Bought a bed last year lovely looking outta on bed unfortunately one of the legs came off and split the wood it was on I rang the Swansea store told them what happened and all they could say was it was out of warranty by two weeks I am disappointed with this reaction hubby tried repairing it but the wood under neath is so thin I have emailed the to say I am not happy about this no one has bothered to email me back I certainly wouldn’t recommend them again awful service

We're sorry to read that you're disappointed with your experience.
When you initially contacted us regarding your bed, we explained that unfortunately the manufacturer's warranty had expired two weeks earlier. While this meant we were no longer obligated to provide a warranty replacement under our terms and conditions, we still wanted to see if we could assist.
Following this, you sent us an email explaining that the wooden support had broken and stating that you just needed us to know for future customers. As the email did not include a request for any further action, our understanding at the time was that you were simply providing feedback regarding the product rather than asking us to take any additional steps.
When your later email advised that you had contacted the Ombudsman, we had already begun making enquiries with the manufacturer to see whether replacement parts could be supplied free of charge as a gesture of goodwill, despite the bed being outside of its warranty period. These requests are entirely at the manufacturer's discretion, but we wanted to explore every possible option to assist.
Our Manager has since spoken with your husband, who advised that the bed had been repaired by himself and that if replacement parts could not be supplied free of charge, then no further action would be needed as you both were happy to continue using the bed as it is with the repair he has done.
He confirmed that the parts required would be a replacement headboard and footboard. We have since contacted the manufacturer requesting these parts at no cost and are currently awaiting their response, and if they can provide a replacement at no extra cost then we will be back in touch with yourselves.
While we believed we were waiting to provide you with a meaningful update once we had heard back from the manufacturer, we do recognise that we could have communicated this to you sooner. For that, we sincerely apologise.
We always aim to provide excellent customer service and, even where products are outside of their warranty period, we will often go above and beyond our obligations to try to help our customers, as we have done in this instance.
We will contact you as soon as we receive a response from the manufacturer regarding the replacement parts.

Yesterday i visited Happy Home Furnishers Unit 2B Phoenix Retail Park SA7 9EN. Firstly id like to say how i was shocked to see how big it was and how much choase it had, as from out side it looks tiny. I was greeted by sales assistant Greg who was frendly,knowledgeable, and above all wasn't pushy.
The quality and price was good and i ended up making a purchaseand everything was explained in full about delivery. I Can't recommend them enough!!!

Ordered a table and 6 chairs Ottoman bed with headboard and corner sofa for a great price cheeper to buy all three than buying the sofa alone in other shops the corner sofa is a electric recliner with phone charger for under £1300 and is great quality and style the bed took two weeks to order but the staff and delivery team were very friendly and helpful couldent recommend them enough.

We’re sorry to hear that you felt dissatisfied with the refund process. However, we would like to clarify the timeline and reassure future customers that your cancellation and refund were handled in line with our terms and conditions.
Your order was placed online and the cancellation request was received 5 days later, which was well within the permitted cancellation period. Your request was submitted on Saturday 2nd May during the bank holiday weekend, and our sales team actioned the refund immediately that same day.
As refunds are processed through our online payment portal, the transaction could not begin processing until the next working day following the bank holiday weekend, which was Tuesday 5th May. An automatic confirmation email is then generated by the system once the refund has been formally processed, usually within approximately 24 hours.
As with all card refunds, it can then take up to 5 working days for the funds to appear back in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.
We appreciate that you contacted us for an update, however your refund was already in progress at the time of your enquiry. We therefore feel this review does not fully reflect the prompt action taken by our team to cancel and process your refund as quickly as possible, particularly over a bank holiday period where some processing times are outside of our control.
Nevertheless, we thank you for your order and genuinely wish you all the best in finding suitable furniture elsewhere.
Great service and lovely furniture
We recently bought a two and three seater settee from the Port Talbot store. The two guys in the store - Steve and Phil - were very personable and extremely helpful, giving advice on how we needed to measure our doorways to ensure the furniture could be delivered, as we've had issues with deliveries previously. The settees were delivered from stock a few days later, assembled in situ and our old furniture taken away. All in all, a refreshingly good customer experience!

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, however we are a little confused by your review as you mention that you “didn’t receive” the mattress, but also that you “decided to return” it. If this is a typo or misunderstanding, please contact us directly with your order details so we can properly investigate.
Unfortunately, as your review name is simply listed as “customer”, we are unable to identify your order or comment on the specifics without further information.
We would also like to clarify that mattresses which have been opened, used, or removed from their packaging cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, as we would not be able to resell them. As you can imagine, most customers would understandably not wish to sleep on a mattress that somebody else has already used.
In addition, as clearly stated in our terms and conditions on your receipt, furniture is expensive to order, transport, store, and deliver. Therefore, a minimum cancellation charge of 20% applies to goods that are cancelled and/or cannot be delivered due to the size or access limitations of a customer’s property, with higher charges potentially applying to special order items.
We always aim to provide professional service and would welcome the opportunity to look into this further if you contact us directly with your order information.
Sofa arrived broken.. happy home? No
Sofa arrived broken, got a replacement about a week later. 1 month later sofa broke. They came out to look at it 3 weeks later, said it was broken. They arranged to get it repaired, this took just over a month to get someone to look at it. Spare parts arrived 3 weeks after that and now we have to wait another month before they can try the spare parts.. shocking been without a sofa we can use for over 3 months...
Rung multiple times and they don't give a flying f.. they had a Our money!
This is not a happy home!!

