I was so relieved when I got an appointment at my local branch in Gidea Park on 10/9/2026 to see Richard. He is a fantastic vet. Really helpful, reassuring, kind and friendly, as are all the staff at this branch. My cat was kept in for sedation as he had damage to his eye which was an ulcer. Probable cause - scratched by another cat. His eye had to be cleaned, and he was given injections for pain relief and antibiotics. He was looked after and cared for extremely well. I collected him in the evening. I had a follow up call on the 11/9/2026 and popped in again on the 12/9/2026 with a follow up appointment on 14/9/2026. I was given eye drops to administer and some tablets in capsules which I could empty the powder inside the capsules onto my cats food, as he started to eat due to being given a pain relief injection

I feel I must also add that I had good help from Goddards WhatsApp Support Service as my own vets at Gidea Park had no available appts on Tuesday 8/9/2026 and are closed on Wednesday's, so they got me an appointment at the Dagenham Branch for Wednesday 9/9/2026. The lady at the reception desk was warm and friendly. However, I was not impressed with the vet on duty. I told him my cat had not eaten anything at all and he was in pain. He told me 3 times quite curtly that I had been advised to take my cat to Goddards Hospital, which I really do not recall, and he wasn't listening to me. He just said its in the notes on screen. I do not have a car and take my cat to the vets by cab. So to get over to Walthamstow (where the hospital is) would not have been easy, but I would have done it. He gave me liquid oral pain relief (but I could not give my cat this unless he ate some food as it would be dangerous). I already told him he wasn't eating. Also some eye ointment and antibiotic tablets. I would need to crush these tablets and hide it in the food, but as previously mentioned my cat wasn't eating. He was in pain. I left this vet's feeling dreadful and quite upset. So it was with total relief that the Support WhatsApp Service got me an appointment with my own vet on Thursday 10/9/2026 as mentioned at the beginning of this review.

Vet took the time to understand our pet dog and gave suggestions around dental health and digestive problems. Did not feel rushed at all and she was so lovely.

Very disappointing experience and poor communication.

I pay £19 every month for a pet membership, which includes flea and worm treatment and nail clipping. I expected regular appointments, but my last visit was in April, almost 5 months ago, because I was given medication to administer at home instead.

I recently made an appointment at the practice on Oxlow Lane, where I have always gone. Nobody told me that they had moved 3 months ago. I received no email, notification or phone call. In fact, I spoke to someone on the phone the day before and was still not told. When I called for the new address, I was given the wrong postcode, which caused even more inconvenience.

When I finally arrived, I asked for my cat’s nails to be clipped, which is included in my £19 monthly membership. The staff member appeared visibly annoyed that I requested this.

I had also spoken to Amanda the day before and specifically asked whether my cat could be checked by the vet before neutering, and I was told yes. The vet examined her for around 30 seconds and then discussed the neutering prices.

When I was leaving, I was suddenly told I had to pay a nail-clipping fee, despite this being included in my membership. Then I was told I had to pay a further £55 consultation fee because my cat supposedly wasn’t booked for a consultation. After Amanda was contacted, I was told I did not need to pay the consultation fee.

The whole experience felt confusing, poorly organised and, unfortunately, as though I was being charged for things I had already paid for or had not been informed about.

The membership is also supposed to give £30 off neutering, but when you add a £55 consultation fee, it makes you question how much of a saving you are actually getting. Other vets offer neutering for around £80 without an additional consultation fee.

Overall, I felt that the staff were rude, unhelpful and more focused on charging me than actually helping. Very disappointing after paying for a membership every month.

It was time for Baileys yearly vaccination booster and flea and worm treatment as well as a Cytopoint injection as she had a flare up. As always Goddard's at Wanstead Hospital were amazing. Due to Baileys flare up they got her in very quickly and she is now doing much better. We saw a vet called Lucy who was so helpful and kind and thorough. The reception staff are always so helpful & kind too and nothing is too much trouble. I’ve been using Goddards at Wanstead for years not only with Bailey but with my previous dog Coco and always receive excellent service and care. Thank you to everyone at the Wanstead Hospital branch you all do an amazing job.

Always great service at Goddards Collier Row from the nurses to vets the care they take with my 3 Cats is always reassuring they are in good hands.

i take my Shih tzu to Godard in Chalfont , i couldn't ask for a better Vet consultant Sue and also all the nurse and staff , friendly caring makes my lilly and me feel secure and in good hands .

I visited Goddard Veterinary Group in West Ham on Monday 7 September with my cat Simba for a health check. Simba has always been extremely scared whenever we visit the vet, but the care and kindness he receives from the lady who looks after him is absolutely wonderful.

She has cared for Simba for many years, and the way she treats him, handles him and makes him feel safe is something truly special. ❤️ You can genuinely see how much she cares about animals, and her patience and compassion make such a difference.

It’s difficult to put into words how grateful I am for the care she has given Simba over the years. She is an absolute credit to the veterinary team, and I’m very thankful that Simba has someone who looks after him with so much kindness and understanding.

Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Simba over the years. 🐾❤️

The vet I saw yesterday she was very helpful. She didn’t have a go at me if anything she was sympathetic towards me which I preferred she didn’t make out. That was my fault until she checked the cat out thoroughly and it’s due to his age and she’s got it under control now we’ve still got a little bit of work to do on him which is gonna be done next week and I’m happy for that.

Truly wonderful staff. They have been so kind, compassionate and highly professional. Helping my cat and I through a difficult time.

Our little Suki had a fall yesterday and, naturally, we were very worried. Thankfully, we managed to get an appointment within a couple of hours and, luckily, she seems to be okay. The vet thoroughly examined her, checked her heart and lungs, watched her walking and prescribed painkillers. We’ve been advised to let her rest and come back in a couple of days if she isn’t improving, in which case they’ll arrange an X-ray.

We’ve been with Goddard Veterinary Raynes Park since we got our first cat six years ago, and they have always been incredibly helpful, caring and reassuring. The whole team is amazing - from the receptionists and nurses to the vets - and you can really tell how much they care about the animals they look after.

We couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for taking such good care of our little Suki. ❤️

Good overall visit at Harrow Weald. The checking in system doesn't really work. Please can you put your Price List in a place where it's clearly visible so we're aware that prices have gone up.

We had our yearly vaccination booster, flea & worm treatment & a check up for our cat. Staff in the Hackney branch are always a joy to see & speak with. Everyone is an animal lover and kind. After a year on being on their proactive pet plan all those treatments were free. This was such a relief and big help during the cost of living. Paying just under £18 a month gets many discounts on flea & worm treatments & food as well as nurturing & check ups. Helps manage to do your best for your pet. Thank you Hackney branch for your exceptional customer service.

Conner the vet was just great. Kind, caring supportive and professional. Thank you. Kitty is much better.
