Worst email ever. A lot of time it won't even load. My partner is locked out of hers for some reason and 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' IGNORE literally dozens of emails from her. They expect people to pay for this?! I would NEVER give them a penny! Did the same thing to me and I had to pay someone to hack into it to get access!!!

Had an account for years without one single issue and had always used the same password but now suddenly my account was blocked by gmx (probably due to my vpn which is unacceptable in any case) and was FORCED by them to change my password to something of 12 characters, it wouldn't accept anything less, which now throws my password system out of wack and I insist on CONTROLLING MY OWN D**D PASSWORDS!
This makes me look for an alternative and just CLOSE the account with gmx because this is ridiculous. They have no right to force me to use a 12 character pw when my 9-character pw has always worked before. Worst thing? There was absolutely NOTHING WRONG in my account, the "suspicious" activity WAS MYSELF, brainiacs.
I'll be out of their hair very soon, looking for a solution as of NOW. They would deserve zero stars if that was an option. Still hoping for that option on trustpilot beceause it is NEEDED for some of these companies and providers.

Blocked my account after one week and 3 emails. Despite contacting them it is still blocked. I wish that I had read the revues in here before I signed up.

State alla larga da questi criminali! Non vi fate abbagliare dal fatto che la mail si presenta bene!
Per quasi 2 anni, la posta elettronica ha funzionato alla perfezione. Ho scritto all'assistenza offrendo suggerimenti, e mi hanno risposto ringraziandomi. Tutto eccellente. Tutta la mia attività passava attraverso la loro email: contatti con amici colleghi, aziende, banche e società di investimento. Tutti gli OTP di autenticazione con qualunque servizio arrivavano sulla email GMX. Offre anche un servizio cloud dove avevo documenti importanti. Avevo raccolto molte informazioni importanti nelle bozze, senza preoccuparmi di farne un backup altrove, perché di per sé fungeva da backup.
Un giorno, provo ad accedere e ricevo un avviso di "attività anomala rilevata" e aggiunge di contattare l'assistenza per recuperare il mio account, cosa che faccio subito. Ricevo un'email automatica che mi chiede una serie di cose a cui rispondo immediatamente.
Ma non succede nulla. Dopo due giorni, riscrivo, spiegando i problemi che mi stanno causando e chiedo almeno di darmi accesso alla mia email, per un tempo limitato di 3-4 ore, per recuperare le informazioni, dopodiché potevano anche cancellare l'account. Nessuna risposta. Altri 4 giorni... silenzio. Ho iniziato a chiamare amici, colleghi, banche e a cambiare l'indirizzo email di registrazione per i servizi (quelli che ricordo), ma è complicato e faticoso; a volte chiedono la verifica del vecchio indirizzo. Giorni persi per colpa di questi miserabili. Dopo 10 giorni, un altro sollecito. Nessuna risposta. Sono passati quasi 2 mesi e non so niente. In pratica si sono impossessati della mia casella di posta elettronica e dei dati messi sul cloud senza alcun preavviso e senza neppure un avviso successivo!!!!!!
Ora, supponiamo che la mia email sia stata usata da un hacker per inviare spam. Quindi il provider dovrebbe bloccarla, o meglio, cancellarla, giusto? Va bene. Ma loro hanno il mio indirizzo email di recupero, i miei contatti. Fatemelo sapere, datemi il tempo di ripulire tutto e poi fate quello che dovete fare. Se arriva un po' di spam per 3-4 ore, non importa, nessuno è mai morto per uno spam, ma non potete resettare la mia vita online senza preavviso. Sono dei criminali, lo potete capire anche perché non rispondono a nessuno qui su Trustpilot, il cliente è una pulce quando non serve più la schiacciano. Anche altri provider hanno avuto problemi tecnici e hanno sospeso la mail per un paio di giorni (Tiscali, Libero). Ma per problemi tecnici per tutti gli account e per un paio di giorni.
Qui la situazione è diversa. Bloccano selettivamente solo alcune mail secondo loro algoritmi e neppure avvertono!!!! Consegni i tuoi dati a dei delinquenti.
In generale prima di attivare qualunque servizio leggete le recensioni su Trustpilot o altrove. Se lo avessi fatto avrei visto la qualifica "pessimo" e non sarei caduto nella trappola. Sta a noi consumatori selezionare i fornitori di qualunque servizio, altrimenti lasciamo sul mercato dei delinquenti, che magari non fregheranno noi, ma fregheranno altri
Locked out
Like many others I find I have been locked out of my account as my username/email address is not recognised even though colleagues are still sending messages to that address. The help desk just claims they are overloaded and have provided no solution. I wish I had never used them and will take my email elsewhere.
GMX has zero customer support
GMX has zero customer support. Used it for years through Apple Mail, until it was unable to connect to the server. So the only way for me to access my email is through a browser. Very disappointed.

