Ordered a rod 10 days ago from the website. Emailed a couple of times to get a delivery date, got vague reply's. Phoned the shop and got an unhelpful member of staff, suggesting it’s my fault for not reading the terms and conditions. He couldn’t tell me when the rod will be shipped, though it’s in stock at the warehouse.
I asked why is it taking so long to get the rod from the warehouse, is it in another country? He said ‘I’m not at liberty to say where the warehouse is’.
I buy fishing gear from all over the world and this is by far the slowest.
I cancelled my order.

Easy to purchase! I was delighted to find you sold gift vouchers so my family member could choose his own gear. It was easy to navigate the site and make a purchase. My 4 stars instead of 5 is really because of the aesthetic... I would have really appreciated something to print off and hand over that shouted "gift voucher from Gerrys fishing" rather than a code emailed to me. I created my own voucher, and I understand that it isn't your core business, but it may well stop me purchasing another voucher in the future which is sad as I thought I'd found the solution to all future birthdays and Christmases!

Had a prompt delivery of a nitro platform. When I tried to assemble it the box section was slightly dented and the sliding frame wouldn't go in. I phoned them and a lovely chap answered and gave me his email address to send a couple of photos. Next morning they phoned to get the item picked up and a new one delivered. The problem was at the factory where it was made , all packaging was perfect.

I found the website easy to navigate, I had a few queries regarding the suit which I used the chat bot and got the answers I needed within minutes, I found the staff very professional and knowledgeable. Will gladly use them again. I did miss the delivery time which was nearly 2 weeks but that was because it was in the final order and I skipped through it too quickly as it was through Pay Pal.

Ordered a westin lure on the 21 December 25 still not come and no follow up emails

I tried a few websites for what I wanted, but Gerry’s fishing had exactly what I wanted and correct size and at a very reasonable price, a lot cheaper than most! I was kept informed of my order and when it would be delivered and they responded to my enquiries without delay!

Comprehensive range of tackle for all disciplines.Probably the best choice of gear for trips to Norway.Some time ago I spoke directly to staff for advice on upgrading my beachcasters,after quite in depth assessment of my requirements regarding personal style and preferred venues I settled on a pair of rods from the sunset range.I still use them from Chesil to the Bristol Channel and local beaches and rock marks in South Devon and have no need to consider changing them some 6 years on.If I need to to replace any items such as terminal gear I will look on Gerry,s site first as they stock all the major brands backed by knowledgeable and friendly staff.
