Well what can I say...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! SHOUTS OUT TO REBECCA (CHEF)!!! And the polite other members of staff.
I visited here yesterday ordered fish and chips as I had done in The Sir Micheal Balcon Ealing branch. I was with a friend who ate with me at the Ealing branch (See other review) and we were so dissapointed with the meal my friend vowed never to eat from Wetherspoons again. However I love me a bit of Wetherspoons so I asked my friend to accompany myself and another family member to the Botwell Inn restaurant. I ordered two meals, fish and chips, bao bun and wings, as my friend refused to eat, on receiving my order my friend changed his mind and asked for a meal. All I can say is thanks I got my Wetherspoons friend back thanks to your clean venue, well presented and cooked food. I never got to take a picture (see Google review) of the full plate as my friend couldn't wait to tuck in...lol

Had a traditional breakfast today at Ilkley, At £4.95 is not expensive but the meal was disgusting.hard fryed egg, sausage looked as though it's been kept warm, horrible. Most of the meal was Luke warm at best. All in all not a pleasant experience. Won't be rushing back.

Been going to the posset Cup in Portishead bristol for a fews years now but over the last couple of months it's as gone down hill the food comes out cold the cup for tea or coffee are dirty the staff don't seem to have a clue what they are doing only to be on their phones instead of working I used to recommend this place to my friends and family but won't be anymore

Food prices gone through the roof. Paid £15 in a taxi to come down, large mixed grill out of stock, brunch out of stock, a lot of curries out of stock, a lot of burgers out of stock, fish and chips out of stock - Rochdale Moon under the Water's reasoning: "a very inexperienced member of staff". Well why are they not trained properly then?

A takeaway and a beer from the off license would have been substantially cheaper - even before factoring in an Uber.

Also - price increase on food appears to have killed business off. Outrageously quiet, even on Monday - might as well of not bothered opening.

Rochdale are ordinarily an excellent Wetherspoons - the best of 20 or so I have visited. Head office have killed this off by pricing out a poorer community.

Went to go for a family birthday meal for my nephews 11th birthday at the beefeater but got let down and everywhere was fully booked at last minute so went into jd Wetherspoons perkin in Taunton and wish we never bothered.
Out of the 9 meals and a £100+ later there was a good bit of food on our table.
2 steaks were cremated after being asked for meal, 2 beef burgers were burned and dryer than a nuns chuff.
Cod was… well I don’t even think it was cod as it is half a tonne of batter on it and well well over cooked and got sent back. All meat was well over cooked and burned. Helpful worker did try his best but manager was a complete tit and didn’t know what to say! And just said thank-you!
He couldn’t manage to make a bacon sandwich let alone manage a restaurant!
Chef needs to never Cook food again and the manager needs to go stack shelves in Tesco!!

Went for a walk with my dog around Chapeltown and wanted a drink so called to the waggon and horses in Chapeltown and sat in what they call the beer garden, yet I was told I couldn't sit there due to me having a dog? I'm outside, she said I could sit on the front next to the road! My dog is a rescue and nervous of traffic so that wouldn't work. Why on earth are dogs not allowed even inside let alone in a beer garden??

Visited the newly reopened Wetherspoons in derby today (standing order)
Well what a disappointment won’t be back again.
Ordered three meals one large mixed grill no egg available fair enough with issues at the moment about egg availability but no add on offered to replace it
Double American burger patties were pale brown no colour one slice of gerkin and not hot enough to melt cheese
My daughter had boneless chicken meal unbelievably it was hot but smaller pieces of chicken overdone.
Sat opposite the kitchen maybe staff should spend more time cooking than using utensils as microphones and messing around.
To top it all off I visited toilet and was followed in by a member of male staff who urinated then sent a couple of text messages whilst I washed my hand he left toilets and went downstairs no hand washing in toilets I returned to my table opposite kitchen and watched him walk straight to servery pick up cutlery and two meals and took it to a table still no hand washing he then coughed into his hand and returned to servery and collected another meal guess what still no hand washing.
I did not complain as there was staff sat everywhere eating there bresk time meals at twelve pm and no obvious manager around our table was wiped on arrival then a pile of menus and read newspapers dumped back on middle of table why wipe the table
The worst food practises I have seen out in long time especially as we are meant to still be covid aware

Came with two disabled adults and staff to the Full House in Hemel Hempstead. Decor very tired. The wait for food was lengthy but then they were busy. Food arrived without accompanying sides/sauces with no explanation or apology. Two bowls of chips arrived 20 min after ordering even though mine came out promptly. All ordered at same time. All staff very surly apart from one waitress. Most tables were complaining about their orders. The saving grace was the wonderful Jordan. Polite and accommodating. Rushing here and there correcting orders and apologising all with a smile on his face. I said that they should make him manager to which he replied that he was in fact the manager. Great job Jordan in rescuing our meal out.

