Never received my item
Never received my item, no response to numerous emails to 3 different email address. Got Afterpay involved as that's who I paid through and they are struggling to get hold of them too. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! TOTAL SCAM

Ordered the FlyHugz Pillow and mask, wanted to buy local and thought buying from a NZ company in Christchurch would be pretty legit. Turns out that this place is the biggest scam out. After contacting FlyHugz TM they have advised me that they do not sell to a third party and certainly not to the Gift tree Christchurch. After numerous messages, calls and emails to the Gift tree for a refund I have heard nothing from the guy named Peter. Scam alert big time
Gift tree told me to GO AWAY
I ordered a specific flavoured drink powder from gift tree. 5 packets. I got 3 packets in a different flavour that wasn't advertised at all. Not on their website at all, not in the pictures, not in the ingredients list. NOTHING. After them blaming me first for saying I didn't specify, despite there being no option on the website to specify I was essentially told to go F* myself in more words and told to go away. I contacted the supplier direct who had the same treatment and actually ended up pulling their products from Gift Tree. I've also noticed the products are expired. DO NOT PURCHASE

Like other people I wish I could give this company zero. They are fake and advertise genuine products and then send a cheap knockoff. They don’t respond to emails or calls. Do not buy from this company unless you want to receive something you can buy off Temu!!
Order a gift Basket with Wine
Order a gift Basket with Wine, Cheese and other food items in it. As a gift, by definition, it is time sensitive and we counted on specific delivery date range. At the end:
- they never sent any confirmation for the order, I only received confirmation from the PayPal. There was no simple (or any) way to even see status of the order.
- seven days later, much later than we expected and the event related to gift already passed, they only sent me a tracking number, while only label created on that day and the actual shipment made on the next day.
- according to person to whom we sent it, it came in the ugly appearance, anything that could melt - cheese, chocolate - melted. Everything was disorganized, ugly looking, according to them.
Simply disgusting.

I originally gave one star and on the same day of my original review (above), I also wrote to the seller about the issue. They replied with apologies, issued some stupid excuses and promised to resend a new one, which they did a few days later. The second Basket came better, though it lacked some items, according to the person to whom I sent this gift - so it was only a part of original order. And it was obviously much later after the event for which the gift was intended. Anyway, for the attempt, I am giving them a couple more stars, but I probably will not order through them again.
Selling FAKE FlyHugz travel pillows
Ordered FlyHugz travel pillows. What turned up were NOT FlyHugz products - just cheap junk, fake replicas. When I asked for the genuine products (as advertised) and said I'd return the fake ones, they were exceptionally rude. And then they cut contact.
NOT A NZ COMPANY - BE WARNED!!!
They are selling FAKE products using FlyHugz name. I contacted FlyHugz and advised them and they were very grateful for my assistance. Have also started proceedings in NZ to counteract these horrible people.
Again, they are not New Zealanders. Don't be fooled by false advertising.
I purchased a Flyhugz travel pillow but…
I purchased a Flyhugz travel pillow but what I received was a knock off pillow directly from China. The item is not fit for purpose as the "velcro" closure isn't even velcro and will not attach. It's useless as a travel pillow as it will not stay on. This company is a complete sham. I have called and emailed with no response. I could have ordered directly from Temu and paid half of what this cost.
Same thing happened to me
Same thing happened to me. Made an order start of June. No parcel has arrived and it’s been over a month. Estimated delivery was 1-14 days. It’s been over a month. Money has been taken but no parcel. I’ve emailed three times and texted then and there’s been no response for two weeks. Don’t order from here. Website might look legit but they just took the money and didn’t send the item . That’s about $50 down the drain and claiming to be local thought I was supporting a kiwi business .
RIP OFF
These guys are a complete rip off. They say their pillows and security bags are FlyzNZ but that is a COMPLETE lie they are a knock-off.
Really angry that I cannot trust the bag that I paid for as the strap could easily be cut.

Gift Tree took my money and ran
When my product arrived I discovered that it wasn't as advertised on the website and the overall quality was much lower than the listing suggested too. The gift was not a suitable quality or specification to give to my mum for mothers day as planned. When I contacted Gift Tree by email to arrange a return and refund I heard nothing. I followed up by email, and then by Facebook and Instagram message and also heard nothing. If they had replied and arranged a return and refund and agreed to correct the product description, I would have been happy enough. But not having heard anything makes it seem as though it is a scam and they have taken my money and left me with a product that I can't use, which I paid more money for than it is worth. I am very disappointed in their communication and warn any future customers to proceed with caution, or not at all.

Paid for overnight delivery for wedding gift which never arrived on June 8th.
Because company is closed on the wkd - you cannot get any customer service to find out why there is a delay!!!!
After speaking to someone on Monday morning I was assured that the delivery will be delivered the following day and now has to be redirected to another address since the delivery was to a hotel where the couple was married.
No delivery the following day - was told that day the item was out of stock. Never was told the item was out of stock when spoke to agent. Called again the next day - and was told the delivery will go out the following da!!!!
The order is now delayed by 5 days.
I was refunded a shipping fee.
Now to see if the gift arrives tomorrow as I was told.
DO NOT USE GIFT TREE!!!

Superbad experience did not deliver overnight even thokgh I paid the charge so my gift missed the wedding.

First and last time using GiftTree
I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE REVIEWS BEFORE I BUY FROM GiftTree. Had the same problem as other customers ordering in advance to make sure it will arrive on Christmas time. One basket arrived three days after Christmas, second 6 days later and third basket arrived 13 days after Christmas! On top of that people that received the third basket are close enough to us to send us pictures of the basket all messed up and with cheap products in it. We spent $430 for cheap snacks! The first two baskets were sent to important people to us for appreciation, we feel so uncomfortable! On Jan 2nd I called to complain about the lateness of the first two baskets and that the third basket wasn't received at all! Guy called James told me the same thing as other unhappy customers. The delivery was only for an "estimated date" and he refused to give back any refund. I asked for a refund on the third basket that wasn't received at all and he said they have to investigate with posts and he accused me of giving the wrong address. So unprofessional! He said he will send me an email. I never received an email or refund from them and later that day the basket was delivered to the right address, almost two weeks from the day I ordered it. I will never use GiftTree again!!!

Bad fruit. Not organic, overripe, dry and damaged with equipment gouges obviously from before packaged. Yuck.

IT WAS A SURPRISE PARTY, BUT THE BASKET WAS DELIVERED WRONG DAY, AND THE RECIPIENT DISCOVERED THERE WAS GOING TO BE A PARTY FOR HER AT HER HOUSE…..SHE IS TURNING 90!