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration this has caused. As you mentioned, we did arrange and deliver a replacement sofa within a week of the original issue being reported, as part of our commitment to resolving faults as quickly as possible.
With regard to the ongoing repair, we work with an independent upholsterer who carries out service checks and repairs not only for Happy Home Furnishers but for a number of furniture retailers across Wales. As a result, their availability to attend appointments is unfortunately outside of our direct control.
In addition, some of the required parts are sourced from overseas. Due to the current situation in the Middle East, we have been experiencing delays in receiving these items, which again is beyond our control.
As per our terms and conditions, all goods are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase, provided care and assembly instructions are followed. Any such defects are repaired free of charge, including both parts and labour, and we are actively progressing this for you.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. Please be assured that this matter is not being ignored—it is in hand, and once the parts are received, the repair will be completed by the upholsterer as soon as possible.

Got completely ripped off
Bought a sofa and chair at Christmas time and already the chair has started to go thread bear there is no bold in the arm of the chair very disappointed in the aftercare service will never shop here again and I will go out of my way so on one I know will. Went back to shop with complaints with in the first month and a half and they sent out a severe to inspect it and he said it's standard wear and tear and they are not liable to do anything

As part of our standard process when an issue is reported, we arrange for an independent, professional furniture technician to inspect the item and provide a full service report. This helps determine the cause of the issue, which can vary—from a manufacturing fault to factors such as local conditions, handling, transit, or general wear and tear. Where a manufacturing fault is identified, we aim to repair or replace the item in line with the 1-year guarantee.
As you have stated that in your case, the technician’s report concluded that the issue was due to wear and tear, and based on this independent assessment, we’re unable to offer a repair or replacement under the terms of the guarantee.
We do appreciate your custom and are sorry that this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for.

This could take a while
This could take a while . We ordered a table and 4 chairs from Port talbot branch . Went in paid in full and delivery. Day of delivery boys were on time and very good off loaded the stuff and brought them in . Checked chairs all good checked the table and legs ,
Legs fin but when went to connect to underside of table only one bolt was carching on each leg. Told the shop they said we will checkl for longer bolts , Got back to us they had none . So i ordered some longer on amazon £10.95 . worked a treet. but when turned table over there was fdamage to the corner and there was a line end to end ,( flaw in it ). So back to the shop told them and showed the pics. No problem we will pick that other one up and replace . So not a problem , sorted for delivery guys came with it we opened it up together first thing we saw was the same problem corner was damaged so back it goes. Informed the shop and they said the will get one straight to us asap Thursday said the text. Thursday come the same delivery guy knocks he said i wont take this off the back has this is the best of 3 or 4 we checked and its the best . Flaw on top of table again with a few scratch marks . He said i did not take it off has i wouldf not except that it suppose to be a new table. Well that was it we want money back we told the shop . After a while the shop asked us to pick another table by this time the Mrs had enough of dealing with them and was not going to have anything off them, Even if it was free which i may add they never offered . Well the chairs and legs needed to be picked up but we would have to wait till Tuesday for them to pick it up, I took it up in the car on the Friday . Wife went back tpo give them the reciept and card it was paid on and they only said the delivery wont be paid back .S o i will be charging them for my part in delivering it back on that Friday . cheek of them holding back the delivery

We did exchange the table three times, and it later became apparent that this issue was due to a faulty batch from our supplier, which we have since investigated with them to prevent this happening again. At the time, we did offer the option to reselect a different dining set, but you chose to proceed with a full refund, which we were more than happy to arrange and have now completed.
Regarding collection, we deliver and collect in certain areas on specific days, with your area being scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays. We’re sorry you felt unable to wait until the Tuesday for the items to be collected.
Once again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this situation caused. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve both our service and our quality checks going forward.

Ordered and paid for sofa large tv unit and coffee table in September told delivery in 4 to 6 weeks it's now January will get the last item of my order next week the others were delivered just before Christmas when asked for any compensation was told they are only cheap goods so no great customer service not

Many of our furniture items are sourced from overseas and arrive via shipping containers, as is the case with many retailers. Unfortunately, shipping delays can occasionally occur and are outside of our direct control. That said, we did keep you updated as soon as we were informed of any changes by our shippers.
With regard to the coffee table, this item is extremely good value at £129.99 and, as explained at the time, we were unable to offer compensation. However, we did advise that you were fully entitled to a refund should you not wish to wait any longer.
We’re pleased to confirm that your coffee table arrived into our warehouse on 31st December, and our sales team has since contacted you to arrange delivery.

I was delighted with my experience at Happy Homes Furnishers in Cross Hands. Needing a whole houseful of furniture I was impressed by their wide range of choice of quality items at reasonable prices. The staff were excellent especially Luke Whatley who was attentive and knowledgeable without being at all pushy. You can tell that this company is an independent, family run business that has a focus on customer service. From selection to delivery all went very smoothly. Highly recommended.

Excellent service and delivery
Very good experience with Rachel at Happy Home DS Furniture. Fast delivery and excellent customer service . Rachel was really helpful, friendly and had a vast amount of knowledge on the mattresses I had called to look at. Have had my bed frame and bed for over a week now and couldn’t be happier.
