Disappointed my order apparently was delivered near my back door, don't know why as front door is propped open, however it is NO WHERE TO BE SEEN, can't speak to anyone, telephone mail box is full, no reply to emails!!!!!! This is a birthday present for Sunday 6th June

What an amazing gift the book is. The presentation of the book and the packaging was excellent. If you looking to buy a gift for someone who has everything, this is the perfect gift.

Delighted with the Arsenal book I ordered for my Brother. I had it personalised & it arrived very quickly and it’s beautiful, great quality. It’s a keepsake.

Ordered many many times and always been excellent. But no longer can you order a bespoke little card with small succinct manful message. That has genuinely made this gift far less appealing. The card can’t cost more than pennies to create and at £75 there should be scope. Very poor change.

Great Service and quick delivery. Bought a paper for my 90 yr Aunt. It was a genuine newspaper from the day she was born. She was over the moon with it. She is still an avid reader of newspapers so this was an ideal present for her. Well worth the money to have seen her face when opening the gift box.

Looks very professional and an added personal touch with the recipients name.

A surprise birthday present.
Attractively packaged and lots of relevant material.
A whole decade missing (1980-1990) so maybe a touch more attention to this type of detail.
An original concept, good that monochrome and colour incorporated.
A querky (large) size will present a bookshelf challenge for sure!
All-in-all a good product and a very welcome present for this Tangerine!

I just celebrated my 60th birthday and I bought the personalized birthday newspaper book for myself and it's really neat. Every front page of the NY Daily News from my birthdate on. It's a nice look back in time seeing what events happened on your birthday every year. The cover design is awesome too! I would recommend this to anybody who wants to buy a special birthday gift.

Havnt received my item

The book is GORGEOUS! I bought it for my mother for her Birthday as a diehard tennis fan and she is obsessed. The perfect keepsake coffee-table book. All the ordering and delivery was faultless, highly recommend.

Not impressed!

I ordered an item from this company 5 days ago and paid priority delivery so I would have it in time for a family member's birthday this weekend. Not only has the item not even been despatched yet but I have had no update or notification from this company that there would be a delay. I only know because I contacted them to get an update. I've then asked if I can change the delivery address so it goes directly to the recipient and been told no! So I've paid a ridiculous amount for priority delivery and now I'll have to pay again to post it on….when it eventually arrives that is!

It was Just well below standard. I ordered a Birthdate Book for both of my Daughters and it was ALL the UK Mirror that does not really have any worthwhile News on the front page. to be honest it was not good but the Idea is Super. This Company Failed me with the Exinusion so I am Very Disappointed in the Selection of News Paper Used

Used the address lookup bar during the final steps of paying for my order. Saw my full address line come up in full so selected it and proceeded to next steps. Only to find out days later that their system has removed the house number. I replicated the steps thinking it must have been my error, but it did it right in front of my eyes. Very poor customer service as 1) no one contacted me to advise the address is incomplete, so they sent out the order, which is now being returned and will not be here on time and 2) they now want to charge another delivery fee

Whilst I appreciate that I should have checked the address in the end, this has never happened with any (and I've used many) other address lookup functions I've used, hence didn't know it was physically possible. What's the point of allowing to select full address, including house number from the list, if you then going to remove parts of it???

I ordered one of these the end of February for a special birthday present through Etsy,it was supposed to be delivered by march 3rd but it didn't arrive so I am now awaiting a refund

So disappointing, avoid and save your time.
Keen to take money however no service provided, paid for Urgent Delivery and all I get excuses. More than week around and only God knows when order will be delivered. Waste of money and time! Wish they would tell me this on checkout process….

Our delivery dates can vary depending on a number of things including book format, final delivery address, and which of our workshops is processing the order. While we do everything we can to ensure our timings are accurate throughout the order process, on rare occasions the delivery estimate may update prior to or just after shipping.

Looking at your details, it does appear that our workshop has experienced a delay in fulfilling your order, taking longer than usual to prepare your order and get it on its way. After speaking with our operations team, we've been told the workshop is expecting to catch up and ship very soon. At the moment they've not given us an exact range, but estimate your order should ship within 3-5 business days.

Again, we'd like to reassure you that in nearly all cases the wiggle room in our estimates does ensure orders arrive on the intended dates, so we're quite hopeful you'll have your order in good time. Of course should it not arrive when expected, please do let us know and we'll be happy to help further.

Terrible customer service and delivery times. I ordered a newspaper book as a gift for a 90th Birthday, and paid extra for Urgent delivery, but a week later I still haven't received it (and missed the birthday). I have complained to Historic Newspapers, who have just said that it is delayed and they'll ship it when then l they can. Wow, this is incredibly unprofessional and the only compensation they offered was £2! Be careful ordering from this company, they are extremely slow at delivery.

This company is fantastic, the album we received was fantastic, full of great newspaper pages from years gone by. Fabulous present for my father in law. Definitely recommend

Amazing company, extremely helpful and patient. Ordered some albums for special birthday gifts, fast delivery and excellent quality. Would highly recommend this company. 5 star service.