Les he escrito innumerables correos para que lo arreglen y pasan de todo.
Lo último es decir que tengo que escribir la reclamación en inglés, cuando el modelo para reclamar está en español.

Absolutely disgusted by them locking my friends account and making his business suffer . All he ever did with this email provider was to send emails between clients dealing with his real estate. He is now moving away from this rubbish provider and i wanted to warn everyone else . DON'T USE THEM. They don't even reply to any message sent to their customer services. I have warned you . PROTON EMAIL IS BRILLIANT
No customer support
I have been using gmx.com as my email address for many years until one morning I was no longer able to access my account. I am therefore unable to receive any emails and have lost everything in that account. I have filled in their form for customer support over 10 times and have not heard back from them. I have also written to their Karlsruhe address. Again no response. Really disappointing and would not use them again.
gmx are hellish, keep away
gmx account may seem to work for a while but then you will get a problem and thats it, no support
it will lock you out your account or not let you log in
so do not use them for important email needs as you may not be able to get in your account one day and they will not help you.
I've never encountered anything like gmx before
I've never encountered anything like gmx mail. I opened an account several weeks ago, and after moving all of the mail I had saved from a different account, they blocked me for, " irregular activity", or something like that. It was very hard to find a way to contact them, but AI led me to the contact form. They did not so much as acknowledge my message, and its been several weeks now. No response, nothing. My important documents are locked in that account. I would say AVOID GMX EMAIL. What a shame that they do this to people. I have never dealt with anything like this before.
No confidence and trust in gmx com
All my 3 accounts are not working since 4 days. Pop up appears in every account prompting for a password and does not accept the correct password. Endless requests have been sent to support centre who has not replied nor made an attempt to resolve this in anyway.

DO NOT USE - EMAIL NOT SECURE. UK website is compromised/fraudulent, their password reset process links to scammers. I have been trying to reset my password for months, but all of their options to reset password appears to come from scammers, and directs you to provide all manner of security data, and then asks you to reset your password using a non-gmx website. Zero customer support, absolutely cannot recommend in any way, truly terrible fraudulent experience.

I have my account for over 15 years (since 2010/2011) - never had a problem. all of the sudden I got a notification that my account has been blocked and they told me to contact customer service. to no avail so far. I have important contacts etc. -thankfully I have an automatic forwarding service to another e-mail account (not with gmx) however all the new mails do not get forwarded since it has been blocked.
it was hard enough to find a contact page but not a chance to phone someone or even an (automatic) email (to the mail adress you leave for them to contatc you) that your contact form was received and that you will get an answer. I contacted them 3 times already. nothing!
I will never again trust them! I used to book flights etc. with them- what if I would need some info to get to this information.

Mi sono registrato, il giorno dopo voglio accedere, account bloccato senza motivo. Messaggio con invito a contattare il servizio cienti... Peccato che non ci sia mdo di contattare il servizio clienti... Nelle FAQ non c'è ombra di come contattare il servizio clienti. Pessimo servizio. Poi da quel poco che ho visto pare che ci sia un sacco di pubblicità molto invasiva.
Non si capisce nemmeno come eliminare l'account...
