The chip repair was perfect and the person doing it provided an excellent explanation of what he was going to do, how long it would take and took good care of the vehicle when doing it.

Help with matching touch up paint…
Popped into my local Halfords for some touch up paint for my car with out a code number or the name of the colour. The assistant advised to call the Ford dealer and they gave me the name of the colour of my car. With that information the sales assistant at Halfords was able to find the exact colour match within a minute. Great service from staff who are always ready and happy to help.

Really impressed with the team at Halford's Wakefield
Really impressed with the team at Halfords Wakefield. The pannier cradle came away from my new bike's frame causing the two side panniers and trunk bag to drag along the floor behind me. It happened in Wakefield's city centre on a main street. Not the best experience to have at all.
Sam was really helpful when I first called, and Flo and the bike team did a great job fixing my bike. Thanks too to the manager who helped by carrying my bike up the stairs for me.
Everyone was friendly, helpful and very technically skilled. Excellent service from start to finish. Thank you, Halfords Wakefield!

Store good but Autocentre service is expensive with up selling prompts from the minute you drop ur car in... Never sure if what they say needs changing actually does? but I'm assuming u get the job done correctly albeit at a price.

Booked an appointment for my tyre to be changed, paid extra for a time slot. Only for the van to arrive without the correct tyre for my car and not able to fit any other tyre. Wasted my morning sitting in waiting for them to arrive for them not to fit a new tyre for me.

Flat battery
On returning from holiday my car wouldn't start, the battery was flat. I got a start from a neighbour, ordered a battery from Halfords and by 4.30pm the same day it was all fitted and I was on the road again. I was well chuffed.

Excellent customer service especially at the bike shop and repair upstairs. Some excellent and cool bikes and useful (not too much) equipment on display. It is always a pleasure to visit the shop where all the staff have great knowledge about their product and are always willing to share it.

Credit Where Credit’s Due
Yesterday I was out in my car when it started to rain. I switched the wipers on and noticed that there was a split in one of the rubber blades that stopped it from clearing the screen in front of me.
I drove straight to Halfords at Chilwell Retail Park. When I got there, I was served immediately by one of the counter staff. He told me that they had one in stock and could fit it whilst I waited. He also advised me to buy a pair as the other one was likely to split soon and it was actually cheaper to buy them as a pair. This made sense to me so I agreed.
By the time I had paid for them, two members of staff had gone outside and started to fit one blade each. The whole process took around 90 seconds and it was done.
As I drove away, I noticed that I had been at the store for a total of 5 minutes! This has got to be the fastest and most efficient service I have ever experienced.
It has actually taken me longer to write this review than it took to serve me and resolve the problem.
Well done Halfords, and thank you from a seriously impressed customer.
