I love these candles and they have never failed to impress me. The jewels alone are beautiful and worth the wait, and as for the quality of the candles, and their beautiful scent! What can I say?! I have bought them both for myself and as a gift and they have always been greatly appreciated. Definitely recommended!

Ordered a candle as a birthday gift. No delivery and when I chased it up was told it had been delivered. Further emails late was told it was still in their warehouse and if I wanted the candle I had to pay an extra £4.99 for redelivery or a refund could be paid. I refused to pay pay for redelivery and asked for a refund. The refund received was for £34.99 no delivery charge was included £4.99. Very poor customer service, would not use this company again. Still waiting for the full refund, this is now a month later.

Purchased a candle with gift in for my mums 75th birthday, there was no gift in the candle. I complained to imperial candles but because my mum never kept the empty jar or took photos there is nothing I can do. It was a surprise for my mum, she didn’t know there should of been a pair of earrings in the candle she just thought it was a candle for her special birthday, so why would she keep and empty candle jar or take photos after it had all burnt!!! Customer service not helpfully at all!

Third candle I’ve ordered on a 3-5 delivery schedule and third candle I haven’t received within 3-5 days. What’s the point of paying to have it delivered in a time frame this lazy company can’t adhere to. I am reporting them to trading standards now because they completely lie about their services. First candle took over four weeks to arrive but according to them that was because of their Christmas break, second candle was two weeks and this third candle I ordered a week ago.

We bought a candle for my Mother-in-law as a Mother's Day gift. Although the foil was in the candle there were no earrings in the foil.
My partner contacted customer services who say there is absolutely no way the foil could be there without the earrings, essentially calling my partner a liar.

Had over 10 deliveries arrive in good time and with amazing scented candles in it

Had some beautiful jewellery out of them too!

The burn time is accurate and with a clean burn and the smell lasts the whole candle which is nice

I have burnt about 6 of my candles and not been disappointed at all!

Can't wait to see what new scents I can get

Would give 0 stars if I could bought a birthday candle for my friend 2 weeks ago it has not arrived it have not even been sent. I emailed customer service just to receive a generic email so unprofessional, now I have to buy another present. I don’t understand why companies are allowed to lie about their delivery times I will never buy from this company again. Why sell products if u don’t have the materials or stock to deliver your product.

I had to write another review as im so disappointed beyond belief. I burned my candle to reveal a bracelet which was not part of the unicorn dreams it was from the frida kahlo collection. Ive already wrote a review about pre ordering taking 2 months for this unicorn dreams candle so this takes the biscuit. Good job i research there collections to find what collection it was from .i don't even like frida so why would i want one of her bracelets . I can’t put 0 stars it won’t let me .
Ive messaged them many times but get the same generic reply each time megan will be busy .

Appealing customer service. I paid extra for a fast delivery (3-5 working days) for a Mother's Day gift, but the candles did not arriv3me in time. I requested a refund for the delivery charge, but was fobbed off with a generic response.

Placed an order that was guaranteed dispatch by the 17th of March, Was not notified of any delays and had to contact them to be told there's supplier issues. It wouldn't be too bad but I've received atleast 6 promotional emails in that time encouraging more purchases despite not delivering on the last one. Probably the worst customer service I've encountered.

Beautiful perfume. These candles burn very well & for a long time filling the rooms they are in with scent. The jewellery is beautiful & such a lovely addition. I have started to use these candles for family & friends. The jars are so beautiful I up cycle them as gifts by decorating with transfers & filling with chocolates or other goodies.

I ordered a candle with a surprise ring and it came well in time for my wides birthday. It was well packaged. The ring lost one of the gems and I messaged and received a reply the following day. The lady called Emily was very helpful and offered to send me a replacement once they received a picture of the damaged ring. I will definitely be buying from them again.

I love that they smell great. & beautiful peice of jewellery.

Ordered as a Christmas gift, burnt all the way to the end and there was absolutely nothing in it! This was possibly the 6th candle I've had now and that's never happened before. Disappointing to say the least.
Ive emailed customer services but after reading some of these reviews I'm concerned I won't hear back from them :-(

It's such a shame because I was gifted a candle from here a while ago, and it smelt lovely and came with such beautiful earrings. I recently purchased one for my sister, and it had not moved in a week. After asking twice through email and trying to call the number and being hung up upon I have no idea if I will actually receive this candle and what will happen to my money... disappointing.

2 weeks ago, my friend gave me my Christmas gift. It hadn’t arrived before Christmas although she ordered it in November, so she gave it to me late. She was embarrassed and upset, but I told her not to worry. I opened the gift which was a scented candle by Imperial , and began burning it over a couple of days. On day two, my eyes became swollen, and so red my husband took me to A &E, where I was told it was a severe allergic response, most likely due to the candle scent as I’d done nothing else which might have caused an issue. It took 2 days for my eyes to go down, and left me very light sensitive. I’ve not told my friend, as I think she’d be really upset, but I think would be buyers should be aware of this issue. It does say on the website that products contain allergens, but I’ve been using Diptyque for nearly 30 years, and NEVER had an issue……..but I’ll never buy, use or recommend Imperial Candles to anyone !!!

Ive ordered multiple times from Imperial candles now (5 candles, 3 rings and 2 pairs of earrings) and whilst delivery times are slow, the candles were lovely, as was the jewellery inside. Ive only received low value (£20-30) jewellery thus far but still nice. I woyld also say that whilst the candles smell nice, you arent getting something with the strength of a Yankee candle in terms of fragrance. But I think given the novelty of secret jewellery and a loong burn time, they are still worth it.

The product themselves are good but the customer service is poor. I ordered candles on 8th Dec fpr xmas and it came on 27th Dec- thats terrible. I had also emailed them prior to xmas and was told it was 100% being delivered before xmas. Ive emailed them twice now with no response still

Ordered a happy birthday candle just after Christmas for my niece on the 23rd of December, her birthday was on the 3rd if January so it had plenty of time to get there only for it to arrive on the 17th of January which was way too late.
My wife and I decided to burn it as it was too late to give to her for a gift and it doesn't smell at all not one bit.
We have brought of this company before and the service has been outstanding but not this time round, crap service and product. I'm not going to say never again but not for a while at least.
