Suggerisco caldamente questo servizio, free, costante (in 7 anni solo un paio di volte fuori servizio), semplice da usare e completo (suite office, spazio disco, calendario, traduttore etc). Uno dei pochi che consentono il forward delle email, filtri facili da impostare e 10 alias disponibili in vari domini. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, il motore di ricerca interno non legge nel corpo delle email. Ma per la linearità e semplicità di utilizzo la trovo di gran lunga preferibile a decine di concorrenti

I was using this email account for my business. Suddenly I'm Blocked due to "irregular activity". I just use it to speak to customers etc. It's not my primary personal account. Doesn't get much traffic (unfortunately)... I clicked the button to send them a message. I explained what it said, next day got a message back saying:
"Dear GMX member,
We have forwarded your request to unblock your account to our security department and it was determined that the account in question will remain blocked.
Please note that this is a decision made by our abuse department and we do not have further information we can provide to you.
With kind regards,
GMX International Support"

WHAT?!! Seriously?! No explination, no nothing, just a door slammed in my face. Now I have to edit my web site, contact customers, replace business cards...
WTH?

Android apps arrive in German rather than English. The change in language happens when attempting to log in and instructions are a page long because gmx refuses to accept the credentials although they are correct. The Cloud used to work. CS has been of no help since they put the blame on FireFox with no explanation or reason. This despite that their own error message states gmx is blocking access to the Cloud. Avoid gmx.

An absolutely awful system. Keeps asking for the change of passsword every minute. I change the password, it works for 5 minutes, then stops again!

Utter rubbish email service when synced to phone it empties all the emails out of my folders so i have to go online to check them. Waste of time. Support are like chocolate fireguards don't want to know! Stick to mainstream email providers icloud,google,microsoft etc

worst email provider. dont risk your email accounts with GMX they do whatever they like and you will end up losing out. no information, no ability to do anything.

Wenn ich wüsste wie ich das Postfach umziehen könnte, würde ich es tun! Die neue Suchfunktion ist das letzte und man findet keine Mails mehr. Kundendienst schickt automatisierte Antworten ohne Sinn und verstand.

Abgesehen von der linksextremen Propaganda die man sich antut, wenn man gmx besucht, und die bei mir regelmäßig Kotzkrämpfe auslöst, ist nun auch die E-Mail Funktionalität an sich nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Am schlimmsten ist aktuell die Suchfunktion im Web-Interface, die von gmx verschlimmbessert wurde. Es erscheinen viele E-Mails nicht in der Suchergebnis-Liste, obwohl sie die Suchkriterien erfüllen. Dass es keine Volltext-Suche mehr gibt und nur in den E-Mailadressen und dem Betreff gesucht wird, ist man ja schon gewöhnt, dass aber nun selbst diese eingeschränkte Funktionalität nicht mehr geboten wird, ist schon unterirdisch. E-Mail-Anfragen dazu an GMX wurden nur mit nichtssagenden Standardtexten beantwortet, auf das eigentliche Problem wird nicht eingegangen. Also ich kenne keinen schlechteren Anbieter. Sowas wie gmx braucht wirklich niemand.

Der Nachrichtenbereich von GMX enthält politische Propaganda anstatt seriöser, unabhängige Berichterstattung. Mit Journalismus der einer Demokratie hat das Null zu tun! Total lächerlich!

This worst email platform I have used. I have to use it for work. You cant load things it automatically loses documents that were loaded. You cannot drag and drop. It cumbersome slow, you can't log in easily. It doesn't except othe writing styles you can't change it to English. Its dire

Me parece uno de los mejores servicios de correo gratis y con la ventaja de poder crear cuentas alias para asuntos concretos y poder eliminarlas cuando se termina ese asunto sin que te den la paliza con el dichoso spam.

Fails to look into allegations of phishing

I am receiving phishing emails from users at their service via GMX.net. I informed them through their contact form but their English-language people insist that, because it's from their German-language service, I must use a German-language "kontaktformular" instead. I'm unsure why the first people who work for GMX won't forward my complaint to any other people who work for GMX but rather demand that I do their work for them, but OK I guess I'm the victim so I have to do the legwork. Then the Germans unloaded several pages of German-language technicalities on me and eventually told me (I think? it's in German) to contact English-speaking people for help. A says, please talk to B -- B says, sprechen Sie bitte mit A. Full circle run-around. (Funny thing is, I do speak a little German.) I'm not taking any more time with this slippery organization. They deliberately encourage phishing, IMO.

Dieser Free-Mail Service nervt - aber das dürfte nichts neues sein, sobald die Firma 1+1 Internet im Spiel ist. Das Postfach wird zunehmend mit Werbung und Spam Mails zugemüllt, die Weiterleitung von Mails muss permanent neu eingerichtet werden und die Login Daten werden i.d.R. auch erst nach mehreren Versuchen angenommen. Fazit: das ist eines der schlechtesten Free Mail Provider auf dem Markt !

I have had a GMX email account for a few years now and I have never had a problem with it, Easy to use, no ads, I use the GMX app on my iPhone as well again with no problem.

This is one of the worst email providers I have encounted. I've been with them for a few years now and all of a sudden they lock my account without any notice. Just had problems trying to login. They want me to save my password with my browser, which I'm hesitant in doing. I dont save my password to anyone but me, but I did try it and it still did not work, so I figured this is a scam. I then clicked, that it is out of the question to save my password on a browser and then it ask for such a long list of personal data, I just gave up and to hell with the email account. Not only are they corrupt, but I had my account hacked twice with them, so I knew it is time to find a more secure email provider. Good riddens to bad rubbish.....
