My iPhone 13 Pro Max charge dock had failed and was having to use a MagSafe charger. The Apple Store only repair the dock as a refurbished exchange at £640. I booked a service on line at iSmash and got an appointment same day.

I was attended to by Dias who spoke very clearly, which was important as I am deaf. He explained the job and what was involved. He checked to see if lint in the port was the cause of the problem, which would have simple to remove without replacing the dock (I had already done this so was expecting it needed replaced.)

I then asked about the battery, which was 4 years old and was showing 83% of original capacity. I wondered if it would be be worth replacing that at the same time. With no hard sell, he explained that many people would get more use out of the battery at that level. However, I often use the GPS for navigation and take a lot of photos and videos on remote trips, so I had been finding I needed to recharge the phone with a power bank in late afternoon.

I decided to go ahead with battery replacement as well. I had a £10 gift code for two services (at the same time) from the iSmash appointment email, so the total cost for the two jobs was £138 compared with the £640 Apple would have charged for a refurbed unit.

Dias said the time for two jobs would be about 2 hours as he wanted to check it was charging properly after the repair. It was ready in exactly two hours.

The phone is now charging normally and, as far as I can tell, battery life between charges is looking very promising.

A screen replaced on an iPhone 12 became faulty after just a few days. I returned the phone to the store in Canary Wharf this morning and was told that they would not replace the screen as, in their opinion, the issue was down to impact damage despite explaining to them that the phone had not been dropped. I am extremely disappointed by their poor attitude to post sales customer service and will not be using their services again. For the prices they charge I would expect far better service!

The London Tottenham Court Road store was truly terrible. Brought my phone in for an on the day battery replacement appointment. I waited 2 hours instead of the promised 1 hour repair, and during that time they broke the display and they wanted to give it back the next day. Instead of emailing me the next day to tell me, they made me come in to the store to tell me they couldn't fix it and had to send it away for repairs. And now, after all this, the camera flash is not working. Truly abysmal service, will never use this company again.

Booked a battery replacement for my s23U and from the moment I got it back, which was fairly quickly, the phone has been struggling with network connectivity. Most times it needs a reset to pick up network/data which doesn't seem to doing it anymore and it's pretty much a wifi tablet now. They basically critically damaged the main antenna. Have provided them with this feedback and no response since then.
Update: Have since sent the device to samsung to be checked and I was told that a few main components such as antenna and motherboard are damaged and to top it up, the battery is a non official one. Amounting to a repair cost of £470. This is pure FRAUD and it seems to be backed by Samsung themselves

I took my phone to the Meadowhall store for a battery replacement under warranty from google. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The repair was done very quickly, overall great experience 👍

Really happy about the whole experience in Southampton - really kind owner, quick, super-experienced and an all-round pleasure. And a phone that feels like new at the end of it. 5 star, for sure.

My Nokia phone was running very slow, I went into a phone shop and the person there was very helpful and uninstalled lots of things. When I arrived home I could only talk to send anything
Went back to the shop today and was told Nokia is not our phone, go somewhere else. I went to iSmash and Sam (Leicester) informed me that the keyboard had been deleted. He was wonderful, reinstalled my keyboard, I did offer to buy a new phone, but he said that was fine. Sam was brilliant, thank you so much

iSmash Meadowhall Sheffield replaced the smashed front screen on my phone within an hour and were professional, skilled and friendly. I’d use them again with confidence.

Great experience at the Birmingham branch. Tony little office in the old Lewis’s building. Easy to book and helpful reception staff for the building. Got my son’s iPhone 12 battery replaced with a non-original battery. Works absolutely fine! No issues. Back to 100% health a very cost effective way to get a fast running, “just like new” phone again! Brilliant. Super quick turnaround too. We dropped it off and picked it up again a few hours later whilst we went to TOCA social and then lunch with the family during half-term holidays. Highly recommend. It was a bargain too as they had a good offer on! Way cheaper than Apple. £49 but with the offer it was only £25!

I went to the Leeds store. I had a fault on my iPhone 12 with the speaker not working, I was informed by technician it might need just cleaning.
So I left phone for cleaning, when I returned and we tried phone, the fault was still on.
So the technician explained a new speaker was needed, so I agreed with the price and the part was ordered, I returned two days later, at the time in the morning I was booked in .
I was informed the part , had not arrived, , would be in later that day ?
I returned two days later , and had my speaker fitted, iPhone works great now.
When I came to pay, I mentioned the inconvenience of having to visit the store twice, the manager technician apologised, and fit me a screen protector free also didn’t charge me for cleaning on first visit.
I was happy with the wonderful service I received and the friendliness of the staff
also informed I got 12 months warranty on repair.

I asked the guy to change only the battery, but he also changed my smashed front for free. Nice job 👍

My husbands iphone was taken into the Croydon store last December for a new battery. Whilst installing the battery the screen broke but they did replace it FOC. The screen has today failed after just 3 months and the store say that they have no record of them replacing the screen when they installed the new battery and the staff member is on holiday for 2 weeks. They now expect us to pay £99 for a new screen!

I arrived for my appointment to be told they can't do it as the Samsung system has been down all week!

The people working yesterday should have contacted me to avoid my wasted journey and time. This was not an unforeseen event and avoidable. Shows total lack of communication , respect and courtesy.

Took my phone in to get the battery replaced everything else was in perfect condition. Got given it back with a huge white line down the screen and now the phones is unusable.

I have been trying to cancel my mail in order since 27th February. I have emailed 3 times and went on the website and contacted them through that and still got no response from them.
