Extremely disappointed.
I ordered a book on the History of the San Francisco 49ers American Football team as a birthday present for a friend only to discover that the book I got through the post was on Snooker, a sport my friend has little to no interest in. The cover was San Francisco 49ers but the book itself was on Snooker. I'm hoping to exchange it for the book I actually ordered but failing that, I will be demanding a refund.

Very easy to order and delivery was quick. The newspaper was very well wrapped and the standard box I ordered was very nice. Would recommend as it makes a lovely birthday present.

Book arrived in great time in fact it was early so happy with it customer service was great and very quick to reply to an email I sent would totally recommend these guys quality 100%

I ordered a book for my mother's 90th birthday, hence a lot of front pages to read. It arrived withing the promised time and I am really pleased with quality of this absolutely unique gift. I'll be letting a lot of people know about this as I only found it by googling ( birthday gifts for a 90 yr old).

The book took longer to arrive than promised. It was a 21st gift and I am so disappointed. The quality is ok I hadnt realised it was the daily mirror and it is a book of 21 of the most depressing front covers you have ever read. Its so bad. Makes you realise how horrific newspapers are. Don't buy if you want a fun uplifting gift. This just makes you want to jump off a bridge its so depressing.

Very disappointed with the overall experience.

I paid extra for express delivery based on the estimated times given at checkout, but the order still hasn’t progressed as expected and communication throughout has been poor. I had to chase for updates myself and was given delivery assurances that still don’t appear to match the tracking information available.

Really frustrating experience, especially as the order was for an important occasion. Would not have paid for express delivery had I known this would happen.

I had high hopes for this personalised keepsake but my disappointment was palpable when I opened the package. Firstly the “Premium” Giftbox was far too large for the newspaper book, making it look like they simply threw it in the first box they could find. The website image didn’t show any gaps. Then I opened the book to check the headlines and was immediately struck by the blank first pages. I wondered where my message had gone. Turning to the next page, I found an explanation of the book’s purpose and then, underneath my message, a different explanation. This disjointed presentation ruined the personal touch I had hoped for. The quality of the print was also disappointing. It reminded me of a printer with clogged heads, as if Historic Newspaper were doing the bare minimum and charging premium prices. The only positive aspect was the relatively quick delivery. However, I wouldn’t recommend their books.

Expected the newspaper to be in excellent condition. It was not. It was folded in two and had two small holes right the way through it. Very disappointed considering how expensive it was.

The book of birthday front pages was delivered on time and is nicely presented. The problem is that all the front pages in the book are from The Mirror, so there isn’t really much news as such, just a lot of gossip and scandal. While it’s definitely been interesting to see how little the tabloids have changed over the past 80 years, my Dad would have been much more interested in a book of front pages from a variety of newspapers that gave a taste of national/international events. I could tell he was a bit disappointed, to be honest. So, overall, a nice concept and well presented, but please make it clearer at the point of purchase that all the front pages you use are from The Mirror.

The customer service is simply fantastic! Responsive, helpful and always looking out for the customer. I entered the incorrect zip code in my address and the package was lost. They fixed it with a new order code, and I received my F1 book shortly after my interaction with them. It's well done and my daughter loves it! A great company with a great team.

Fantastic service. Makes a wonderful gift for someone to memorise an important date. I didn’t find the service until late but they managed to express deliver to me in 2 days!! Beautiful presentation and I know my grandparents will love it

Ordered a Millwall Book for my father's 80th birthday arrived when stated great gift very pleased.

I had a great experience with their customer service. Very reactive and supportive to find options and solutions when my parcel got lost. All finished well as I did receive the product and we were thrilled with our Historic Newspaper book too !

purchased a football-themed book as a 60th birthday present and paid extra for both the presentation box and personalisation. Firstly, this is a genuinely great idea and I was very impressed with the content inside — it was comprehensive, well put together, and made a really special gift.

Unfortunately, the downside was the quality on arrival. The book itself was bent and would not sit closed, leaving a noticeable gap, which wasn’t acceptable given the price paid.

That said, I contacted customer services and they were helpful, offering either a refund or a replacement, so I was pleased with the support I received. Overall, I was just disappointed that the quality wasn’t up to standard in the first place, particularly considering the cost.

The whole experience was great from ordering to customer service and delivery. Love what I ordered it was for my Dads 90th.

After my money was taken but my book is still in the basket I am trying to get a reply from Skye the agent on wether I should order my book and pay again and reclaim the original money via PayPal. As posted on here previously the customer service is extremely poor and I am running out of time.