The man in the wall. Wimborne. Food here used to be very good value. Todays breakfast was absolutely disgusting. Totally inedible. All our meals went back. Solid hard poached eggs Benedict. Soggy un toasted muffins. My wife’s avocado and poached egg was vile. Again soggy un toasted muffins and solid poached egg. In the end we ended up with toast and jam. Even that had to go back. Not shocked to see the place empty and uneaten meals left. We won’t be back. We had to drive some where else to get a meal. Disgraceful place. The cooking from the kitchen is sloppy and staffing changes are a must. Absolutely no thought or care in what they are throwing out.
However the waiting staff were polite.
Also there was a notice advising of no bacon. So I asked if I could have some black pudding or sausage to make up for no bacon. Totally refused by the kitchen. If you cannot supply what’s on your menu then atleast meet your paying customers half way and provide a small reasonable request. Absolute joke.

Why do staff find it difficult to keep tables clean and free of used glasses walked in at 4.15 not one clean table and dirty glasses everywhere.
Such a shame could be a good pub

Seems to me there are double standards. Groups making noise and shouting, but if you get upset and are grieving you get barred.
Maybe to do with little man syndrome, from the bar manager lol can only pick on woman on their own.
Strange how the big bartender served me when the short manager wasn't there, but told me I was barred when he was in today

I went into the York Palace in Llanelli South Wales on Tuesday 6th September, I ordered a pint which was fine ,but the table that I was on was covered with glasses and not cleaned, I had to take the glasses up myself, and when I went up for a second pint ,the Manageress was serving behind the bar and she served the man next to me and walked away leaving me standing there for 10 minutes, I didn't get served and ended up walking out , it was disgusting the way that I was treated.

On holiday down here what a shambles....all week we've visited and had loads of staff no complaints..Saturday what a different story my husband spent half hour queuing at the bar ..so as soon as he was back I ordered on app only to wait another 15/20 minutes for our drinks in the end I had to go and get the drinks ...and staff were rude no oh I'm sorry for your wait ..totally unacceptable for a small town I won't be revisiting

I just had.meal at wether spoon in Ripon North Yorkshire,it was cold chips to me warm in micware.wont go back there, bar tops wet.

Been in to whetherspoons lots of children running around and screaming, not against children in the pub but not uncontrolled.
Tables not clean bar sticky not clean at all.
Food average not really worth the money.
Drinks can be hit and miss.
Staff unfriendly and miserable.
Would rather go to a proper pub and pay the extra.

I have been going to robuck,Nottingham,weatherspoons,for 12yrs,got diagnosed with cancer,thought I would make the most of it ,before I went in for OP,got tipsey,I was drinking white wine,and a girl joined us at table,who,ended up spiking my drink,running off,they bared me for 2 months,and said I was swearing,which I believe I wasn't,but was tipsey,never caused any trouble,to anyone,said U can come back in 2months ,for a trail,think it his over the top,and feel ,unfairly treated,I was leaving when the 2 managers,came over,could understand it if I was causing trouble,angry,that some random girl,can do this and I'm the one that got punished,mangers need getting rid off,apparently this girl being doing this before,ha,she's not been spotted in needs police,to get hold of this girl in general,I'm,angry with it all in general,Maggie.

We visit wetherspoons regularly especially the one in Scarborough which is faultless, we went to posterngate in York and the food was terrible the meat was raw so we complained and all they did was bring us some fresh meat, won't go there again

Was an absolute chocka full of people. Table was not cleaned until food ordered from App arrived.
Shrugged shoulders from staff not helpful.
One out of five meals ok.
Four were over cooked, strange as its food to order.
Will use again as in general overall has been good.
Shame it had a slip.

Excellent food and service, Maisie one of the managers was so helpful and accommodating she truly is an asset to the company.

Everything was fine with food
Order a cocktail twice and one other drink at first. We then we and ordered another 2! We didn’t get iD for these
We decide to order our last drinks and leave afterwards to then be asked for ID which one of the person didn’t have no id on them so then I insisted to talk to the manager whivh they repeatedly told me they have to id everyone on the table for us to be served drinks! Whivh then I said you have to id my daughter too? (3 year old) it didn’t make sense to me when there was other people who had kids on the table! Didn’t make sense how I was getting asked to id after I’ve ordered drinks before! The staff memeber called Abby in the place she was very rude about the situation she even went out Her way to come check our table to see if anyone else has brought it for us! Terrible service! Manager was not making sense at all
