I placed an order on 29.08.26. Delivery was notified for 02.09.2026 between 7.30am and 9pm. The package was not delivered during that time. I had no notification. The following day I tried to contact Habitat/Argos and spent nearly an hour with various machine generated voices, bots and 'chats'. This was all very stressful (eg the phone voice could not 'hear' what I said). There were inconsistencies in the 'chat' responses. I was told the courier had lost the package and my order would be cancelled and I would get a refund. But I said I would really like the items I'd ordered. This could have been resolved with a 5 minute phone call with a human being. The package was delivered to a neighbour the following day but I was not notified of this. One of the items is broken.
Please change your courier or require Evri to use 2 hour time slots and advise the customer of any changes.
Please have a more user-friendly way for customers to give feedback or complaints.

Nearly a week since delivery date, still not have arrived, Argos customer service routine awful, get rid of the useless bots . Eventually got to speak to a real person having spent a small fortune on phone calls and a lot of wasted time. He was helpful.

Selling items they can’t then deliver
Bought a bed, booked a delivery date which came and went with no delivery and no updates. One call to customer service was useless, on the second I was told the bed was apparently not in stock, even though the site was still showing it as available.

Part of my order was never delivered
Part of my order was never delivered, despite Argos marking the entire order as delivered.
I contacted customer services and was initially told the missing item would be delivered at 1pm. It wasn't. I then had to contact Argos repeatedly, including two phone calls and a live chat which disconnected. A ticket was raised, then escalated, and on multiple occasions I was told to wait until the end of the day or allow 48 hours.
Despite all of this, nobody actually contacted me with an update and the item still wasn't delivered. I was left with no idea when, or even if, I would receive something I had already paid for.
The amount of effort required to resolve what should have been a straightforward delivery issue was ridiculous. Argos's customer service made an already frustrating situation considerably worse.
There is still no resolution.

Great styles let down by quality
Love the designs of the products, however the finish / quality seems to be increasingly lacking. I ordered some items including a photo frame which was unavailable for collection from store and had to be home delivered. Upon receiving my package, my photo frame glass was completely smashed. I then had to make the trip to store to return for a refund. The staff were helpful and managed to reorder me a new one to collect the next day which I did - same issue, glass smashed! I reordered again and upon collection, yet another broken product. Thankfully this time they had one in stock in store. It did have some flaws but at least it wasn’t completely broken. I have since ordered a vase which has lots of splash marks on the glazing. Such a shame the quality and finish of these lovely looking homewares is letting habitat down.
