Just tried to have a meal with two small pugs outside, and was asked to leave, what a load of twoddle, there are people with children that cause more distress. I hope it is costing them a fortune in lost revenue

Was given a poor quality beer.
Ask for another and the bar person asked the manager who refused as lines possibly hadn't been cleaned. Took the beer but was cloudy... Spoke to my friend in private about the service and the Manager ignorantly listened in and relayed to the staff making me feel uncomfortable... Looking for confrontation... I ignored but left as felt unwelcome..

Ordered food - 1 x jacket and 1 x paninis …. Panini came out wrong! How can you get that wrong … cheese and tomato but given ham! No apology just got told ‘yeah they made the wrong one for you’

Breakfast took 50 minutes to arrive and was missing beans and mushrooms, eggs were like rubber and undercooked (no idea how this is achieved) bacon like cardboard, asked waitress from the missing item and she returned with a bowl of tepid beans and no mushrooms. So we asked for a refund as I refused to eat it.
This is the 4th time since lockdown we have tried spoons for food, every time it's a let down with either part of the meal missing or cold/ extra long wait for food
I find the hygiene rating a joke as there's never a table that's been wiped if emptied of cups/plates /glasses.

Went to skipton weatherspoons I ordered a chicken tikka masala half way through the meal I try to cut what I thought was chicken breast turned out to be a bone which put me off the rest of my meal and because I didn't go through the proper channel of complaints I was unable to even receive a part refund very poor customer service they said I should have told a member of the staff but the photo I sent clearly showed a bone in the meal

Have recently visited Jolly’s Hotel in Broughty Ferry Dundee. When we were there we had our bank card removed from our room.The police have been involved. The manager was not interested. I contacted Wetherspoon head office and have constantly been told we are looking into it.

I have yet to visit a single Wetherspoon's where the service is any better than amateurish and average. I have visited many. Why can this fundamental issue not be rectified?

Worse pub ever with bad customer service waited half hour in the end walked out . Both men behind bar were asked could I order good and drinks Thet said yes walked away served 5 people left me still standing place is a tip played every table all dirty people piling all the dirty plated in the shelf. Lying manager and chewing gum stuck on tables in Northallerton branch
Yesterday I was in the Northallerton branch. I sat on a table with chewing gum stuck on it. I had already been speaking to the cleaner in the toilet he said they were short staffed. My coat was only a week old and it was damaged with the chewing gum. There was chewing gum stuck under the table aswell. The lady member of staff said I could get a new one and they would replace it. I did this I took it in to the manager and he denied there was any chewing gum on the table I had 2 witnesses with me. 3 members of the morning staff saw it too. The manager was so rude and unprofessional he would not even give his name. He kept walking away too. I will never be going in again after this especially with a lying manager

Worst customer service at Fairlop pub. No meaningful response to complaints what so ever. Cleared my drinks when I went to counter to order further drinks to my friend. Served wrong drinks when ordered through the app. No way I can understand how to make a simple order at this pub without loosing money and patience. We don’t go to pub to deal with their problems and to manage the inefficiency of few staff members.

BREAKFASTS AT THE POSTE OF STONE PUB WERE ALWAYS COLD SO MANAGER BECKY PROMISED REPLACEMENT COMPLIMENTARY MEALS ON A RETURN VISIT.
RETURNED TODAY BUT UNFORTUNATELY WE HAD TO DEAL WITH A USELESS SHIFT MANAGER WHO REFUSED TO GIVE HIS NAME - SHORT, STOCKY WHITE MALE WITH LONG BLACK PONYTAIL.
PONYTAIL STATED HE WASN'T AWARE OF FREE BREAKFASTS AND COULDN'T GIVE AWAY FREE FOOD! REALLY? UNABLE TO MAKE A DECISION INVOLVING £10?
ANYWAY, PONYTAIL DISAPPEARED FOR 10 MINUTES BEFORE RETURNING SAYING HE COULDN'T CONTACT THE MANAGER BUT WOULD TRY SOMETHING ELSE! REALLY? 10 MINUTES AND STILL INCAPABLE OF CONTACTING A MANAGER?
PONYTAIL THEN DISAPPEARED AGAIN FOR ANOTHER 10 MINUTES BEFORE RETURNING SAYING HE HAD AUTHORISATION TO OFFER 2 BASIC BREAKFASTS! REALLY? 20 MINUTES TO CONFIRM £6.98?
PONYTAIL THEN DISAPPEARED TO KITCHEN FOR 7 MINUTES TO CHECK ENTITLEMENT BUT CHOSE TO SERVE ANOTHER CUSTOMER BEFORE RETURNING. REALLY? 7 MINUTES TO CONFIRM TWO BREAKFASTS?
WE ASKED PONYTAIL FOR HIS NAME BUT PONYTAIL STATED HE DID NOT HAVE TO RELEASE HIS NAME AND WE COULD COMPLAIN TO WEATHERSPOONS! REALLY? A SHIFT MANAGER WHO IS UNABLE TO MANAGE A SIMPLE CUSTOMER REQUEST?
PONYTAIL BECAME AGITATED AND STATED HE DID NOT NEED TO DEAL WITH US AND THEN ORDERED US TO LEAVE! REALLY? A PUB SHIFT MANAGER UNABLE TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS?
WEATHERSPOONS REALLY NEED TO UP THEIR GAME AND AT THE VERY LEAST EMPLOY PEOPLE WHO HAVE A BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
RECOMMENDATION;
1. PONYTAIL SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM ANY CUSTOMER FACING ROLE OR ANY ROLE INVOLVING RESPONSIBILITY UNTIL CAPABLE OF DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS AND RESPONSIBILITY.
2. WEATHERSPOONS, WHEATSHEAF CHEADLE. HOT BREAKFASTS, FAST SERVICE AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Poor bar staff manager
First weathespoon to tell me not to use the app if you just want a pint. After going to get the pint myself I was told to queue up like everyone else. We was a table with 6 people we had all eaten just wanted a drink. This is the first weathespoon I've ever been told not to use the app

Weatherspoons latest money making scheme , if you have a pint and a meal at their pubs and forget to comply with registering car registration details.......you get £45.00 fine,
Does'ent matter if you can prove by bank statements that you were in the pub, still get fined.
Does'nt matter if you contact weatherspoons , they say its nothing to do with them.
Family trip away
Visited jdwetherspoons The Shrewsbury 21/23rd November 2021for evening meal & breakfast, on both visits the service was very efficient & friendly from all of the staff .They are constantly busy stocking the shelves etc when not serving customers. A very well run place from what I could see ,very impressive & overall a great experience 👏 😊
