My clothes were picked up and dropped off at my hotel exactly on time and were cleaned and folded with a nice scent to them. Everything went smoothly and I will use their service again on my next trip to London.

As a single mom of 3, hello laundry saved my life when I had fallen behind and literally thought we would all drown in our laundry without intervention. Hello laundry not only “disappeared” the mountains of laundry, but did great job washing and drying everything, and nothing got lost. I now have no shame in paying for help and will definitely choose hello laundry when it gets overwhelming. Thank you!

Pick up today between 1-3pm. During this time they email to say they are short of drivers - am I ok for an evening pick up. I replied at 2pm and said No, please pick up in given time slot. Emails back and forth rather than just picking up the phone to make an instant agreement. Did not answer my simple question, if you pick up later will you still deliver to agreed time of next day 1.3pm. Three times asked the question. Then emails and simply cancels the order. What a complete waste of my time and a huge inconvenience. I didn't even insist on same day. I gave them enough time to schedule and deliver the following day. Now I am stuck having to pay for an urgent service with someone else. Not happy at all.

Great service. Clear and easy instructions. Washed well. Pick up and delivery excellent. Will definitely use again.

Used Hello Laundry for dry cleaning and my jacket came back with the coating completely stripped off the buckle and all eight buttons. When I raised it, I was told the cleaning process was “performed flawlessly” and “strictly adhered to the manufacturer’s care label”, which doesn’t add up. If the process was flawless, the item wouldn’t have come back damaged. You can’t claim a perfect process and a damaged result in the same sentence.

Their position was that hardware coatings reacting to their cleaning solvents falls outside their liability, and that this is simply a risk I have to accept. What’s more concerning is that this damage would have been visible to whoever packed the jacket before returning it, nothing was flagged to me. No note, no call, no email. I had to find it myself and raise a complaint.

In my case, the cost to replace the fittings is modest, so I can absorb it. But that’s beside the point. If you’re sending anything of real value, a good coat, a favourite jacket, anything with metal or coated hardware, think carefully before using this service. Just be very careful, because you might be lumbered with a significant repair bill to put right their mistake, incompetence, or negligence. At minimum, I’d suggest putting a note on your order asking them to confirm their cleaning solvents won’t react with any buttons, buckles, or hardware before they proceed, because that’s clearly not something they check or warn customers about as standard.

Spent £17.85 but had to put £20.00 into their account. Have sent 2 emails that have been completely ignored asking for the remaining monies to be put back into my account. I think its a lost cause as live overseas and will never use them again. Just another company that thinks it's fine to just ignore people. Washing came out as expected as only half a load.

I had my Devon duvet (wool filled) duvet cleaned here! Not all companies are able to do this wash - but Hello Laundry were able to do this - very happy!

I’ve had very mixed reviews about using hello laundry, first of all the first pick up time was very late. I was expecting my pick up to ride from between 1 to 3 PM and after waiting three hours intensionally at home I had to call customer service and they told me that the pick up was rearranged for 7-9:00pm. Mind you there was no emails or any update updates so these drivers come in at any given time without no warning.

The return process of my laundry was easy as they did arrive scheduled between the gap. However, upon receiving my clothes, it’s clear that there was no folding. All of the laundry in bunch together in one bag and it seems like that the person who is folding it gave half an ass. luckily the laundry was still warm by the time it got to me so I managed to fold it out myself before it wrinkled horribly.

This service is a luxury to have and not exactly something that you need so for the price that you pay it should be understandable that you get what you paid for. And folds is not part of this laundry service. Overall, you spend a lot of money and I’m very upset, some of my clothes are tinted, even though I paid for a separate wash, and I had to fold out my clothes myself when I literally paid a service to do so.

Overall, I don’t recommend coming to this place and please do not trust the website online as it makes you believe it’s credible. You’re better off going out somewhere else with another service that actually gives you the service you’re paying for.

Absolutely appalling experience.

I paid for a premium laundry service expecting my clothes to be returned in the same condition and quantity they were collected in. Instead, I was left missing around five pairs of shorts, including a brand new £40 pair of Calvin Klein shorts that I’d barely had the chance to wear.

I reported the issue immediately and even provided a detailed list of every missing item. Rather than offering a meaningful resolution, I was repeatedly told it was “not possible” for anything to have gone missing because of their process. That doesn’t change the fact that I never got my clothes back.

Being told your records say everything was returned is not the same as proving every item actually made it back to the customer. I was left out of pocket after paying for the service and then losing clothing that had been entrusted to them.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I won’t be trusting another laundry service with my clothes again.

Found them on google as they advertise heavily. Booking was easy, booked and got a confirmation they will come between 1-3pm to collect. I was charged £20 as a preauthorization or deposit. It’s 4pm, no sign of anyone coming to collect, no email or text update either about a delay? I try to call the phone number in the email and it says “number doesn’t exist” or “disconnected”.. I email them to inform them no one showed up and I’ve given the item to another drycleaner so they should refund me - the response is “We will come to collect at 6-8pm today.

What kind of company operates like this?!

Thank god they didn’t show up on time, if this is the front end I don’t want to imagine what happens in the backend! Would not want anything laundered by a company with such broken processes.

The actual laundry was fine (although there was a strong detergent smell even though I only asked for ironing) and the delivery and pick-up were both on time.

However, I was let down by the advertising. Most other competitors will advertise by default, the price of ironing of a shirt, trousers, blouse, etc.

I downloaded the app as I wanted to try a new provider, and saw that ironing-only services started from £1.45.

My bill came up to about £70, and I then noticed that shirts were £2.90 and the so-called £1.45 pricing was only for tea towels.

Yes, I ought to have read this more carefully. But app laundry providers know that customers then to be time-starved, and to list ironing-only pricing starts at £1.45, when it is for an item which is hardly being sent in for ironing (tea towels) is deliberately misleading. I think it is intentionally dishonest.

I will revert back to ihateironing and LaundryHeap.
