT giving a Crap. One Star is far too much.

They took 45 mins for my food

Had a meal at Bath weatherspoons today, paid for a double burger!came with at least one chips,the bacon was cold and looked raw,the onion rings were cold,burger was under cooked ..the waitress asked me if meal was OK?..I said no ,she said we Don't warm up the bacon!!I will never eat here again...and on table was a magazine with owner backing piers Morgan the obnoxious bully for not being allowed free speech...what a joke ...stick to getting rich from poorly paid staff and morons

JDWeatherspoons is excellent value, OK it may not be dining at a 5 * restuarant, but to be fair pound for pound it is unbeatable. My wife & I visit the Lifeboat in Formby Merseyside at least twice a week, always satisfied with food, drinks & service. I find dining out very affordable, without Weatherspoons, I doubt we would be dining out.
I find some of the poor reviews to be unfair, judgement should be made on value for money, Weatherspoons is unbeatable. Well done JDWeatherspoons keep up the great service.

The Taylor’s Chalk in Sidcup. A perfect example of an extremely well run pub. Was visiting Sidcup and went in 2 mornings in a row for breakfast. The service was exemplary. The breakfast was great, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, and as we were staying in the Travel Lodge we got an extra 20% off the bill! Win win!

Food cold, manager offered a round of drinks or desert , but totally disinterested , but from reviews seen not surprisingly, just won't bother going to one again

Quick! Before it as all gone. Get down to the Tremeneere on Market Jew St, Penzance and order the Manager's Special Chicken Vinderloo.
The usual prompt, cheerful service with the surprise of a rare menu addition. Thanks to the manager and all staff. Proper job!

Just in Wetherspoon Newport John Wallace Linton, am afraid the way the racially treated us was bad. We are black but we don’t deserve that, please we are in the 21st century, stop being medieval. The manager refused to give us the name of the person who shouted at us. All was captured on video. It’s sad the way these barbaric treated us

Disgusting toilets at The Angel Hotel Whitby. Wet floor, toilet seat, paper all over the floor, strange stains in sinks. Health hazard and more waiting to happen. Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, No cleaner list to be found. Totally unacceptable.
