I had a very disappointing experience at iSmash today.

I booked my appointment online because my iPhone had a charging port issue. Since there was no specific option for charging port repair during booking, I selected “battery issue” and clearly mentioned in the comments that my problem was with the charging port, not the battery.

When I arrived at the store, I again clearly explained to the staff member that I did NOT have a battery issue and asked him to check the comments in my booking. He confirmed this and told me he would clean the charging port, which would take around 1.5 hours.

However, when I returned to collect my phone, I was charged £69 and informed that the battery had been replaced because my appointment was booked under “battery issue.” This was shocking and unacceptable. I never approved a battery replacement, and my battery health was perfectly fine before the repair.

This feels extremely misleading and unprofessional. Any repair or part replacement should only be done with clear customer consent. I trusted your service, but this experience has left me very disappointed.

I booked a repair based upon the 1 hour fix, only to be told it would take 2 hours. When I returned 2 hours later the repair had'nt started and I waited a further 20 minutes.

Just had a new screen fitted on my i pad, i was in a bit of a rush, so they did it for me in less than 2 hours and my i pad was like new again. Fantastic service.

I travelled to the store in Guildford to get my MacBook Air 13” battery replaced. Staff were polite and helpful. They replaced my battery and gave it a clean. They charged me £129 which I thought was very reasonable because I had seen quotes for up to £500 elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing service. I thought I had a cracked screen so paid for a replacement and posted away. The chap phoned me first thing the following day to say it wasn't cracked at all (the screen protector had done its job!) and they gave it a good clean up and refunded the difference (which was most of it). Brilliant quick service and would highly recommend and will definitely use again in future.

Great service. Up front pricing. I had a very smashed screen repaired on my iPad. This resulted in some change in the home button, but again, this was made clear up front. It was repaired same day and I got a call to inform me.

Took a pixel 7a for battery replacement. Busy day for them so took almost 2 hours. When finished and I asked how much they said its free, Google scheme. Great service and honest.

Repair & battery replacement in under 2 hours with no ripoff costs great!

I was in a real bind with a broken Google pixel phone screen, but the staff Eliza in charge saved the day. Eliza replaced the entire display in less than an hour while I waited nearby. The screen looks factory-fresh, the touch response is perfect, and the pricing was very fair. Super friendly team and incredibly efficient service. I won’t go anywhere else for repairs!

Dishonest, aggressive, and slow. I was promised 3-4 business days - it has taken over 7. When I asked about it, they said they never promised any length of time. They claimed the parts were still on the way, until I came into the store then they are magically there. They are giving shorter repair windows to get business they wouldn't get if they gave accurate windows. 2 whole weeks without a phone that another store could have done in a few hours? A joke.

Very helpful staff, know what they are talking about. Price given upfront, paid for after the job is done at their request.

I had a fantastic experience at iSmash Leicester today. My SIM card tray was broken, and I was worried it would be a costly repair. However, Karan handled it quickly and professionally, saving me around £450 in the process! Exceptional service and huge savings—I can’t thank Karan enough for his help.

I bought some apple headphones from the London Bridge store. They were clearly fake and bad quality. When I try to get a refund, they weren’t having it. Their business model is based on the fact that you buy and travel onwards never calling them out more expensive than the Apple store for fake product. do not shop here

Don't bother if you have a Samsung. Was told at the Harrow store they do not repair Samsung. Not very good customer service either!

Edinburgh ISmash -Marc was fantastic , I brought my iPad to him in a panic as it’s suddenly stopped charging 3 weeks before my final exams ! He was able to help me with it and ultimately fix it . He even helped me understand the world of iCloud and how to choose certain things to back up !
I cannot recommend Marc and Ismash enough. Obviously I hope I never need them again but if I do I absolutely will becoming back !

i booked appointment last 24 December for replacement inner screen Google pixel when I arrive Chiswick store so staff can’t do replacement it phone to Google so out of date warranty waste my fare from Cardiff

Wasting time, been booked twice and at the end they said don't have parts, avoid this repair shop try to fix your devices somewhere else

I took my handset into iSmash Edinburgh for a replacement battery and Jordan, the advanced technician, went above and beyond for me after noticing a previously unidentified fault when he opened the handset up. He explained the fault to me, how long it would take to complete the job and got the work done on time. My phone is now as good as new again!
