Apartment not cleaned properly - Interhome had poor service

We booked apartment through Interhome, which is the management company for this apartment. Stayed 9 nights for family ski vacation. Apartment is dated and not updated at all (probably from 1990s i would say). Upon arrival found hair in bed, old food under the table near tv, food stains along the baseboards of kitchen area, random hair and food specs on floor area. Not cleaned properly. I let Interhome know 3 days later, they said sorry you did not tell us within 48 hrs, so no help was given to remedy the issue, poor service. Apartment only had two rolls of toilet paper for 4 people and one trash bag for the 9 days, Interhome said that was on us.

Basically I would say pretty cheap on Interhome to provide guests this stuff and poor customer service to resolve any issues, no reason basic amenities can't be provided.. doesn't cost you much at all for price guest are paying.

Walk to train station area is about 15 min with ski gear on and two young kids. Taxi are about 21+ CHF for short rides (15 CHF min and extra on distance).

If we went back for ski trip I would suggest getting closer walk to Sonnega or train station area.

Please rest assured that our cleaning staff are thorough, and additional cleaning can be arranged immediately upon request, not too long from the time of arrival. As our holiday homes are fully self-catered, we do not offer cleaning services during the stay; a complete cleaning is performed after check-out. We have since ensured that a comprehensive cleaning has been conducted to prevent similar issues in the future. Additionally, consumables like toilet paper are not provided due to the self-catering nature, and guests should plan accordingly for their stay. We apologize if this was not clear in the property description. Information on distances to amenities and attractions is available in the listing and can be verified using the map provided. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and hope you can consider visiting our holiday homes again with these in mind.

Worst costomer service

Worst costomer service. If you don't want to ruin your holiday, don't use this one. Booked mine 10- 9 months before my holiday, then they cancelled my reservation lessthan a month!!!! All flights, activities, rental cars paid already and now we don't have a place to stay.

No water no help

Hello, we traveled to one of your properties in in Wengen Switzerland. We have reached out to your customer service and the local company in Wengen that provided the rental. It has been over a month and we have had no response whatsoever from anyone following up on our stay.
We were without hot water, two nights in a row, unable to shower after two days of skiing therefore, we had to get up very very early in the morning to shower. If we wanted to be able to have hot water we contacted your group several times with no help, I explained how disappointing it would be if they came here to the United States and went to the beach all day and came back to have no hot water. We also left behind several expensive items and we reached out to them to have them ship them back to us. Of course we would pay for shipping and no one responded to any of our emails about shipping our items back. It’s the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced well there has been no customer service. HMNZZZHT9C Our booking number.

I just want to update my review. I reached out to the local branch in Wengen three separate times with no response. To get our belongings back .
As far as the water for some reason, you don’t understand. We woke up early in the morning. Went skiing. We did not shower prior to skiing. All day long. We were not using hot water. Because we were not home. Each unit has their own tank. So when we called to put in the complaint, they told us that somebody in the unit must have used all of our hot water. We were not home. We were skiing impossible for us to use the water when we were skiing.
they also suggested that maybe somebody else in the building used all of our hot water. We told them we had an individual hot water heater. They did not even understand that. I am just saying if you came for a vacation here in Florida where we are, From went to the beach all day long came home to take a hot shower and could not for two days in a row you would be compensated. do not blame us. We were not there to use the hot water.

Regarding the hot water issue, the boiler in the property requires some time to heat the water after it has been used. This is a normal process for electric heated boilers, and it can sometimes take longer if large amounts of water were used earlier. We're sorry for any inconvenience this caused during your stay. Regarding the jacket left behind, we advise guests to contact the local service office directly when items are forgotten in the property, as they are best positioned to assist with retrieving and sending them back.
