No work has taken place for anything to go wrong! I have been reading reviews on trustpilot to find one which Greenbelt visit every 2 weeks.....I was complaining about supposed work done in our area and receiving a further bill as cutting a tree back doesn't count as maintenance. Then was told the area behind my house is maintained once annually?! I haven't seen anyone out at the area behind my property in easily 2yrs. Also all the vegetation does not prove they have been there either. My husband built me a summer house a few years ago then tree branches grew that much they were starting to lean on the roof. I called Greenbelt to get them out to sort the issue they told me I shouldn't have built it there? Why is it a problem to them where I build things on my property! Fast forward a couple of months I managed to catch the guy who was sent to maintain that area and asked him why he hasn't touched that part of their land. He told me he doesn't have ladders so couldn't do it. I was like I have ladders and he didn't have any choice but to do it. That's the last I have seen them. I am sick of contacting them to get nowhere and they still expect the money. Today on the phone I asked them to prove that they have been out within the last 2 years like before and after pics maybe? A report of the inspection after the works. Also read inspection reports cost more money on top of what we are paying if this is the case we are being robbed of 2 lots of money for nothing. When you call them you get nowhere and go round in circles.

Responded quickly to a report of anti social behaviour and damage to park equipment.

Greenbelt has been extremely supportive of our estate, recently donating £400 to help us purchase a new bench for our community area. This generous contribution will make a real difference, creating a more welcoming space and helping more residents move comfortably around the estate. We’re grateful for their commitment to improving our shared environment and for the positive partnership they continue to offer

This company has increased the bill every year while absolute doing nothing, the breakdown of the bill includes suspicious items. My area looks like an abandon area. Absolutely terrible, the bad news is that their name in the contract for ten year and the county council doesn't care about our feedback at all.

The gentleman taking my call was helpful and polite. He dealt with my query efficiently and was easily understood. Thank you

Biggest waste of space, just a license to print money, price keeps going up for them to do little to nothing and when they do they charge a fortune for something that could be done Much Much cheaper. They come along in their vans driving all over the grass damaging it, to then come back another time to fix what they damaged but then charge us for the pleasure. I wish I would have known before buying my house.

Another yearly bill of fictitious charges with no evidence to support repairs were necessary or have indeed taken place.
Ever increasing bills year on year and an £88 admin fee this year! Greenbelt have failed to maintain areas of our estate and continue to charge for repairs to play areas and fences, of which we were not informed of.
If you are considering a property that has Greenbelt managing the open spaces I would strongly consider walking away! They will have you paying more with each year that passes, and you have no choice!

Greenbelt has the service management contract for a new development within the Parish Council's boundary. The handing over of the Public Open Space from the builders to Greenbelt has been a gradual process; residents of the development have found this frustrating when they want to query an issue with the public open space. They do not know who to contact, so they often contact the Parish Council for help with this. Throughout the representatives of Greenbelt that I have dealt with, have been helpful and supportive, answering my queries promptly. I have found communication has been good and any request for action dealt with swiftly, if it was in their control.

Proactive service from David and a nice new section of fence. Workmen pleasant, polite, clean and tidy with their work. Great job all around.

Greenbelt took over the maintenance of our new development from Persimmon just over 2 years ago.
Since that day our development has been vastly improved.
Greenbelt have replaced the dead trees Persimmon left behind, rectified the grass on our green spaces, kept the roads weed free and mended our broken wooden fence posts.
The whole development is now neat, tidy and well maintained.
After hearing horror stories in the news of huge maintenance charges I’m pleased to say that Greenbelt have kept our estate charges low and very manageable.
I would like to give a huge shout out to Nick Upton who has always been very approachable and has taken an interest in helping our local community.
My experience with Greenbelt has always been 100% positive.

My wife Ruth and I are the proud co-founders of the Silent Santa Appeal, a small but determined initiative that invites people to donate Christmas gifts for children aged 4 to 11. Though our team is just the two of us, we are lifted by the kindness of many—from generous individuals to supportive organisations.
Thanks to the wonderful people at Lingfield Point, we have a smart and secure storeroom for the presents. Our local Fire Authority helps deliver the gifts, and the Environment Agency lends a hand with wrapping and sorting. Most importantly, hundreds of caring individuals give selflessly, knowing that a child they may never meet will smile with joy when handed a surprise Christmas present.
This year, we were stunned and delighted to receive an unexpected phone call from Greenbelt, offering a donation to help us go even further. We hadn’t approached them, and we’re still not sure how they heard about Silent Santa—but we’re so glad they did. Their generous £500 contribution will make a big, BIG difference and might just help us reach our new target of 1,000 gifts, set by the Lord Lieutenant of County Durham, Dame Sue Snowden.
On behalf of every child who will benefit from this kindness, Ruth and I extend our deepest thanks to Greenbelt. Your support means the world to children who will be receiving so little at this wonderful time of the year.

I have been chasing Greenbelt since 2023 for them to reinstate the dead planting outside my house. They have continued to ignore, fob off and lie. Absolutely disgusting company!

I believe it’s important to acknowledge excellent service when you get it.
And on this occasion, David Condon was instrumental in turning an annoyance into a triumph!
We had an overgrown tatty looking hedge in front of the house which totally obscured the beautiful view across the fields.
I rang David, who initially requested photos, then minutes later promised to contact the operations team and make the job a priority.
I’m delighted to say, the Greenbelt team arrived less than 24 hours later, and boom - just like that, the job was done!

Credit where credit’s due - Thankyou David for not just listening, but for giving an effective response and solution so quickly.

Greenbelt provide maintenance for the estate I live on and responded promptly to repair a fence that had been damaged. Furthermore, the newly replaced fence is excellent and the guy that did the work was professional and left the area clean and tidy

Vicky was most helpful and very pleasant, even though l didn't have my billing info to hand. When l attempted to pay with my Ulster Bank debit card it failed to complete transaction.
She was most reassuring and glad to say my reserve card ( AIB ) worked .

I had a problem accessing my account to pay my bill so phoned and the Scottish gentleman(sorry but didn’t quite hear is name) immediately sorted the problem for me and allowed me to make the payment over the phone and then sent me a link to reset my password, he was extremely helpful and efficient whilst having a friendly manner thank you
