Ordered a $200 gift basket 2 weeks in…
Ordered a $200 gift basket 2 weeks in advance to be delivered to a business. Paid the extra fee to have it delivered on a specific day for the event. Basket did not arrive and came a day late. Requested a refund from Gift Tree only for the shipping cost and the extra fee charged to have it delivered on a specific date. Thought that was reasonable of me only asking for my shipping to be refunded and not the entire order. They denied my refund saying that the delivery was only for an "estimated date". Will not use this company again due to failure to perform as advertised.

I ordered a Gift basket with wine as a thank you present for a friend. I paid expedited shipping so it could be delivered on a certain date. I got informed that the item was not available until about three weeks after the order date and I was promised that it would be promptly delivered 2 days after the release date. I contacted Gift Tree to make sure they have shipped it finally 3 weeks after the order date.. To my surprise they said once again that the release date had beed delayed to another 10 days!!!... At this point I said I had enough and requested a refund. Can't believe how irresponsible GiftTree is on their promises! Not only they charge for expedited shipping fee when they are unable to do it but they keep delaying the order delivery! Not ever again I purchase from this company and would dicourage anyone attempting to order from them. They are disater!!!

Gift never arrives or is of lesser value
This is the second time in a row that my gift was "lost" when shipped from North Carolina vis FedEx. Also, when the gift DOES actually arrive, its not as nice as what was pictured. I have been a loyal customer for several years but this is ridiculous. The CEO must not care if the company goes out of business, as many others have similar complaints.

Order at your own risk, you don't know what you'll receive
Like a number of other buyers have pointed out, the contents were not the same as shown on the order page. I have pictures that compare the items delivered to what was on the order page. The delivered items are of much less value than those ordered. When I contacted customer service, this was their response.
"Our goal is to always be transparent with our customers and with the current supply chain struggles, we have had to make substitutions on some of the gifts that our customers have become to know and love.
This was never meant to be a surprise and we do have a note on the gift description outlining this:
Food Items Subject to Availability. Sometimes a gift basket item is unavailable. Be assured that we will substitute an item of equal or greater value to ensure that your gift arrives on time.
We do hope the replacements are enjoyed! Have a beautiful day!"
You can check out their reviews on other sites where a number of their clients have expressed the same disappointment.
**Update** After a couple of email exchanges, they refunded a third of the price paid but I am still disappointed by their service.

Gift Tree was immediately responsive to my issues, corrected the problem to more than my full satisfaction, and was gracious and apologetic.
I highly recommend them and their integrity.
Avoid This Site
I have no idea if the gift was ever delivered. I scheduled it for delivery on the 22nd of December, it did not arrive then, nor on the following days. I received an email that it was delivered on the 30th of December, but the people I sent it to were out of town by then, so who knows if it ever arrived. Initially customer service helped fix the order, but after that they were not helpful and stopped responding, they even left me on hold when the business day was done so I received a message that there was nobody that could talk to me. Voice messages were left, no response was given. I have sent emails to the person who responded initially, and given them time to respond and correct the situation, but they have not responded. I would never use this service again.

I paid more than $27 to receive my order by December 23. Today is December 24 and I didn’t receive anything on the other hand the company took my money really fast. Not recommended at all.

Doesn't look like what it was described. The contents of the gift basket is not even worth $80 bucks. For that price, I suggest you make your own basket, it'll probably be worth it.
Look of basket misrepresented on website!
I have used GiftTree several times in the past, always sending the baskets out to friends and clients. I decided this year that I would have one of the baskets sent to my home, I was very disappointed with the appearance of the basket, it was not as represented on the website. I am now completely embarrassed with what I have sent out to so many people now. I hope that GiftTree considers doing a better job at delivering a product that is marketed on their website! The illustrated baskets on the website, is not what will be delivered, take note!

This is by far the most embarrassing…
This is by far the most embarrassing present I have ever given to anyone, let alone my 70 employees. The "basket" was missing half the items and the items that were there were completely misrepresented in the description. Absolutely awful and I am still waiting for customer service.

Italian Cheeses and Charcuterie, not worth the cost. I wish I could post picture of the box and the contents; shocking. I am embarrassed and disgusted. In addition, the tiny ice pack had melted, was warm to the touch, so my daughter would not eat the meats or cheese for fear of bacteria and food borne illness.
Update: Gift Tree offered to replace the gift box or refund the cost. Meanwhile, my daughter ate the cheese and said it was excellent. Refund offer appreciated but unnecessary. I did suggest Gift Tree add more product to this particular box and upgrade the ice packs.

Delivery dates not respected
I'm really disappointed with this service. The main purpose is to be able to choose a delivery date (typically for birthay gifts), but my order was delivered two days before the date I had chosen.
Especially since the price vary according to the days. Had I knew the date is only indicative, I would have chosen a day with no surplus fee...
This company provides excellent stuff…
This company provides excellent stuff and always ships and delivers on schedule. That's becoming less common these days. The quality of the real baskets, which my relatives always save after devouring the goods, always impresses me.

Never ending spam that you can't opt out of
Once you order from them they will continue to send you SPAM and you can not opt out. Even if you call them which i did and was promised to be removed, they never did. Be prepared for their barrage of emails if you by from them.
Missing Items...
I ordered a gift basket for my husband and me. It arrived with 5 items missing so I sent an email to gift tree help desk. A so called customer advocate emailed me back talking about a shortage of merchandise. So I responded, asking for a replacement of the missing items with something else.
Another so called customer advocate emailed me back, saying they could send a replacement basket, for me to let them know what I wanted them to do. I responded by saying, I feel cheated and just want what I paid for.
My basket was delivered on December 21st and I have not heard back from those people other than wanting a review but not a solution for my missing items. I will never order from gift tree again.
